Mixed-use building in Mikulov

The bachelor's thesis follows a project developed within the subject AG035 Studio of Architectural Creation. The subject of the design is a multifunctional house in the place of the gap, which currently serves as a parking lot or marketplace. The multifunctional house is located close to the walls and castle gardens of Mikulov Castle - located in the urban conservation zone, which was declared in Mikulov in 1982. Due to the elevation of the plot and the street to which the design is adjacent, the multifunctional house is divided into three related parts. The outer parts are set aside for commercial purposes on the first floor (florist, newsagent, bistro). The second, third floor and attic offer a total of 8 apartments. The middle part is reserved only for a literary café. The design also includes underground parking accessible by stairs from the first floor of the outer parts of the multifunctional building. Entry and exit is provided by two ramps. An integral part is the culture of the remaining free space adjacent to the walls of the Mikulov castle. It will consist of gardens and a space/passage adjacent to the wine cellar located under the walls. At the same time, it will be possible to get from this passage to the area of the castle gardens by means of a designed elevator. The facades of all three parts of the multifunctional house are richly glazed and designed in white, beige plaster or pigmented concrete trowel. They take into account the fact that the multifunctional house is located in the urban conservation zone. The roof of the building is saddle with concrete covering in a traditional red-brown colour.
Apartment Building Gemini

The subject of the bachelor’s thesis is elaboration of the project documentation of an apartment building in Brno – Medlánky. The building is designed as free-standing in a sloping terrain and has 4 floors above and 1 underground. There are a total of 18 dwelling units. The structure in underground floor is designed as combination of reinforced conrete walls and columns, the structure of floors above is designed as masonry sytem of walls from brick blocks. The ceiling structures are designed as reinforced concrete slabs. The roof structure is in a form of warm flat green roof. The foundation structures are designed as reinforced concrete strips and pads.

This diploma thesis describes the design of showroom and car service of Mazda brand in Trencin. It is a detached building on a flat terrain. The car showroom and car service have two above-ground floors and one underground floor. On the first underground floor there is an underground garage designed for new cars for sale. On the first floor there is a car showroom with a customer base and a car service with facilities for car service staff. On the second floor there are offices with facilities for staff. The building is designed from a reinforced concrete structure and porous concrete blocks. The ceilings are monolithic reinforced concrete and the roof is designed as flat with trusses and reinforced concrete slab. The work includes project documentation for the construction.

Office building

The aim of this master's thesis is to design a low-energy office building in Lanškroun. There are three parts, documentation for building permission, a concept of HVAC documentation and multi-criteria assessment in SBToolCZ. The SBToolCZ evaluates of 39 standards, which are divided into four groups – environmental, social criteria, economics and management and location. The proposed building is two-storey, the ground floor is partly below ground level and is designed of reinforced concrete. The first floor is made of CLT panels. The building has a green roof. A green facade will be made on three sides of the ground floor. On the ground floor, there are reception, a meeting room, offices, a technical and storage facilities. On the first floor, there are offices with facilities for employees. Energy for heating and domestic hot water is provided by a condensing gas boiler. Ventilation in the building is provided by an air conditioning unit with heat recovery. There is an underground tank for collecting rainwater that is used for watering the garden and the green facade. The thesis is processed mainly in the software AutoCAD, MS Word, MS Excel and DEKSOFT.
Detached house in Humpolec

The aim of this Bachelor thesis is to design a detached house within a project document. A designed object is situated in a certain building site in a territory of Humpolec in Vysočina region. The detached house is conceived as a self-contained object, arranged for a fourmembered family. It is a 2-floor top view rectangle building on a slope with a partially embedded floor in a 1.S terrain. In a basement, there are technical and relaxing rooms with a sauna and a gym, in the first floor, there is a social and relaxing zone. The vertical constructions are made of formwork Best and ceramic breeze blocks Porotherm. The house is internally weatherproof and a facade ThermoWood is air-filtered. A horizontally supporting construction consists of a ceiling Porotherm. The roof of the detached house is made of two-layer roof construction in wooden tie beams.
Passive house

Bachelor’s thesis is focused on solving project documentation of new building of Passive building. Emphasis is laid on creating „airtight“cover of house which is achieved accuracy solutions to structural details, suitable selection of building and supplementary materials. An important factor in this issue is the massive use of thermal insulation materials. The project also focuses on the appropriate arrangement of renewable energy technologies and their applications.
Apartment house in Pacov

The aim of the bachelor´s thesis is to elaborate the documentation for the construction of the apartment house and terraced garages. The location of the designed building is in Sídliště Míru street, in the town of Pacov. The apartment house has three above-ground floors and one underground floor. Fourteen housing units are designed in the above-ground floors, while the underground floor consists of a technical background of the house and a cellar units. On the plot area, there are also designed open-air parking spaces and a children's playground. The apartment house is based on on strip foundations. The structural system of a building is designed from walls with monolithic reinforced concrete ceilings. The load-bearing walls of the above-ground floors are designed from HELUZ ceramic blocks and the load-bearing walls of the underground floor are solved by permanent formwork. The building is isolated with an external contact insulation system, internationally referred to as ETICS. The roof is designed as warm flat roof. Terraced garages are designed as two separate buildings, each with seven garage spaces. Load-bearing and partition walls will be made of HELUZ ceramic blocks. The foundation will be based on foundation strips and roofing with warm flat roof.
The accommodation facility of Blanice

This diploma thesis deals with the elaboration of the project documentation of the construction of the Blanice accommodation facility. The object has a rectangular shape. The proposed building is located in Vodnany. The accommodation facility is designed for 28 people and 32 seats in the restaurant. The building is designed as a four-storey, partly basement. On the underground floor there are storage areas, technical background. On the first floor there is a main entrance, a reception and a restaurant with technical facilities for the staff. On the second and third floor there are guest rooms. On the second floor there is also a room for people with limited mobility. The building is bricked from brick blocks with a flat roof Keywords.
Gmont Cable Brno

The content of the bachelor thesis was elaborated follow-up levels of project documentation for studying the new building Gmont cable in Brno, which I designed for subject AG032. The proposed building is located in the city of Brno - Cernovice. Building is near by many types of services, especially industrial factories. The building is mostly one – storey or two – storey. Newly built plant of Gmont s.r.o. will be one-storey, focused on the manufacture of cables and the assembly of cable harnesses, cables and wires. There is an administrative part in the building providing the organization of the company. The main idea was to fit the object appropriately into the surrounding environment using a minimalist style. Compositionally mass consist of 3 volumes, which together form the final shape of the building and diagonally follow adjacent communications. Atrium is inserted into the center of the building. An important element that gave the construction a characteristic expression was the use without a maintenance facade. The direct light coming into the building is scattered through perforated sheet metal, creating an interesting game of light and shade in the interiors. In the main production, light is brought to the object by saw blades oriented northwards. The construction technical site is designed with prefabricated reinforced concrete prefabricated structural skeletal system and the dry construction process prevails.
