Title: Case report of physiotherapist's patient care with the diagnosis: condition after surgery for total endoprotesthesis of the right knee joint Objectives: The aim of this paper is to get to know both theoretically and practically the diagnosis status after total knee arthroplasty. Methods: The first part of this work includes theoretical area by research. This section describes the anatomy, kinesiology and biomechanics of the knee joint. The issue of gonarthrosis and its treatment.Then there is the more developed surgical approach, the application causes a total joint replacement prosthesis type, and physical therapy after surgery procedures that are appropriate to a positive effect on patients' health. The second part of this work is special - processed form of case reports. This part is based on theoretical knowledge acquired during studies, and their application in clinical practice. It contains entrance kinesiological analysis and conclusion, on the basis of which is developed short-term and long-term rehabilitation plan. CASE STUDY OF PHYSIOTHERAPY TREATMENT OF A PATIENT AFTER STROKE Objectives: Theoretical analysis of after stroke management and elaboration of physiotherapy treatment schedule in the form of an after stroke patient case study. Methods: This work was done with patients consent within an uninterrupted practice at Central Military Hospital in Prague at the Department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation. The practice was held from 9th January to 3rd February. The work is divided into two main sections - a general (theoretical) and a special. In the general section is researched the theoretical background for status post hemorrhagic stroke. The general section includes basic characteristics of the illness, etiopathogenesis, incidence, diagnostics, treatment and options of physiotherapy methods concerning the illness. The special section contains the after stroke patient's case study, the review of proposed therapy and the therapy effect evaluation. Results: The patient's condition evolved during the treatment. The patient developed better muscular strength and joint movement, the swelling was reduced, right hand side of his body and limbs was strengthened and his overall stability and gait was improved. Title: Case report patient after implantantion of left total endoprosthesis knee Objective: The aim of this thesis is the processing of case studies selected patients in countinous professional practice and become familiar with theoretical base implantation diagnosis of total knee arthroplasty. Abstract: This case study was performed during the period of 10.1. to 4. 2. 2011. This article is divided into a theoretical component and a practical component. The theoretical component consists of an anatomical description of the knee joint and its kinesiology. The issue of arthritis are described along with the complications of total knee replacement, their types, indications and contraindications. Also, surgical technique and possible complications are discussed as a reminder of basic anatomical and biomechanical characteristics of the knee joint. The practical component focuses on the aspects of rehabilitation in patients with total knee arthroplasty. The case report was completed on a patient with implanted total knee arthroplasty through initial analysis and a detailed proposal therapy rehabilitation treatment plan. Physiotherapy after osteosynthesis of the trimalleolar fracture

Title of bachelor's thesis: Physiotherapy after osteosynthesis of the trimalleolar fracture. Aims: Concept, execution and evaluation of physiotherapeutic treatment of a patient affected by trimalleolar fracture of the ankle joint. Methods: The thesis is divided into two parts - theoretical and special. Theoretical part deals with basic principles of functional anatomy, kinesiology, biomechanics and traumatology of the ankle joint. It also includes information about possibilities of treatment - orthopedical (traumatological) and physiotherapeutic. Special part is focused on a case study of a patient with trimalleolar fracture. Results: Clinical state of the patient after execution of the therapy has improved. The range of movement in disabled ankle joint as well as muscle power of both legs have been increased. Thesis Name: Kazuistic physiotherapeutic care for patients after a vascular stroke Aims: The purpose of this bachelor thesis is to process and then delineate theoretical and practical knowledge regarding diagnose of a vascular stroke and it's application on detailed kazuistic of a patient with mentioned diagnose. Summary: This bachelor thesis is focused on ischemic vascular stroke of a female patient with side diagnosis of a Down syndrome. The thesis is compiled of two parts. Theoretical part describes definition of a vascular stroke, mechanisms of it's formation, the most important risk factors and the problematic of the most common displaying methods of a vascular stroke. Theoretical part of the thesis also focuses on stadiums after vascular stroke, treatment, rehabilitation in both urgent and sub-urgent chronic phases and also on physiotherapeutic methods used in therapeutic treatment of patients with mentioned diagnosis. The conclusion of theoretical part of the thesis is focused on Down syndrome and its characteristics, pathologies and etiologies diagnosis of it. Title: Case study of physiotherapy treatment of a patient after the ischemic stroke Objectives: The main aim of this study was to verify my ability to work with the patient, his examination, making conclusions, proposed treatment and its subsequent implementation. Other aim was mapping of the literature on the subject. Methods: The first part of my bachelor thesis is theoretical and it is aimed on stroke. There are described anatomy of cerebral artery, knowledge about stroke, its clinical symptoms and treatment options in this part. The description of spasticity with its influence on therapy and its treatment and the techniques used in physiotherapy are also there. The Brocca aphasia is described in the last section. The second part is the case report of a patient P. V. with diagnosis: ischemic stroke with dextral symptomatology. This special part is based on two weeks' work with the patient in the hospital (Ústřední vojenská nemocnice - Vojenská fakultní nemocnice Praha). This work lasted from 9th January 2012 to 3rd February 2012. The title of the batchelor thesis: A Case Study of Physiotherapeutic Treatment of a Patient after Fracture of L2 Objectives: The main objective of this thesis is to gather theoretical information of physiotherapeutic care for patients after suffering a fracture of vertebrae of the lumbar spine and making the following case report of a patient after an extraction of a fixator for the stabilization of L2 vertebrae. Summary: The general part is dedicated to the theory of anatomy, biomechanics and kinesiology of a spine and refers to diagnostic methods and treatments of spine lesions. Objectives: Summary of theoretical knowledge on the issue of amputation and processing of case study of the patient with the diagnosis of unilateral below knee amputation. Methods: The bachelor thesis consists of two parts. The general part includes the literature review of anatomy and kinesiology. The research furthermore investigates the problematic of amputations and prothesis, where it is focused on physiotherapy. The special part - case study of physiotherapy treatment of a patient with the diagnosis of unilateral above-knee amputation, contains case history, complex kinesiology examination, prosess of each therapy and final evaluation of its effect. The case study was written during rehabilitation practice in The Military University Hospital. Results: The applied therapeutic care positively contributed to the improved condition of the patient.
