The main goal of this thesis is a draft, calculation and a review of a construction in accordance with the valid legislation about safety of the machinery. The paper consist of a technical report and a drawn documentation. The technical report deals with design of the splitting machine, calculation of dimensions, strength control of specific parts of the conical splitting machine and a review of the construction in terms of work safety.
High-tilting transport box for mini tractors

The aim of this diploma thesis is design of a high-tilting box for small tractors, used for transport of bulk materials and piece loads in agriculture, forestry, and municipal maintenance. Thesis includes a research of the used solutions of tipping boxes and shovels, design of own concept of the tipping mechanism, choice of a hydraulic motor, strength proof of the main parts using the finite element method, and the design of pins and bearings.
Container trailer

This thesis deals with the design of a container carrier with interchangeable superstructures up to 3000 kg of technical weight. The introduction renders a critical review of similar devices and consecutive review of the device in terms of legislative matters. A dynamic simulation was used to calculate the loaded states. The outcome of the simulation was used to set the border conditions, which were then used for strength analysis calculations using finite element method (FEM). Blueprints of the final design are a part of the thesis.

Estimate of potential output for economy of the Czech Republic: Production function approach

The goal of this thesis is to estimate potential output of the economy of the Czech Republic from 1999 to 2011. In the first chapter I focus on description of the overall product of the economy, introduction and definition, mostly NAIRU approach, of the potential output and several approaches to estimate potential output. Production function is analysed in the following chapter from econometric as well as economic perspective. The most important properties of the production functions are also described in this chapter. In the end of the second chapter I deal with three most common types of production function. Estimated values of the variables in the production function including the value of the potential output of the Czech economy and relevant interpretations are presented in the last chapter of this thesis.
Optimization over the internet

The goal of this thesis is to analyse and evaluate the efficiency of systems used for solving problems of mathematical programming, which are available within the frame of project NEOS (Network Enabled Optimization Server). The most frequent algorithms for solving linear programming and mixed integer programming are described in the beginning of the work -- simplex algorithms, the interior point method, cutting plane method and branch and bound method. These algorithms are used in solvers, which are supported by NEOS server. The efficiency of the algorithms and solvers are tested on collection of chosen problems contained in libraries of NETLIB and MIPLIB.
