System for Autonomous Navigation of Toy Car on a Race Track
Katrušák, Jaroslav ; Bidlo, Michal (referee) ; Šimek, Václav (advisor)
The goal of this project is the implementation of a system for autonomous control of a toy car model on a racetrack. First part of this project is a study of typical ways of laying out a racetrack for the movement of a model car and a follow-up study of possible ways of implementing the autonomous movement of the model on the racetrack. The next part is devoted to the hardware and software side of the implementation of the proposed system. The penultimate part presents the proposed system for obstacle detection, it's implementation and resulting properties. The last part of the project presents the final implementation of an autonomous model capable of independent driving on a set racetrack, reading signs and reaction to obstacle located on the track.
FPGA IP core for Sony IMX sensor interface
Musil, Milan ; Kováč, Michal (referee) ; Kubíček, Michal (advisor)
The diploma thesis deals with the implementation of the SLVS-EC interface into the FPGA. This interface is used in new SONY’s image sensors for high-speed data transmission. The introduction contains a description of the interface, its possible configurations and comparison with the sub LVDS interface used so far. This is followed by the selection of a suitable MPSoC with the Zynq Ultrascale+ architecture with focus to its hardware resources for receiving a high/speed signal. The main part of this thesis deals with the design of receiver for the SLVS-EC interface and decoding of the data. The raw image data is then stored in external RAM. At the end of this thesis is described the chosen methods of testing partial parts and overall design.
Roughness Measurement With Laser Profilometry
Mach, Radoslav
The project deals with technology of laser profilometry for material roughness measurements purposes. The focus of this work is measuring roughness parameters of materials, such as metal with using of different types of laser emmited light. Results demonstrate correlation between the wavelengths of the used laser lights with measurement accurancy.
Development of high resolution RGB camera
Roughness measurement with laser profilometry
Mach, Radoslav ; Frk, Martin (referee) ; Hejátková, Edita (advisor)
The bachelor thesis deals with technology of laser profilometry for material roughness measurements purposes. The theoretical part deals with all aspects of the issue in an effective way and highlights the essential characteristics of used components and material roughness. The focus of this work is in first step to describe the external factors affecting the visual image processing such as increasing of environment temperature and its effect for a camera sensors. And particularly the relationship between CMOS and CCD technologies. The second step is for measuring roughness parameters of materials, such as metal, wood, rubber and plastic with three different lasers. Results demonstrate correlation between the wavelengths of the used laser lights with particular materials.
HDR Tone-Mapping
Vančura, Jan ; Mlích, Jozef (referee) ; Seeman, Michal (advisor)
This thesis concerns with the introduction to the problematics of images with high dynamic range (HDR) and possibilities of HDR images compression options for display on devices with a low dynamic range (LDR). In the introduction is described historical evolution of recording of reality. It is focusing towards point of view of physics, human visual perception and digital recording. There are described the ways of generating and holding of HDR images. The thesis is corncerned to the techniques of HDR compression, it means the tone-mapping. The different techniques of tone-mapping are explained and specific aproach is targeted to the gradient domain high dynamic range compresion.
Image sensor signal data processing
Růžička, Jakub ; Macháň, Ladislav (referee) ; Žák, Jaromír (advisor)
This diploma thesis deals with an image capturing by a CMOS image sensor and controlling of graphical LCD displays using specialized integrated circuits. A theoretical research on the topic and design of the system designed for ease of processing, transmitting and still images displaying based on this research is described in this work. The output of the work is complete the device realized.
