Production concept of adjustable holder
Slavík, Tomáš ; Řiháček, Jan (referee) ; Císařová, Michaela (advisor)
The discussed issue was the production of the body of the adjustable universal holder for license plates, blinkers, and reflectors for Yamaha motorcycles. The material chosen for the production of the component was DC01 steel with a thickness of 3 mm and the size of the series is 120 000 pieces per year. After evaluating considered production variants, it was decided that the part will be made in compound tool that combine shearing and bending operations. The part will be produced by four shearing operations, three inter-shearing operations, one bending operation and by shearing the finished component from the sheet metal strip. Sheet metal coil was selected as the semi-finished product, with a material usage rate of 51,46%. Based on technological calculations, it was decided that the eccentric press DM400 from Formetal will be used for production. The tool design with a spring floating guide was chosen and his parameters were derived from previous calculations and the selected production process.

The part is made in five steps, involving shearing and bending technology. A literature review is prepared for the chosen production technologies and then the necessary technological, construction and control calculations are done. The press PE45M from Vaptech company is chosen as the facing machine for the production of the opener, which keeps all the necessary requirements. The insert of the sheet roll into the machine is going to be done with the help of unwinding, straightening and feeding devices.
Manufacturing of the Steering Rod
Velcer, Miroslav ; Štroner, Marek (referee) ; Řiháček, Jan (advisor)
The thesis deals with the design of the production of the lower control arm of the rear axle made of aluminium alloy EN AW-6082 T6 for the Porsche 996. The technology of die forging on screw presses is chosen for the production, which is the focus of the theoretical part of the thesis. At the beginning of the practical part, the manufacturability of the part is evaluated and the basic process parameters such as technological allowances, machining allowances, limit deviations and the shape of the forging groove are determined according to the standards. With the help of a set of cross-sections, the shape of the ideal forging is constructed. Based on it, the dimensions of the forging produced by cross wedge rolling are determined. The selection of cutting and heating of the blank is related to this issue. Based on the determined parameters, a forging tool is constructed. Furthermore, the calculation of the forging force according to Tomlenov is performed, on the basis of which the screw press is selected. To verify the functionality of the forging tool with the given forging die and to analyze the process including the force parameters, numerical simulation is carried out in Simufact Forming software using finite element method.
Manufacturing of a Hand Dryer Cover
Štancl, Oldřich ; Jopek, Miroslav (referee) ; Řiháček, Jan (advisor)
The thesis deals with the design of the hand dryer cover made of stainless steel X5CrNi18-10. The manufactured part has a hollow rectangular shape with a rounded bottom and a constant wall thickness of 1 mm. Due to the simplicity of the shape, material properties and the annual production series of 200,000 pieces, deep drawing technology is chosen for production. The part is produced in one drawing operation, for which the necessary technological and control calculations are performed. Using the calculated parameters, a DIEFFENBACHER PO 250 hydraulic three-acting press is selected. A simple drawing tool is constructed for the machine, whose operation and manufacturability of the cover is subsequently verified using numerical simulation in the PAM-Stamp software.

Vrtiška, Roman ; Peterková, Eva (referee) ; Řiháček, Jan (advisor)
The bachelor thesis is focused on production of car door lock segment, which is made of steel 15CrMo5 with a thickness of 4 mm. Based on the established production quantity of 280 000 pieces per year, the prescribed dimensional accuracy and surface quality of the cutting surface, the technology of fine blanking with vee-ring is chosen. In the practical part of the work, technological controls of the manufactured part are carried out. A coil of the sheet metal as a semi-finished product and cutting plan with the highest percentage utilization were chosen. For established quantity production, 61 pieces of coil weighing 500 kilograms are needed. Based on the technological, control and construction calculations, the tool is constructed, including drawing documentation. Due to the calculated overall force Fc = 1 085,85 kN and the top view area of the tool the triple-action mechanical press XFT 1500speed is chosen. The press is part of the line with the FBA 6/300 coil processing line.
Laser Forming
Kameník, Jan ; Peterková, Eva (referee) ; Řiháček, Jan (advisor)
The work focuses on the use of laser beam in forming. The basic types of solid-state and gas lasers and their interaction with the material are described. It also discusses the possible mechanisms of bending in sheet metal and tubes. Subsequently, the paper discusses analytical and numerical models for determining the magnitude of the bending angle. The final part of the thesis deals with examples of laser-formed products and other possible applications in engineering.
Manufacturing of protecting cover by compound tool
Janáč, Jakub ; Řiháček, Jan (referee) ; Peterková, Eva (advisor)
The master‘s thesis deals with a proposal of the manufacturing of a protective cover, which is sheet metal part with a thickness of 3 mm from the EN AW-3103 alloy. According to the analysis of possible technologies, the most effective option is production in a progressive die. This combines cutting and bending and these technologies are analyzed in a literature study. Based on the assessment of the technology control and control calculations a die is designed. This die produces the part in five steps. As a suitable machine an eccentric press Vaptech PE160MA is chosen.
Manufacturing of start segment by fineblanking technology
Tichoň, Ondřej ; Řiháček, Jan (referee) ; Peterková, Eva (advisor)
The thesis deals with the design of the manufacturing technology of the starting segment, which is used to transmit the torque from the starting lever of the motorcycle. The part is made of steel 11 373 in the form of a sheet with a thickness of 6 mm, and the production series is set at 60,000 pieces per year. As part of the thesis, an innovation was proposed, which consists of cold pressing the shaft into the hole, and thereby eliminating the associated welding operation, speeding up production and making it more precise. Due to the required precision and the size of the series, a fine blanking was chosen for the production of the starting segment. Furthermore, coils of sheet metal were chosen as a semi-finished product, while 19 coils with a diameter of 1400 mm and one incomplete coil with a diameter of 1085 mm are needed to ensure the production series. The total force for cutting out two components in one stroke was determined to be 4680,4 kN. Due to the given strength and dimensions of the sheet metal, a triple-action hydraulic press FB one 7000 was chosen for production. The work also includes a technical-economic evaluation, through which it was found that the given production becomes profitable at 34987 pieces. Therefore, due to the size of the production series, it can be declared that the production is profitable.
