Minimalizace abrazivního opotřebení pomocí tvrdokovových návarů u zemědělských strojů
Bednář, Štěpán
The preparation and processing of land is the primary process in agricultural practice, which leads to the provision of the basic needs of mankind. The operation of racks and machine parts is exposed to negative aspects in these conditions. Tribological influences associated with operation have an impact on the mechanisms of functional parts and cause their abrasive wear. This work deals with the minimization of abrasive wear using carbide welds. Detailed information on the mineralogical properties, size and shape of abrasive particles is summarized in the theoretical part. The chapter also describes the types of materials, heat treatment and welding technology. After that, the characteristics of agricultural machines and machine parts with increased intensity of abrasive wear and methods of renovating parts are described. The experimental part describes the preparation of samples by the fusion welding method and the analysis of the weight loss of the material on the sanding cloth. Using the results, the mechanical properties of the applied carbides are then evaluated.

Scientific report. X-ray tomography of a steel weld
Vopálenský, Michal
X-ray computed tomography was used for visualization of the contact areas in a welded steel joint. The purpose of the tomography was to inspect the joint and analyse possible causes of cracks. The used method proved itself as a suitable one, since the crack was clearly visible on the reconstructed virtual model of the measured part.
Testing of high-temperature corrosion resistance of Inconel 625
Tomek, Jiří ; Sliwková, Petra (referee) ; Zemčík, Oskar (advisor)
The aim of the diploma thesis was to design an experiment for testing the high-temperature corrosion resistance of Inconel 625. The experiment was performed at two (900oC and 975oC) on a total of 6 samples (3 for each temperature). The experiment was performed in a dissolved mixture of salts (35% Na 2 SO 4, 30% KCl and 35% NaCl) in a „PEC Lac PK 105/12“ furnace. Based on the results of individual measurements, experimental parameters and future steps were proposed. The diploma thesis also presents a basic description of the project of which it is a part. Where the project originated and what stage it is at. The project was created based on the requirements of BPP Energy s.r.o. to develop a device for bending pipes made of 16Mo3 material with a weldment from Inconel 625. The results of the diploma thesis are also compared with the results of the same measurement, but for 16Mo3 material. In the research part, the diploma thesis deals mainly with the material Inconel 625. Furthermore, the diploma thesis is focused on high-temperature corrosion resistance, therefore the corrosion process is described. And in the completion, attention is paid to the welding process.
The effect of aluminum age on welding and other technological processes
Hanáková, Anna ; Sigmund, Marian (referee) ; Kubíček, Jaroslav (advisor)
This thesis deals with the investigation of changes in the properties of aluminium alloys with respect to the age of the material. Aluminium alloy EN AW 6060 of different ages was chosen as the tested material. The alloy was in form of shaped or flat extruded profiles provided by company Pars Komponenty, s.r.o. First, a theoretical basics about the properties and division of aluminium and its alloys were presented, their heat treatment and welding options were presented as well. The theoretical part concerning welding focuses mainly on the problems of welding aluminium alloys and defects of the welded joints. In connection with this issue, material tests of basic materials and welded joints are described as a tool for detecting defects and determining the mechanical and technological properties of the material. In the experimental part, the profiles were TIG welded. Next, hardness, tensile, bending and macroscopic tests were performed. The results were technically and economically evaluated.
Development of Transport Cart with Stretcher
Bastl, Dominik ; Císařová, Michaela (referee) ; Řiháček, Jan (advisor)
The diploma thesis deals with the design of a transport gurney with a stretcher for people up to 150 kg. The aim is to design the simplest possible construction of bent and welded pipes and profiles with a thickness of 1.5 and 2 mm from E235+CR1 S2 steel, based on an already functional product on the market, taking into account the commissioning company's available machinery AUDY s.r.o. The theoretical part of the work is devoted to the main production technologies, i.e. bending and welding. A literature search is prepared for the mentioned technologies. Bending is more focused on length of the blank and springback angle. In welding, the weldability of the selected steel is assessed, a suitable welding wire with shielding gas is selected and the process parameters are determined. Theoretical findings are compared with practical outputs. The practical part includes design, prototype production and trial tests to verify the reliability of the new product. Necessary construction and technological calculations with basic drawing documentation are also included.

Design of a welded go-cart frame
Kůřil, Michal ; Izák, Josef (referee) ; Kubíček, Jaroslav (advisor)
The work is focused on the design of a welded go-kart frame. The frame is welded from 32 mm tubes and 2 mm wall thickness. The material 25CrMo4 was chosen as it is widely used for frame structures in motorsport. The CNC CO2 laser was chosen to cut the tubes. Universal welding jigs were chosen due to the single piece production. Furthermore, metallographic tests of three samples were performed. Two were TIG welded, and one was MAG welded. There was chosen an austenitic filling material, which has good tenacity, and it is assumed to provide long lifespan while being mechanically loaded. Also, the Vickers hardness test was done.
