(in English): The bachelor thesis deals with special techniques of communication with traumatized child in social work. The main purpose of the thesis is to find out whether social workers use special techniques of communication when they are working with children.The first part of the thesis is focused on theoretical background and interviews with children within social work. At the end of the theoretical part are selected some of the best known techniques which were used in interview.The second part is focused on the research, which was realized by qualitative method, there is a purpose which is divided into two partial aims. One of them is focused on social work's education and the second one is about particular view of usage of special techniques.
Communication in children's groups - comparison of interactions in healthy and mentally handicapped children

This thesis focuses on communication in groups of children. The main attention is put on intact children and children with disabilities. My work deals primarily with the components of non-verbal communication, alternative and augmentative communication. I focus on children at school age, on their ability to communicate and on their skills of working in the group. I monitor interactions at the level of children and the group leader and at the level between children themselves. Expressive methods and their use in social work with traumatized children

This thesis follows up models of expressive arts and their use in social work. The main focus is placed on work with traumatized children and young adults and therefore problematic of emotional development and the consequences of its disruption by experiencing a trauma. There are examples of different types of expressive arts and methods of work with this target group, which is often used in praxis. Theory follows up with research that maps the actual use of expressive art in praxis of social work in Czech Republic. Attitudes of managers to supervision in direct care

This bachelor thesis deals with problematics of supervision in direct care employees in elderly houses. Theoretical part serve for clarification term supervision in historical point of view, legislative basis and definition of supervision. Furthermore, in theoretical part are described specifications of direct care including related ricks. Concurrently deal with specifications of supervision with direct care employees. The research part describe questionnaire survey managers in direct care in elderly houses and try to find out their personal experience and attitude.
The workload of multidisciplinary team in a home for elderly in the context of the Biographical concept of care

(in English): This bachelor thesis is focused on the topic of mapping distress of multidisciplinary teams in the retirement houses for seniors with dementia syndrome. The theoretical part describes the basic concepts associated with the topic of this thesis. It deals with the dementia syndrome and its prevalence, retirement houses and the concept od formal carer within the multidisciplinary team. The biographical model of care is also introduced and the concept of the caregiver burden is explained. The practical part deals with evaluation of the caregiver burden of formal carers through quantiative questionnaire survey. The survey was conducted at four homes where the biographical model of care is implemented. The aim of this thesis is to map and define the areas of care where the caregiver feels the most distress. Another aim is to find out the differences in feeling of distress depending on the age and length of the caregivers'work experience.
Phenomenon of dignity as part of existential stability of senior

The bachelor thesis on the Phenomenon of dignity as part of existencial stability of the senior citizen deals with the phenomenon of dignity and its relation to the existential stability of man. The concept of dignity is perceived as a relation to fundamental values and principles in human society. Existential stability is an expression of the meaningfulness of human life. The bachelor thesis offers an overview of legislative and professional backgrounds related to the dignity and meaning of life in the context of logotherapy. The introductory theoretical part contains the definition of the basic concepts that are related to the solved problems and their relation to the main studied concepts. The practical part consists of the definition of qualitative research, methods that have been used and significant findings. The practical part is based on a phenomenon probe using qualitative research. Through semi-structured interviews and their subsequent analysis, the content of the definition of dignity and its relation to the existence stability of the senior was determined. These findings were subsequently used to design a concept of social work for a specific facility. The target group was seniors who live in nursing home facilities.

The role of social worker in multidisciplinary team in the field of mental health

The topic of thesis is to define and clarify the role of the social worker within the multidisciplinary team in the field of mental health care. The current transformation of psychiatric care focuses on community psychiatry, which uses interdisciplinary collaboration and an integrated approach to providing comprehensive care for clients in their natural environment. The globally changing concept of care gives a completly new role to social workers in the field of meeting the needs of mentally ill clients. The practical part explores, using semi-structured interviews, the option of working professionals on the role and position of social workers as a specific part of a multidisciplinary team. The aim of the thesis is to describe the role of a social worker from the point of view of his job role, their position in a multidisciplinary team and his/her subjective perception of their profession.
