Návrh obnovy roubeného domu
Zadina, Vojtěch
This thesis focuses on the design of the restoration of a log building in the village of Desná, near the Souš Dam in the Jizera Mountains. The appearance of the object and its construction are described in detail. The described functional units and details are supplemented with photographs. Based on visual assessment and instrumental measurements, the condition of the structure is described in the thesis, and necessary repairs and modifications are proposed for future use of the building. Drawing documentation is prepared according to the author's own survey, and photographic documentation is also provided. The thesis will serve as a basis for planning necessary repairs or as inspiration for the implementation of a new attic conversion.
Plumlov – Vytvoření nové bytové jednotky v RD
Laník, Ondřej
The bachelor thesis focuses on the creation of a new independent housing unit in a family house in the city of Plumlov. The thesis primarily deals with the second floor and the attic. It was necessary to carry out a general survey of the building and to determine the current state of the building structures. To select the optimum conversion, five variants of modification of the existing family house using wooden structures were proposed. The most suitable option for the reconstruction was elaborated in the drawings and supplemented with a description of the structural design with the required technical calculations, proposals for the composition of the structures and the new roof truss. The created documentation respects the applicable standards and legislative requirements in the Czech Republic. An integral part of the work is a proposal for the modification of the main staircase area including the induced changes of the whole building.
Reconstruction of Damaged Parts of Fingerprint Image Using Neural Nets
Bobocký, Boris ; Dyk, Tomáš (referee) ; Kanich, Ondřej (advisor)
In this paper, I propose a method for reconstructing damaged fingerprints using generative adversarial networks (GANs), implemented with Python and the PyThorch library. I have trained a specific GAN model on a dataset of approximately twenty thousand prints, created with Anguli and other damage simulation tools. This approach produced excellent results and could have wide application in biometric systems. This work highlights the potential of deep learning in the fields of image reconstruction and biometrics.
Determination of the Amount of Return of a House in Uherský Brod
Šnajdar, Martin ; Sadílek, Augustin (referee) ; Klika, Pavel (advisor)
This diploma thesis describes the impact of work performed on a family house and a comparison of this impact on its market value. The theoretical part defines the basic concepts of literature and legislation. The house in the town of Uherský Brod in the condition before reconstruction was chosen. In the practical part, the usual prices before the reconstruction were calculated. The reconstruction of the house was proposed and the construction costs were calculated by an aggregated budget. The usual price of similar properties after reconstruction was determined using the real estate database.
Porta Coeli complex - new use of selected objects
Ovsak, Artem ; Žalmanová, Petra (referee) ; Boleslavská, Yvona (advisor)
The subject of the master's thesis was the development of an architectural study and proposal for the new utilization of historical buildings in the Porta Coeli complex in Předklášteří near Tišnov. The complex consists of several buildings, but the focus of the work was on the key ones. Currently, three sisters reside in the monastery, utilizing the first and second quadratures and having access to the monastery garden. The third quadrature is used by volunteer groups who assist in the maintenance of the monastery and occasionally contribute to the production of local products such as must, preserves, and honey. One floor of this quadrature has already been reconstructed. In the future, the space of the former laundry is planned to be utilized as accommodation for employees, with a change in its function to a production area being implemented as part of the project. The former sheepfold will be transformed into a multifunctional space intended for various types of events. Currently serving as a sawmill, it is economically most advantageous for the monastery council. The reconstructed former granary will have accommodation functions, and its location near the water increases its attractiveness and generates investment interest in its reconstruction. The design also includes the placement of an amphitheater on the slope next to the granary and sheepfold. The utilization concept shows that these two structures will be closely interconnected, and the amphitheater, along with the modified space, will serve as a meeting place for various events, such as weddings, conferences, or celebrations. An important aspect is that the shape of the amphitheater will follow the slope, helping to perceive the space, surroundings, and allowing visitors an uninterrupted view of nature. As part of the work, an extension to the second quadrature was also proposed, intended to serve the staff of a future rehabilitation center. The concept focuses on utilizing the second quadrature as a rehabilitation center for athletes and ordinary visitors. The center includes short-term accommodation, a dining area, medical offices, and facilities for the staff. The connection with nature, peaceful location, and aesthetic and mental harmony contribute to the faster recovery of visitors. The former carriage house is currently used as sanitary facilities, while most of the building remains unused. Preliminary plans consider its future use either as a smaller production space or as a storage facility for the purposes of the museum and the monastery. An extensive intervention in the restoration of the forecourt of the former sheepfold will be carried out. Various elements will be placed here, such as a labyrinth and other recreational zones. The design also included modifications to the outdoor space, the creation of new parking capacities, and reinforced surfaces.
Reconstruction of the weir on the Kyjovka river
Maxa, Lukáš ; Duchan, David (referee) ; Julínek, Tomáš (advisor)
This bachelor thesis deals with the study of the reconstruction of the weir on the river Ky-jovka. The reconstruction is on the site of the former draw door weir. The first part of the thesis deals with a general description of the weirs, their parts and explanation of the formu-las used for the design, followed by the selection of a suitable type of movable weir structu-re. The second part describes the area of interest and the separate design of the reconstructi-on. The mathematical calculations are presented, the design parameters are described and determined. For the reconstruction of the weir, water abstraction by the weir for the supply of the by-pass channel in the Kyjov city park was proposed.
The asssessment of reconstruction of damaged building by tornado disaster.
Došková, Veronika ; Doležalová, Monika (referee) ; Čech, Josef (advisor)
The diploma thesis deals with the assessment of the reconstruction of a building damaged by a tornado. The first part is focused on basic terms from the field of real estate valuation and describes the issue at a theoretical level. It deals with the general procedure for dealing with property damage. It also considers a concrete solution to the situation of damage to a house by a tornado in the Czech republic in 2021. The practical part deals with the assessment of the feasibility of reconstruction or construction of a new house. The requirements for the reconstruction of a specific object are stated in the work. Subsequently, an itemized budget is drawn up, which calculates the costs of the reconstruction of the assessed building. For comparison, the second option is proposed, namely the demolition of the remains of the house and the construction of a new house. The goal of the work is to evaluate whether it is more profitable for the owner of the building to invest in the reconstruction of the damaged building, or rather to remove the damaged building and build a completely new building.
The advantage of investment in the construction of a new and renovation of an obsolete building at the same standard
Sedláček, Martin ; Čech, Josef (referee) ; Pokorná, Sofie (advisor)
In the diploma thesis, the author deals with the answer to the question whether it is more economically advantageous for a specific investor to renovate his current property or to demolish and build a new one. In the thesis, the author will analyze the real estate market in the given location, based on which he will compile a database of sold and advertised real estate. He will use the comparative and cost method of asset valuation to achieve the result, and at the end of the work he will discuss the results, which he will evaluate and summarize in the conclusion chapter.
