Single-Phase Induction Motor Calculation
Schlesinger, Petr ; Vítek, Ondřej (referee) ; Hájek, Vítězslav (advisor)
This master’s thesis’s target is to introduce the basic findings about single-phase asynchronous motors, their derivation from three-phase motors and the basics of a computation process and a concept of a single-phase asynchronous squirrel cage motor. The inbeing of this concept and the computation is created by classical processes for three-phase motors with a low voltage, 50 Hz.
Proposal of electrical equipment for soaking and drying cores for making castings
Čermák, Jiří ; Hájek, Vítězslav (referee) ; Veselka, František (advisor)
This diploma thesis deals with proposal of electrical equipment for soaking and drying cores for making castings at foundry in a Great Britain. It brings look at system of technical norms ČSN and it compares it with british system of technical norms British standards. The second part of this thesis contains detailed proposal of this equipment, including specification of control system, specification of power supply cables and control cables and particular technological units. The whole project documentation is enclosed as an inseparable attachment of this diploma thesis.
Shaded-Pole Induction motor
Žuška, Martin ; Koláčný, Josef (referee) ; Hájek, Vítězslav (advisor)
Single-phase shade-pole motor has easy structure, and i tis chlap. It can be used as a drive of electrical fans, drive of small household appliancesor as a gramophonic motor. Motor is rotating one way only. Direction of roteting is given by positron of shading ring. Motor is not very effective, and i tis not efficient.
The issue of revision of the Laboratory of electrical machines
Pelikán, Luděk ; Hájek, Vítězslav (referee) ; Veselka, František (advisor)
This work is concerned with the inspection of electrical equipment as defined in ČSN 33150 and ČSN 33 2000-6 Section 6. Part of the work is a revision the lab of electrical equipment and the creation of a revision report.
Motors for automotive wipers
Sekerka, Jan ; Mach, Martin (referee) ; Hájek, Vítězslav (advisor)
This thesis deals with the innovation of DC motors with permanent magnets used in automotive technology to drive wiper mechanism to reduce the volume and weight of the active materials. Potential innovations is mainly using magnets of the magnetic rare earths, such as Neodym or samarium-cobalt. Another option is to reduce the rotor to decreases the number of threads (here, it's all about, what are the requirements for performance). The result is an innovative motor, wherein the volume of the permanent magnets is reduced by 65% and total volume of the motor by 23% while maintaining the rotor parts. Also slightly raised performance with Neodymium permanent magnets.
Chassis Electrical Systems
Maňák, Radim ; Janda, Marcel (referee) ; Hájek, Vítězslav (advisor)
Increasing demands onto active safety in service and passengers´s safety. This things requiring progression in technologies. In the first place electronic components were reached the greatest prosperity and improvement. Currently price electronic equipment is approximating to half price in be half car. The most important ones of safety is best quality and trouble-free operation. This project will be described splitting active safety and system integration to the unit system.
Methods of analysis of vibration signals
Russ, David ; Hájek, Vítězslav (referee) ; Janda, Marcel (advisor)
The main target of this master’s thesis is to focus on methods of analysis of vibration signals in electric machines. To get know the basic principles of the diagnostics methods, is important to clarify origin of the vibration signals and the impact they have. The selected methods were tested practically by measurement on electric machines. Measured data were processed in program LabVIEW. In this thesis were created programs which actually can be aplicated for complete vibrodiagnostics of electric machines in particular induction motors. The basic evaluation of vibration are the RMS value, Crest factor, time course and power spectrum. Results of this thesis are used to demonstrate how quickly and effectively can be vibration signals from electric machines evaluated.
DC Motors Analysis and Innovation
Šimko, František ; Kuchyňková, Hana (referee) ; Hájek, Vítězslav (advisor)
The thesis aims to explain the design a prototype of an innovated small engine. It is divided into three main parts. The first part is focused on the analysis of low power DC small engines available on the market. The second part consists of measuring, construction and loss analysis of a DC small engine with permanent magnets. The last part deals with the possible innovations of a small engine with permanent magnets and subsequent implementation of some of them. The innovations are supported by calculations and simulations.
Improvement Power Parameter of Small Induction Motors
Halfar, Tomáš ; Ondrůšek, Čestmír (referee) ; Hájek, Vítězslav (advisor)
The master’s thesis Improvement power parameter of small induction motors deals with issues of lowering the losses of small induction motors. The first part introduces with design and principles of operation of induction motors. Also introduces to theoretical problematic of losses, their lowering and measuring. In the practical part there are results of the measuring the losses in the induction motor ATAS Elektromotory Náchod a.s. T22VT512 (71-0512). There are proposed methods of increasing the efficiency of induction motor due to measuring and their verification in the Maxwell software. The last part is dedicated to measuring the losses of prototype motor from ATAS and comparison of results with previous motor.
Model of permanent magnet synchronous motor with calulation of iron losses
Kubenka, Marek ; Hájek, Vítězslav (referee) ; Huzlík, Rostislav (advisor)
This master´s thesis deals with permanent magnet synchronous motor, which is part of hybrid system of Toyota Prius. You can find study of this motor in program FEMM in this thesis. Model of equivalent magnetic circuit and magnetic flux density are part of this work. There is also information about core losses.
