The influence of the grain size of powdered NaCl on its thermal properties

The paper deals with the study of the thermal behavior of a sample of NaCl in powder form (with homogeneous and inhomogeneous grain distribution, different humidity) and monocrystalline NaCl using the methods of thermal analysis (DSC and TMA) and mass spectrometry (MS).

This contribution deals with the study of thermal behavior of CsCl-HfCl4 mixture of various composition (containing excess of Cs- or Hf-component) in enclosed system (quartz ampoule) by non-isothermal DSC analysis. Important information necessary for optimization of the Cs2HfCl6 crystal growth by the vertical Bridgman method were obtained from the comparison of the recorded results and the CsCl-HfCl4 phase diagram.
Study of cesium hafnium chloride by methods of thermal analysis

This work deals with the study of processes in cesium hafnium chloride (Cs2HfCl6) and its single crystal under thermal treatment by thermal analyses (different scanning calorimetry, thermogravimetry and thermomechanical analysis). Results showed thermal instability of Cs2HfCl6 and its significant decomposition to cesium and hafnium chloride above the eutectic temperature.

This work deals with a study of the particle size influence of the thermally treated Er:Li2O-Y2O3-P2O5 glassy powder samples on the effects of glass transformation and crystallization. Further, it presents the mineralogical composition of the crystallization products and material properties of prepared glasses.
