Title of the thesis Game as a means of developing mediation Abstract in English This diploma thesis focuses on the theme of game as a means of developing mediation. In the theoretical part it discusses the notion of mediation, its concept in the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages and its Companion Volume, the means and forms of mediation, the importance of mediation in foreign languages teaching. Major emphasis is placed on theme of mediation activities (mediation communication, mediating a text, mediating concepts). Moreover, the theoretical part concerns the issus of games, their definition from a didactic point of view and points to the mutual aspects of games and mediation. In the practical part, it focuses on analysis of specific games developing mediation. The games are classified according to what mediation activity they develop. For each game it is described minutely how it develops the given mediation activity. These games could be used as teaching materials for teachers or be an inspiration for their own formation. Managerial Competencies in Small Enterprises

The dissertation thesis dealt with the managerial competencies in the small manufacturing enterprises in the Czech Republic. The research aimed to examine the current level of these competencies on the sample of top managers of those enterprises. The chosen topic is topic of current importance due the competency development for enhancing the managerial performance. The thesis elaboration was based on the detailed literature review of national and international publications in the respected scientific journals, and on the in-depth analyses conducted through the primary researches. The main objective of the dissertation thesis was to detect the competency level of top managers in the small manufacturing enterprises in the context of business management and to identify the key variables influencing the discovered competency level and on the basis of research findings provide recommendations for further competency development. The main objective was supported with four partial objectives and five research hypotheses. On the basis of results of executed pilot research on managerial competencies the model of managerial competencies was established, and further verified in the author’s primary research. Within the data analysis and data evaluation, the competency level was formed. The dependences of competencies on examined variables were tested empirically. Those variables were sex, length of current and total practice, age, ownership and education. The aggregated research results were compared with the literature review and based on this comparison, the recommendations for further managerial competency level improvement were provided. The conclusions and further research aims form the integral part of the dissertation thesis.

The goal of my bachelor's thesis is the identification of cultural differences, which are influencing Czech and American managers. I am dealing with a question of national culture, sight on Czech Republic and United States of America. I am dealing with a question of corporational culture and with a question of intercultural management as well. For analysis of these topics I used theoretical knowledge and questionnaire inquiry. The outcome of my thesis is a suggestion of culturally symptomatic style of management for Czech and American managers in international environment.

The thesis deals with the optimization of the use of corporate structures to increase the performance of the organization and the achievement of corporate objectives. The thesis analyzes the job in a company in terms of product characteristics, activities, conditions, actions and assumptions activities. The thesis includes an analysis of skills and competencies of individual employees. The design elements are formulated descriptions of new jobs and their integration into corporate structures, proposals for re-training, training and termination of employment with the company staff. The economic evaluation of the thesis are clearly summarized the calculations of costs and benefits.

Thesis aims to propose increasing the competitiveness of consulting firm that offers accounting, tax and management consulting through extending the range of products offered by the administration of incoming invoices of their clients. The aim of this study also suggest a system of administration of invoices received consultancy clients in order to minimize strain on the client's employees and authorized persons while enabling continuous work with these documents. The proposed solution can be applied for all types of organizations and structures.
