Laboratory device with temperature control
Telecký, Jakub ; Škrabánek, Pavel (referee) ; Němec, Zdeněk (advisor)
This work deals with regulation and procedures that can be used for this. The theoretical part therefore presents the basic concepts of automation and controllers. The main part is the practical part. The purchased system consists of a regulated system, which must be set up correctly. Using system identification and known procedures, sample examples of how to best set the controller are compiled. The result is a sample laboratory task that automation students can try and gain experience with methods of setting up the controller.
Mounting wood splitting machine
Pavluš, Martin ; Pokorný, Přemysl (referee) ; Malášek, Jiří (advisor)
The main aim of the bachelor’s thesis is to work on the design of a mounting wood splitting machine. The design of the splitting machine is based on the specified parameters. The bachelor’s thesis is divided into two main parts. The first part of the bachelor’s thesis is divided into several partial objectives. First, there is created review of woody species, including their technical parameters. At the same time, there is a recherche of known variants of wooden partition structures and design solutions. The second part of the bachelor thesis is a design of a splitting machine, strength analysis and drawing documentation.
High-Level Petri Nets Interpreter in Python
Grigorev, Danil ; Kočí, Radek (referee) ; Janoušek, Vladimír (advisor)
This work is targeting a goal of implementing a high level Petri net interpret in Python. The implementation is based on SNAKES library. The final product is capable of executing and visualising Petri nets, created by user. The simulator is based on distributed systems theory and is executed in real-time. The end user is able to experience a simple and human-friendly API, made for creation and execution of High-Level Petri Nets.
Alternative control SW for dedicated thermal performance chambers with customized UI
Žlebek, Jan ; Veselý, Libor (referee) ; Václavek, Pavel (advisor)
This thesis is oriented on simulating thermal chambers, their SW and HW and improving SW to meet specifications. Testing problematics connected with this thesis is briefly mentioned also. Thermal chambers used here are dedicated to run simulating test procedures for thermostats and similar devices designed to sense temperature and regulate it. Design and realisation of new SW are clarified in latter chapters of this thesis, as well as evaluating functionality and resulting dynamics and accuracy.
Residential Building Renovation
Horn, Jiří ; Stránská, Zuzana (referee) ; Struhala, Karel (advisor)
The aim of this diploma thesis is a renovation of a two-story family house in Dolní Krupá. The original house is from 1935. It has several newer outbuildings such as garage or storage spaces. The walls are made of solid fired bricks. There is a timber joist floor structure. The main building has a gable roof with timber roof truss. The outbuildings have flat and mono-pitched roofs. The reason for the renovation is the inefficiency of the aging building combined with nearing end of life of some building elements. Also, the layout of the building with multiple outbuildings built during its service life does not comply with contemporary housing standards. Therefore, a large part of the building will be demolished and replaced with new structures. Only the load-bearing walls on the first floor of the main building and the part of the building adjacent to the garage will remain. The new layout will consist of two separate apartments (one on each floor). The load-bearing structures will include ceramic masonry and reinforced concrete floor. The roof truss will be made of wood. The original appearance of the object will be preserved. The house will be heated with an air-to-water heat pump installed next to the north facade of the house. Each floor of the house will be air conditioned by a separated air conditioning unit. As the third part of the work, I chose a life cycle assessment (LCA), using several different building materials for a this renovation.
Design of fireplace type stoves
Foltýn, Jakub ; Rubínová, Dana (referee) ; Zvonek, Miroslav (advisor)
This bachelor`s thesis concerns with a design project of contemporary woodburning stove intended to burn solid fuels especially wood based fuels. It aims to advantages of home heating and tries to analyse dilemma of heating devices from historical, technical and design point of view. The outcome of this thesis is simple, modern and shape-interesting project of the stove which in the same time leaves traditional character to the stove. The study contains text part, 3D model, summary poster and real prototype of the stove.

Recognition quality of atmospere in towns and in areas with big resource of polluted air.
HRDÝ, Vojtěch
In this thesis, my objective was to determine the amount of air pollutants in cities of Ostrava and Ceske Budejovice and compare the differences of their content in the atmosphere of these locations. The theoretical part deals with the types of pollutants that occur in the atmosphere, their origin, characteristics and their possible toxic effects on the human body and the environment. Furthermore, there is an overview of the methods used for assessing air quality, prevention of air pollution and reducing the level of pollution, so as to reduce risks to human health caused by air pollution, to reduce the environmental burden substance reaching into the air and damaging ecosystems and create conditions for the recovery of components environmental affected by air pollution. To assess the air quality in both locations, I used the method of "secondary data analysis" of publicly available data published by the Czech Hydrometeorological Institute. From these data, I created graphs that compare the air quality in Ostrava in the Ceske Budejovice in the period 15. 8. 2016 - 15. 3. 2017 in all measured categories. For completeness, the work embedded graphs comparing the two cities on the 15th day of the month within a single pollutant. From the results it is evident that these two cities are in many ways similar. The assumption that the city of Ostrava is still a city with the worst air is no longer current.
