The aim of the bachelor‘s thesis is to acquaint readers with a creation of Add-On Instructions in the development environment Studio 5000 for the industrial network AS-Interface, to which the conveyor model is connected. The thesis is divided into a theoretical part dealing with the description of the AS-Interface network, the operation of the Add-On instruction and the conveyor model and a practical part that describes the specific creation of Add-On instructions, their logic, demonstration in a task and a complete list.

Power Line Communication for Home Automation Applications

This thesis describes the design of a modem for a communication over residential power lines. First part is focused on the history, suitable frequency bands, modulation techniques and mainly on the selection of the optimal modem device. Second section contains the description of the hardware design of the modem itself and clarifies the implementation of the PLC module to be used as a communication interface for a full residential automation solution. Last chapters of this thesis introduce the communication protocol, design of the software for the ATmega32 MCU and present of the final field testing under real conditions.

Add-on to moto-racing software

The main goal of this bachelor´s thesis was to establish communication with scoreboard via RS-485 and develop application for reporter. Communication with scoreboard was added to existing program Regularity Rally, also main errors were corrected. To ensure correct behavior the existing database was slightly modified. All programs were developed in Microsoft Visual Studio 2017 and written in programming language C#. The database was developed via MySQL.

Desing of supplementary coding switching unit

The diploma thesis is dealing with the area of controlling and safety technology for the railway transportation. The problems of the design and practical realization of an functional sample of switching unit supplying the ends of a track circuit are solved here. The switching unit enables the operation of the train control system. The outline of the design is formed by a power switch operated with a microprocessor. In addition, for the increase in safety the switching unit contains a control processor, which is controlling the right function of a work microprocessor and the failure-free state of a power switch.

Firmware for a pressure sensor with HART interfacel

The bachelor thesis deals with draft of firmware for a capacitive sensor with HART communication protocol. At first, it briefly describes the HART protocol (principles of communication, frame structure and connectivity devices on the HART bus). Subsequently attention is paid to capacitive sensor description, method of data processing and communication method of the sensor with HART interface. The final part depicts individual parts of the firmware for the capacitive sensor (such as the method of values reading from A/D converter, data reading/writing from/to external or internal EEPROM or calculation of the measured pressure value, its temperature compensation and corresponding current loop, using D/A converter.

The purpose of the thesis is design and contruction of remote training station for training with Schneider Electric products. Its purpose is to introduce company PLCs, familirize user with configuring variable speed drives and servo drives and prezenting Machine Advisor and EcoStruxure Augmented Operator Advisor online servives The begining is dedicated to introduction to company and a range of its products in the field of industrial automation. In second chapter, I select components for building training station. Third chapter is dedicated to assembly of station. In fourth chaper I describe programing of individual elements and example.

Wireless dataexchange for heat exchanger

The subject of this bachelor’s thesis is firstly an introduction to devices that are used for controlling the heat exchanger model, visualization and wireless data-exchange. For this purpose are used ROCKWELL AUTOMATION programmable logic controllers, ROCKWELL AUTOMATION terminal and SATEL radio modems. A schematic of the heat exchanger model is also included with description of each model part. The second part of this document is focused on the design of regulation, visualization and wireless data-exchange by means of already mentioned devices. The last part describes realization steps of controlling, creating of visualization and algorithm for wireless data transfer according to designs mentioned in the second part of this document.

Control of heating system for family house

The aim of the work is design involvement of controls elements and implementation of the control program for control of heating system for family house. The first part deals with the analysis of control principles, sources of heat and radiator elements. It describes measuring control devices from KOBRA company, and software named “Architekt” which serves for environment creation. The second part focuses on the design diagrams, switchboard wiring, its installation and the creation of the application.

Tic-tac-toe game by 2D manipulator

This master’s thesis deals with the renewal of electrical equipment of 2D manipulator and putting it into operation. It contains a description of the machine, used components and their connections. It describes the principle of two communication buses, which are used for machine control. Next part is devoted to the safety analysis of the machine. Following chapters describe developing of a control program and designing of a visualization.
