Optimization of a small induction machine.

The goal of this thesis is to improve efficiency of an induction motor. In the first part, the working principle is described. The next part deals with the origin of losses and possible solutions to decreasing losses without impacting the production possibles. The third part of the thesis is focused on the calculation of parameters of a small serial production motor. In the fourth part, these parameters are verified using the analytical tool RMxprt which is included in Ansys Maxwell. The fifth chapter deals with the optimization using Matlab genetic algorithm. In the final chapter, the design modifications are verified using the method of finite element Ansys Maxwell 2D.

Experimental and numerical analysis of load test concrete slabs

This bachelor’s thesis describes a design, making and experimental load test of reinforced concrete element, which has been selected as a slab. The part of laboratory work was production of testing ensembles and assessment of their physical and mechanical properties. The data from experiment were compared with the results of simulated load test in software Atena 3D, that is using for nonlinear analysis the finite element method. All results were compared with numerical analysis from valid norm.

Diagnostics of selected bridge structure

This thesis deals with building survey of bridge register number 43-011 located near Česká. The part of thesis is literary reaserch dealing with system of management and cotrol of road bridges, precast bridge contructions made with DS-C type girgers and about general diagnostical methods. The practical section contains of in situ diagnostical survey and bridge inspection, laboratory evaluation and comparision, load bearing capacity calculation and suggestion of potencional technical precautions.

Substrate integrated dielectric resonator antenna

The bachelor´s thesis deals with the design of the dielectric resonator antenna in the microwave band X, where the resonator is made by air perforations. The antenna is made by two layers. The antenna is supplied by the substrate integrated waveguide. The design of the dimensions to achieve the desired resonance frequency of the dielectric resonator and integration of resonator is described. The whole antenna is designed in the CST Microwave Studio software.
