Data Interface for Sharing of "City Data"
Fiala, Jan ; Špaňhel, Jakub (referee) ; Zemčík, Pavel (advisor)
The goal of this thesis is to explore existing solutions of closed and open data sharing, propose options of sharing non-public data, implement selected solution and demonstrate the functionality of the system for sharing closed data. Implementation output consist of a catalog of non-public datasets, web application for administration of non-public datasets, application interface gateway and demonstration application.
User Interface for HDR Tone Mapping System
Jedlička, Jan ; Špaňhel, Jakub (referee) ; Čadík, Martin (advisor)
The goal of this thesis is to improve graphical user interface of Tone Mapping Studio(TMS) program. This program is being developed on the Faculty of Information Technology(FIT), Brno University of Technology (BUT) by doc. Ing. Martin Čadík, PhD. The current program is using framework Qt3 , which is old and not compatible with modern libraries. This program has to be rewritten to support current version Qt5. I will analyze other programs in the area of working with High Dynamic Range (HDR) images and video. Changes for improving the interface will be proposed and UX tests will be done. Second part will consist of comparing plug-ins for converting images to grayscale that already exists in TMS.
Vehicle Counting in Still Image
Vágner, Filip ; Juránek, Roman (referee) ; Špaňhel, Jakub (advisor)
The goal of this work is to compare models of convolutional neural networks designed to count vehicles in a static image using density estimation with a focus on different sizes of objects in the scene. A total of four models were evaluated - Scale Pyramid Network, Scale-adaptive CNN, Multi-scale fusion network and CASA-Crowd. The evaluation was done on three data sets - TRANCOS, CARPK, PUCPR+. Scale Pyramid Network achieved the best results. The model reached 5.44 in the Mean Absolute Error metric and 9.95 in the GAME(3) metric on TRANCOS dataset.
Mobile App for Logging of Automobile Costs
Mokrý, Martin ; Špaňhel, Jakub (referee) ; Herout, Adam (advisor)
The goal of this thesis is to design and implement a mobile application for the recording of a car's consumption. The application is made for the Android operating system. It lets the user easily and effectively input new refuel data. Based on this data the application can show the user an overall view of their car's costs. This thesis focuses on the creation of this application, individual stages of design, implementation details and the testing of the application. It also states and analyzes similar existing applications.
Section Speed Measurement for Traffic Analysis
Kubíčková, Pavla ; Špaňhel, Jakub (referee) ; Sochor, Jakub (advisor)
This bachelor thesis focuses on section speed measurement for traffic analysis. This thesis desribes existing methods of detection of license plates and classification of their characters. Methods of cascade classifier and classifier SVM are described in this work. Evaluation of individual parts of the system is processed in the final section.
Detection of Red-Light Violation
Šorf, Milan ; Bartl, Vojtěch (referee) ; Špaňhel, Jakub (advisor)
This thesis is focused on automatic detection of red-light violation using static camera. Theoretical part of the thesis describes the principle of detection and introduces various methods of detecting traffic lights and cars as well as their reliability metrics. The thesis also illustrates implementation of the application for evaluation of these methods.
Vehicle Counting in Still Image
Jelínek, Zdeněk ; Juránek, Roman (referee) ; Špaňhel, Jakub (advisor)
The main goal of this thesis was to compare different approaches to vehicle counting by density estimation. Four convolutional neural networks were tested - Counting CNN, Hydra CNN, Perspective-Aware CNN and Multi-column CNN. The evaluation of these models was done on three different datasets. The Perspective-aware CNN has achieved the most accurate results across all datasets. This model has reached 2.86 Mean Absolute Error on the PUCPR+ dataset, proving that it is the most suitable for the vehicle counting problem.
Mushroom Detection and Recognition in Natural Environment
Steinhauser, Dominik ; Juránek, Roman (referee) ; Špaňhel, Jakub (advisor)
In this thesis is handled the problem of mushroom detection and recognition in natural environment. Convolutional neural networks are used. The beginning of this thesis is dedicated to the theory of neural networks. Further is solved the problem of object detection and classification. Using neural network trained for classification is solved also the task of localization. Results of trained CNNs are analised.
Vehicle License Plate Detection and Recognition Software
Masaryk, Adam ; Hradiš, Michal (referee) ; Špaňhel, Jakub (advisor)
The aim of this bachelor thesis is to design and develop software that can detect and recognize license plates from images. The software is divided into 3 parts - license plates detection, detector output processing and license plates characters recognition. We decided to implement detection and recognition using modern methods using convolutional neural networks.
Detection of Graffiti Tags in Image
Pavlica, Jan ; Hradiš, Michal (referee) ; Špaňhel, Jakub (advisor)
The thesis is focused on the possible utilization of current methods in the area of computer vision with the purpose of automatic detection of graffiti tags in the image. Graffiti tagsare the most common expression of graffiti, which serves as the author’s signature. In the thesis, state-of-the-art detection systems were tested; the most effective one is the Single Shot MultiBox Detector. The result has reached 75.7% AP.
