Surfing in the landlocked countries
Gross, Adam ; Bačáková, Radka (advisor) ; Hruša, Filip (referee)
Title Surfing in the landlocked countries Objectives The aim of this bachelor's thesis is to explore from the perspective of people who permanently live in a landlocked country, whether it is possible to sufficiently train and prepare for surfing in oceanic conditions. Methods This project is an empirical-theoretical work in which a quantitative research method in the form of questioning was used. Data was obtained through an online survey that contained mostly closed questions, along with a few semi-closed and open questions. The total number of questions was 24. The survey was distributed through various social media platforms aiming at people with previous or current surfing experience who live permanently in a landlocked country. Data collection took place using the Google Forms application. Results The results of the thesis show following: From the respondents' point of view, the conditions for learning, training and preparing surfers in a landlocked country are not comparable to the conditions of a country that has an ocean and offers the opportunity to ride real surfing waves. Conclusion In conclusion, the results of the survey have addressed the research questions. Based on the answers received from the respondents, it is possible to say that some individual parts (components) of surfing...
Freestyle windsurfing methodology
Valda, Antonín ; Bačáková, Radka (advisor) ; Hruša, Filip (referee)
Title: Freestyle windsurfing methodology Aims: Create a methodical range of windsurfing freestyle tricks. Methods: The work was created on the basis of an analysis of documents. Methods of content analysis and description were used to obtain and process the necessary information. Conclusion: The Bachelor thesis describes the modern concept of windsurfing. Subsequently, a methodical series of selected freestyle tricks is described. Key Words: Trick, board, sail, wind, jumping freestyle, power freestyle
Didactics of downhill skiing for people with lower limb amputacion
Hruša, Filip ; Hruša, Jan (advisor) ; Strnad, Pavel (referee)
Thesis title: Didactics of downhill skiing for peouple with lower limb amputation. Main objectives: Verification of proposed methodical series for lower-limb amputation skiers. Method: The work is of theoretical-empirical character, this is an observatory- explanation case study applied to five probands, three skiers with one- sided underknee amputation, one skier with upperknee amputation and one proband with bilatelar amputation. Selection of probands was mad by intentional selection. Based on our empiricism, we will test probands before and after the training of our methodical series proposed in the bachelor thesis, enriched with special preparátory exercises. Results: Proband J.V. improved by 51 points and T.F. by 46 points. While two more experienced skiers P.S. by 37 points and A.B. 29 points. Proband A.B., who has unilateral knee amputation, is also the most experienced skier. He has improved by a total of twenty-nine points, at the highest skill level from the entire set of probands. A separate chapter in our ensemble was a skier with a two-sided amputation who had the least improvement at the lowest skill level. Such a skier is in an incomparably more difficult situation. Conclusion: In our diploma thesis, we have found that our methodological system has proven to be useful and we hope it...

Technique and methodology of skiing with one-sided above knee amputation on two skis
Hruša, Filip ; Hruša, Jan (advisor) ; Matošková, Petra (referee)
Thesis title: Technique and methodology of skiing with one-sided above knee amputation on two skis. Main objectives: Propose a methodical series for beginners with one-sided above knee amputation on two skis. Method: The work is of theoretical-empirical character, this is an explanatory case study applied to three probands, skiers with one-sided above knee amputation. Firstly, a content analysis of publicly available methodical publications will be carried out. Then the observation method with the following description will characterize probands technique by watching video records. Finally, we will propose a methodical series in which we will reflect the observed problems in the technique. Results: We found out in our bachelor thesis, that the same basic mistakes appear in amateur skier beginners, therefore we have proposed a theoretical methodological series that should lead to their elimination. Key words: above knee amputation, prosthetic, transfemoral amputation, prosthetic, skiing of amputees, skiing with prosthetic, ProCarve, C- leg, Genium.
Downhill skiing with exarticulation of the knee joint
Hruša, Filip ; Hruša, Jan (advisor) ; Strnad, Pavel (referee)
Thesis title: Downhill skiing with exarticulation of the knee joint. Main objectives: Evaluate prosthetic options for people with exarticulation in the knee joint for downhill skiing on two skis. Goals: 1) Suggest prosthetic solutions for downhill skiing with exarticulation of the knee joint. 2) On the force measuring plate L.A.S.A.R.-Posture, measure gravity center of skier on proposed prosthetic systems and evaluate substantial features for downhill skiing. Method: The work is empirical-theoretical nature. The methods are comparative analysis and observation with subsequent description. The monitored variables were skiers center of gravity position, and angles of the ankle and the knee joint at the neutral position and the base downhill ski position on the power measuring plate L.A.S.A.R.-Posture. Becouse of complexity and uniqueness of this issue, we chose a case study. Results: In our thesis we verify that there are available prothesis in the Czech Republic, which allows to people with exarticulation of the knee joint, safe skiing on two skis.
