Usage of Instagram app in contemporary photojournalism

Usage of Instagram app in contemporary photojournalism is a theoretical-empirical research. The aim of this work was to describe the way in which selected Czech photojournalists use Instagram. Whether it is important to them from the point of view of their professional orientation or whether they use it for personal purposes and whether is for them important the feedback they can get through this application. In the first chapter the diploma thesis deals with photography as such, its transition from analog to digital age and the issue of its manipulation. The second and third chapters of this diploma thesis deal with social networks and the application of Instagram. It also deals with how the digitization process has influenced the work of today's photo reporters. The practical part of the thesis is based on two approaches - quantitative content analysis and qualitative interviews with some of the reporters. The research question is: How do some Czech photojournalists present on the Instagram social network? Quantitative content analysis responded to established hypotheses in the research question, which mainly concerned the visual aspects of Instagram accounts. Intercompany comparison of company services

The dissertation work concentrates on an intercompany comparison of Czech Post Office with other companies whose subject of activity are similar and to find out its standing ratio within the evaluation standard of the companies and the best industry values. The theoretical part concentrates on the ways and methods of comparison including the evaluation within its industry, logistics and storage. In the practical part, the analysis of 15 companies is presented based on ratio indicators from 2010 to 2014. Using a cluster analysis tool, the whole file was reduced and then one with the best values was chosen by using a math-statistical method. The last but not least important step was using the Spider analysis to compare the best company, with good average within the industry branch, with the specified company, and on those basics, certain measures were suggested towards the improvement of the company's situation.

Personnel management in a chosen company

The aim of this bachelor thesis is to characterize and evaluate personnel activities in the state-owned enterprise Česká pošta and to propose potential changes to increase efficiency of the personnel management. The work consists of a theoretical part, based on literature study, and of the practical part. The individual personnel activities, which focuse on the assessment and reward system of the employees, are characterized in the practical part. Based on a questionnaire survey, certain changes are proposed, which might lead to better enterprise functioning. They were purposed particularly in the area of communication, applying soft incentives or new reward systems.
