Thema works: Evaluation of body parameters and performance of elite word-class female hurdlers in the period 2003 - 2022 Aims: The main objective of this study is to compare and evaluate the accumulated results of female finalists in the 100 m hurdles from 2003 to the present, covering a period of 20 years, followed by a comparison of performances in the Olympic Games and world Championships. A secondary objective is to record basic body parameters (height, body weight and Body Mass Index) of the finalists in individual global sporting events (Olympic Games and world Championships). Methodology: We focused on comparing and evaluating the accumulated data of female finalists in the 100m hurdles from 2003 to 2022 in the World Championships and Olympic Games. From each World Championship and Olympic Games, we selected the finalists of the 100 m hurdles (the fastest 8 athletes). We collected information on the WCH, OH, times, rankings, and anthropometric characteristics (height, body weight, and Body Mass Index). Furthermore, we processed the data based on basic statistical characteristics, particularly mean, standard deviations, minimum and maximum values of the performances. We compared all of this data among each other. In the supplementary section, we created tables that serve as source data, while...
Analysis athletic beginnings of internationally successful Czech athletes in combined events
MAŠKOVÁ, Monika
The purpose of the thesis is to analyse the athletic beginnings of internationally successful Czech (Czechoslovak) multi - event competitors. The analytical part deals with an issue of combined events (decathlon, heptathlon) using specialized literature and also an outline of historical and current multi - event competitors. Furthermore this thesis deals with a multi - combat typology or a matter of early specialization and training related to the development. Ensemble of Czech (Czechoslovak) international important multi -combatants and their characteristics is described in the synthetic part. Internationally important multi-combatants stand for those who completed multi-combat at an international athletic event. The ensemble is divided into groups according to whether they won a medal, whether they participated in an international event or whether they were successful in both of the youth and adult categories. Basic bio and information about sports beginnings is added to each multi-event competitor. Furthermore, their performance from the beginning of their multi-combat career till the end is shown in the graph and tables. One of the main findings of thesis is that multi - event competitors from a selected ensemble were initially engaged in different sport or in another sport aktivity in combination with athletics. The outcome of this diploma thesis serves the purpose of identification of various possibilities for further athletic career development. The content of the diploma thesis can explain some facts. This diploma provides context in the performance development of the best multi - event competitors in the Czech Republic.

Komínková, Linda ; Vindušková, Jitka (advisor) ; Feher, Jan (referee)
Performance progression and training for heptathlon Objectives: This bachelor thesis deals with my personal performance progression and training in basic and special period of heptathlete training. We will evaluate my own training plans from year 2003 to year 2010. Tasks: The aim of this work is to evaluate and to judge my personal performance development. From the analysis of my training plans we want to find out the cause of my early stagnation and decreasing performance in athletic heptathlon. Methods: This work uses methods of analysis and comparison. Results: We found that the highest performance was when I was fifteen. Early performance stagnation in 2008-2009 was caused by unsystematic training and too week training impulses in view of previous years. The next decrease performance in 2009-20010 was due to low training load and loss of weight. Keywords: athletic heptathlon, basic and special period of heptathelete training, performance progression, stagnation and decreasing performance

TECHNIQUE PROBLEMS IN WOMEN COMBINED EVENTS Objectives: The aim of this work is to describe and find out the mistakes of technique in each technical event of heptathlon. The next goal of this analysis was estimating technical levels of competitress's technical performance with attempt about correction of technical performance. Targets: Gathering of required documentation - letters and records of athletic training and previous seasons' competitions. (training diaries, videorecordings and analysis completed with own memories and experiences.) Further is a formation and comparison of photo sequences made from loaded videorecordings. Methods: In our thesis we used a method of analysis and a method of comparison. We apllied the method of analysis in each event and the method of comparison in comparing of the photo sequences in one event or searching of common signs and mistakes of technical performance. Results: We found out the mistakes in competitress's technical performance of heptathlon's events. We confirmed that the discipline with smallest efficiency contain biggest (basic) mistakes in technical performance, and this discipline was trained in youth infrequently. We found out similar mistakes of technique, that are detect in all disciplines. We found out low differentiation in competitress's...

Author: Bc. Eliška Klučinová Title: HEPTATHLONIST'S TRAINING Objectives: The main objective of this work is to evaluate my own performance development in relation to the training completed. This work is focused mainly on the year 2014, in which the Czech record was broken. The second objective is to compare and evaluate the composition of the training under the guidance of three different coaches and to evaluate the entire career of the heptathlete. Methods: This work uses methods of analysis and comparison. Results: The analysis of performance development discloses a gradual increase in performance in relation to the training completed. During the analysis of the training macrocycle 2013/2014, possible causes of the increase in performance were found, especially in the explosive strength training. When comparing individual coaching approaches certain insufficiencies and advantages in the composition of training and training methods were revealed. A power-oriented training was the most suitable considering my somatotype. Conclusion: In my career, I managed to reach my maximum in European and world competition (3rd place EAICH 2015, 4th place WAICH 2018, 7th place WACH 2013). The main limits, due to which I did not achieve better results, were mainly insufficient level of speed skills and health...

Odvárková, Lucie ; Vindušková, Jitka (advisor) ; Komínková, Linda (referee)
Title: Training and performance development of female heptathlete Objectives: The main objective of balchelor thesis is to evaluate my own performance development in connection with the completed training. The second objective is to mainly compare with the top czech heptathletes Eliška Klučinová and Kateřina Cachová and also with the heptathlete and UK FTVS student Linda Komínková. Methods: The methods of qualitative analysis, comparative method, self-analysis and self- reflection have been used in the thesis. Results: In the performance analysis, we found that the highest performance was achieved at the age of 22, i.e. in 2018. During the comparison of my results against the results of Eliška Klučinová and Kateřina Cachová I found that the highest performance differences have began to manifest in the specialized stage of training. During the comparison of my results with Linda Komínková I have found that my speed assumptions began to manifest at the turn of the basic and specialized stage, when I gradually started winning against Linda in speed disciplines. On the contrary, I have come to the conclusion that the strength disciplines have never been my strong side. Keywords: athletics, heptathlon, training, performance, self-analysis
