Neurogenesis and gliogenesis after ischemic brain injury in EGFP/GFAP mice
Dlouhá, Veronika ; Anděrová, Miroslava (advisor) ; Vargová, Lýdia (referee)
Focal ischemia induces enhancement of neurogenesis/gliogenesis in the subventricular zone (SVZ) of the lateral ventricle and it also leads to glial scar formation in the vicinity of the ischemic lesion. The gliotic scar is mainly formed by reactive astrocytes that express glial fibrilarly acidic protein (GFAP), nevertheless this protein is also expressed in adult multipotent neural stem cells (NSCs). Therefore, we have used the strain of transgenic mice (GFAP/EGFP mice), in which the enhanced green fluorescent protein (EGFP) is expressed under human GFAP promoter in astrocytes as well as in NSCs, thus allowing us an immediate vizualization of these cells, and to estimate the effect of ischemic injury on their fate during proliferation and differentiation in vitro. Focal ischemia was induced by the occlusion of the middle cerebral artery (MCAO) and 3 days post injury, an immunohistochemical analysis was carried out. Furthermore, the cell isolation from SVZ and the region of gliotic scar was performed, followed by their cultivation under proliferative conditions (as neurospheres) and their differentiation for 7-10 days. The differentiation potential of these cells was studied using immunocytochemical analyses and patch clamp technique was employed to estimate their membrane properties. Based on increased...
Optimization of reinsurace parameters in insurance
Dlouhá, Veronika ; Branda, Martin (advisor) ; Cipra, Tomáš (referee)
This thesis is dedicated to searching optimal parameters of reinsurance with a focus of quota-share and stop-loss reinsurance. The optimization is based on minimization of value at risk and conditional value at risk of total costs of the insurer for the recieved risk. It also presents a compound random variable and shows various methods of obtaining its probability distribution, for example ap- proximation by lognormal or gamma mixtures distributions or by Panjer recurive method for continuous severity and numerical method of its solution. At the end of the thesis we can find the calculation of the optimal parameters of reinsurance for a compound random variable based on real data. We use various methods to determine probability distribution and premiums. 1
Computing the aggregate claims distribution
Dlouhá, Veronika ; Pešta, Michal (advisor) ; Cipra, Tomáš (referee)
In this bachelor thesis I study the distribution of aggregate claims. First I introduce the topic and present main models. Then, I show some distributions used for modeling number and amound of claims with estimates of their parameters. Next I get to compound distribution and its basic charakteristics. In other parts of the thesis I study the probability of aggregate claims using Panjer recursion and fast Fourier transform and apply the thoery to examples. Finally I mention some methods to approximate aggregate claims using known distribution.

Cyberbullying at the elementary school
DLOUHÁ, Veronika
The thesis "Cyberbullying at the elementary school" referred to the issue of cyberbullying is currently in our society. We should first clarify the basic concepts of the topic, as well as resources such behavior of children and related concepts such as kybergrooming. Further work is devoted to less important topics such as preventive measures, procedures in the event of cyberbullying and its postižitelností. We are also acquainted with the real cases of cyberbullying. In the empirical part of the thesis, we focused on a specific group of respondents from rural and urban primary schools in the South Bohemian region in order to confirm or disprove the hypothesis of the existence of cyberbullying in the school and pupils' awareness of such conduct, and then draw the appropriate conclusions.
Finance and accounting of civil association in specific application
Dlouhá, Veronika ; Takáčová, Hana (advisor)
This work deals with problems of nonprofit sector, it is more concentrated on nonprofit organizations which doesn't work in state and political area. Second part of this work treat about civil association Duha and about one concrete part of this association (Dužina Miřetín).

Dlouhá, Veronika ; Koubová, Libuše (advisor) ; Nováčková, Zdenka (referee)
Diplomová práce shrnuje právní úpravu účetnictví a daní z příjmů právnických osob v České republice. Blíže specifikuje daňově uznatelné a neuznatelné náklady. Upozorňuje na nutné úpravy výsledku hospodaření zjištěného z účetnictví, které je třeba provést pro stanovení základu daně dle zákona o daních z příjmů a následné vypočtení splatné daně z příjmů právnických osob. Obsahuje metody výpočtu a účtování odložené daně. Diplomová práce hodnotí výhody a nevýhody provázanosti účetního a daňového systému.
