Diploma thesis deals with evaluation of company performance. The opening part describes the theoretical points, which is followed by introduction of the company. Using the financial analysis methods the financial condition of the company is evaluated. The results are compared to other five competitors. In the closing part are suggested recommendations to improve company performance.

The objective of this thesis is to propose an investment recommendation in shares of selected airlines based on fundamental analysis. The theoretical part of the thesis describes the basics of investing. To select the best company there was used several intercompany comparison methods, which are based on assessment indicators. The result is an investment recommendation in the form of determining the order of profitability of individual companies.

The diploma thesis focuses on finding and identification of performance factors of the company by means of intercompany comparisons methods. It analyzes the company which operates in the field of information and communication technologies and is compared with companies in related field of national economy. The performance factors of the company are selected by means of correlation analysis, which influences the performance of the company, afterwards there are compared the positions selected of companies by means of intercompany comparison methods in particular years.

Proposals leading to the improvement of the company’s financial situation are suggested based on the financial analysis of the company and on comparison of basic financial indicators with another rival breweries.

The subject of this thesis on fundamental equities analysis, which is considered one of the most commonly used methods for valuing securities, is to make the best investment in the chosen field into the selected equity companies. In the first part of the thesis there is a brief outline of other types of analysis together with other theoretical approaches but the main problem to be solved is the fundamental analysis. The second part is devoted to the selection and characterization of joint-stock companies of the same field and then selecting assessment indicators. The third part deals with the analysis of individual companies using selected methods of intercompany comparison from two different points of view. The final part conveys the comparison of selected methods of intercompany comparisons for both points of view and the proposal of the most suitable investment.

Financial analysis of the company

This bachelor thesis's main goal is to perform a financial analysis of the Company Lovato Electric Ltd. and the intercompany comparison. An aim of the bachelor thesis is to review financial situation of the Company Lovato Electric Ltd. and to draw up how to eliminate potential sources of inefficiency. The company's results were compared with selected companies. Next goal is to compare chosen company with intercompany comparison. The first part of the thesis defines the importance and objectives of financial analysis, users, the sources and the basic methods. Another part of the thesis was focused on the financial analysis of Lovato Electric Ltd. for 2013-2017 using basic methods: absolute indicators, ratio indicators, pyramid breakdown of return on equity, IN95, IN05 and Kralick's Quicktest. Then, an intercompany comparison was performed using a scoring method. The conclusion of the thesis is to evaluate the financial situation of the company and propose options to eliminate any inefficiency.

The Assessment of the Financial Health of Jednota Tábor

The aim of the diploma thesis is to evaluate the financial health of the Jednota Tábor business cooperative from 2011 to 2015 using methods of financial analysis and inter-comparison comparison and possible recommendations for improvement of its financial situation. The thesis is classically divided into two basic parts, theoretical-methodological and practical. The first part of the thesis explains the basic concepts related to the topic of financial analysis and describes the basic methods of assessing the financial situation. At the end of this part of the thesis are presented the methods of intercompany comparison. In the second part of the thesis, the theoretical and methodological points are applied on a practical example, namely the trade union Jednota Tábor. For better information ability, the results are compared with the results of the Jednota Jindřichův Hradec consumer association and the results of the industry. The conclusion of the work is summary of the results, evaluation of financial health and suggestion of recommendations for possible improvement.
