Design of a test stand for vibrodiagnostics education

The master's thesis on the topic "Design of a Testing Model for Vibrodiagnostics Education" deals with the construction issues of the device. The introductory section provides a systematic analysis, which serves as the basis for the subsequent work. The literature review section discusses Technical Diagnostics with a focus on its subfield, Vibrodiagnostics. It also describes various types of sensors used for vibration measurements. Subsequently, typical faults of rotors and their configuration are presented. The thesis then focuses on the design of the testing device. The design emphasizes simplicity, ease of manufacturing, and minimizing production costs while maintaining functionality and reliability. After the suitable design was proposed, the testing device was manufactured and its functionality was tested in a school laboratory. Several measurements were conducted on different types of faults, such as static unbalance and moment unbalance. The measurements also considered misalignment due to the lack of device calibration. The final part of the thesis evaluates the testing device and provides recommendations for possible improvements. The outcome of the work is the creation of a functional testing model for diagnostic education, which has been tested and is operational.

Aim of this diploma thesis is to focus on the comparison of types of press chambers in Krone's cylindrical bales presses. In particular, the compressibility and energy consumption in these presses/machines will be compared. Firstly, the history of the cylindrical bale presses will be shortly described and then every chamber build will be briefly detailed. Next part of this thesis is dedicated to the characterization of the land, where the measurement took place, and the methods of the measurement/measurement methodology/methodology of measurement. The measured values will be rated and recommended for the agricultural practice.

In nuclear power plants, we encounter a number of safety systems that complement, replace or assist each other and thus reliably perform their safety functions. A number of advanced tools are currently used to develop and test these safety systems, which must meet not only industry standards but also legislative regulations and directives. These tools include the very powerful industrial simulation program Apros 6 Nuclear, which was developed directly for use in nuclear power plants, and is therefore able to help meet the requirements of nuclear power plants in the field of nuclear safety. Within the theoretical part of this work, the issues of safety of industrial units, safety of nuclear facilities and demonstration of the Apros 6 program itself, including a description of the work in this program, are presented. This therefore means acquaintance with the most important terms used in nuclear safety, with the structure and classification of safety systems used in nuclear power plants and with the basic principles used in the field of nuclear safety. The last theoretical chapter introduces the Apros 6 program itself, the basic tasks that can be performed in it and which were used in the practical part to create a model structure. After getting acquainted with the theoretical contexts, the practical part of the work emphasizes the characteristics of a specific safety system of the primary circuit of Dukovany NPP and the implementation of the model of this safety system in the program Apros 6 Nuclear. The content of the model is an introduction and description of all the most important parts together with their settings and location.

This bachelor thesis deals mainly with Case IH tractors (hereinafter Case). It focuses on the diagnostics of the CVX continuously variable transmission, both parallel and serial. The introductory part is aimed on the theory in the field of diagnostics and its importance. The following section addresses a specific issue with a focus on the CVX continuously variable transmission. The practical part of the work first describes the simple construction of the gearbox and then the individual measurements are performed and comparisons with the prescribed values by the manufacturer.

Simulation of heat transfer in the program COMSOL Multiphysics

This bachelor thesis deals with the study of heat conduction in solids and the creation of a model in the commercial program COMSOL Multiphysics. The work is divided into five thematic units. The first part deals briefly with the meaning and characteristics of both the program and the heat transfer module. Heat, as one form of energy, accompanies all the physical processes we can encounter and is an integral part of our lives. In this connection, the basic physical mechanisms of heat transfer, such as conduction, flow and radiation, are presented in the second part. Attention is also paid to physical variables, theories and concepts whose knowledge is necessary to investigate heat transfer mechanisms. The third part of the thesis is devoted to the experiment, consisting in the observation of temperatures of heated materials by a thermal camera. In the fourth part of the thesis are first described in general the steps accompanying the production of the model and subsequently production of a particular model in the program itself. The last part of the thesis is devoted to comparing experimental results with data from the model.
