Existing state-of-the art and development tendencies of methods and technologies in the field of aircraft movement control along aerodrome surface
Zubrvalčík, Jan ; Šplíchal, Miroslav (referee) ; Vosecký, Slavomír (advisor)
This diploma thesis deals with navigation on airport surface. In thesis there are described main surveillance systems, which are used for navigation on airport surface and systems for prediction and avoiding collisions. For all systems is listed principle of action, their usage, advantages and disadvantages and informations, which are provided by these systems. In last chapter there are compared properties of main surveillance systems.
Design of tube marking equipment
Pavelka, David ; Tůma, Jiří (referee) ; Pavlík, Jan (advisor)
The goal of this bachelor thesis is construction design of device used for tubing signing, used to insulate conductors in electromotors. Thesis is based on close cooperation with Motors Leroy Somer company. Practical part is focused on choosing and designing the most appropriate variant of device with respecting specified requirements such is financial budget, maximal size of placement in hall and simplicity during manipulating with device.
Checking of Vehicle Identifiers
Motúz, Ondřej ; Panáček, Vladimír (referee) ; Motl, Jakub (advisor)
Diploma thesis is focused on identifiers of vehicles and their parts. The thesis gives an overview about available identifiers situated on the vecihles. Further more the thesis deal with potentional forgery and altering of identifiers and as a next shows potentional ways how to detect a manipulation with them. Practipal part of thesis includes a proposal of methodology for checking vehicles based on identifiers. There was also created a cathalogue of the Skoda vehicles. It gives an overview of identifiers for selected vehicles of the brand Skoda.
Industrial Application of Laser Technology Focusing on Machining and Surfacing
Merenda, Petr ; Dvořák, Jaromír (referee) ; Slaný, Martin (advisor)
The topic focuses on implementation of the laser technologies onto machining operations, especially in the field of marking. In general, the work deals with problems of laser engraving of data matrix codes in car production. A special attention is devoted to the YAG and CO2 lasers. Experimental part of the work deals with results of laser engraving applied in the process of tampon printing.
Construction of tires
Sýkora, Tomáš ; Hejtmánek, Petr (referee) ; Zháňal, Lubor (advisor)
The aim of this bachelor thesis is to describe the construction of tires and to compare construction of vehicles of the different categories. The first part describes the historical development, basic characteristics and forces that affect on the wheel of the vehicle. Furthermore, the construction of the tire is analyzed in detail and the method of marking the tires is explained. The second part of the thesis is focused on the differences in tire construction of individual vehicles categories such as single-track, passenger, truck and racing. In conclusion, some construction alternatives are mentioned and the future development of tires is estimated.
The study of identification and control equipment for material handling in logistics
Vágner, Ladislav ; Pokorný, Přemysl (referee) ; Hloska, Jiří (advisor)
In the first chapter of the barchlor´s thesis focuses on differences and description of the most widely used barcodes and scanners. This chapter describes also newly developed barcode – bocode. The second chapter deals with the radio frequency identification technology. Next chapters are about a production technology of barcodes and explain the functioning principle and possibilities of their usage. In conclusion there is provided a comparison of one–dimensional barcodes, marking technology and types of lasers.
Major industrial accidents in the Czech Republic - accident analysis of LPG
Maťa, Jakub ; MBA, Petr Bulíček, (referee) ; Kotek, Luboš (advisor)
The first part of diploma thesis focuses on the characteristics of LPG accidents, their prevention, evaluation and manifestations, the understanding of which is a key prerequisite for statistical evaluation. Next, attention is paid to the characteristics of LPG, which is complemented by safety and identification of the substance and a survey of LPG storage together with protection and safety zones. The main part of the thesis describes individual LPG accidents in the Czech Republic between 2003 and 2022, which are evaluated by the ESIA method and the ISAAC causal model. Finally, a statistical evaluation and a proposal for a correctional measure together with its economic evaluation is made.
Intraspecific communication in rodents with a special focus on the model genus Rattus
Rychtecká, Eliška ; Rudolfová, Veronika (advisor) ; Vojtěchová, Iveta (referee)
The genus Rattus includes several dozen species. Among the most significant that I am focusing on in this work are the Norway rat (Rattus norvegicus), the black rat (Rattus rattus) and the Polynesian rat (Rattus exulans). Representatives of these species are social animals inhabiting different enviroments, whether they are tree canopies or burrow systems. Intraspecific communication of rodents is very diverse, specifically in the genus Rattus. According to the types of signals, intraspecific communication can be divided into acoustic, visual, tactile or chemical. We can distinguish multimodal communication as a special chapter, where signals from different modalities occur together, interwine or are gradually added to each other. Individual species of the genus Rattus can differ in the form of signals. Furthermore these signals also differ between individual sexes so we could set apart communication between males and females during mating. Key words: rodents, norway rat, black rat, communication, signal, vocalization, posture, marking
Marking of rainbow trout with Alizarin
Halačka, Karel ; Mareš, J. ; Poštulková, E. ; Malý, O.
Method of using alizarin red (ARS) for mass-marking of rainbow trout was verified and optimized. Based on the results, it was possible to create methodological recommendations for marking individuals of rainbow trout using ARS: 1. Marking can be used shortly after hatching (around 14 days) since the fin rays are sufficiently developed or calcified. The standard application time and solution concentration (1 hour, 150 mg/l) can be used if the expected detection time of marker is around 4-5 weeks. It is necessary to increase the application time on 3 hours in order to distinguish individuals 2-3 months after marking. There was no evidence of a negative effect of the dye on rainbow trout individuals (mortality) or a change in chemistry (pH, conductivity, oxygen saturation of water) within standard concentrations and application time and economic parameters. The use of Alizarin red can significantly reduce financial (around 1 CZK/individual) and time requirements for fish marking. When compared with other types of marking, costs can be reduced to 10 percent (or less) and time-consuming (meaning labor costs) can be reduced to several percent. Another advantage that is difficult to quantify is benefit from information obtained by marking on the farms.
Multivariate Cox point processes
Kuželová, Noemi ; Dvořák, Jiří (advisor) ; Prokešová, Michaela (referee)
The Log-Gaussian Cox process is an important example of the use of spatial modeling and spatial statistics in practice. It is useful for describing many real-world situations, from modeling tree growth in the rainforests, to trying to understand the occurrence of precipitation and earthquakes, to examining the expansion of the Greenland seal pop- ulation. In this work we focus mainly on the multivariate form of this point process. Specially in such form that allows to describe at the same time inhomogeneity, clus- tering and environmental effects in the investigated system. When the parameters of multivariate LGCP process are estimated, the minimum contrast method is usually used. However, we investigate the possibility of using composite likelihood estimation instead. We consider the composite likelihood criterion as a limit of the likelihoods in approxi- mating discrete models. We compare it with an established approach of constructing the composite likelihood based on multiplication of likelihoods for pairs of points. 1
