Using Theatre as a Didactic Tool for History Lessons in the Pays de la Loire Region

Klára Paseková Abstract This thesis describes the advantages of using theater play as a didactic tool for history teaching, with specific examples from the area of Pays de la Loire, France. The special role of school externist in the context of French schools is introduced, as well as the specific place of drama play as a motivational and educational tool in connection with the subject of history. Using the example of the play Mystère sur les quais de Nantes, the usefulness of the theater play for explaining complex history concept is demonstrated. Materials for history teachers include preparation instructions, the play itself and materials for subsequent discussion session with the author Mme Le Fahler and workshop. Further analysis illustrates the specifics of creating a play for the purpose of teaching history. Narrating an event: Representation of East German revolution 1989 in novel "Helden wie wir" and the historical monography "Die revolution von 1989 in der DDR"

This work deals with the techniques of historical and counterfactual representation of East German revolution 1989 in the novel Helden wie wir and the historical monograph Endspiel: Die Revolution von 1989 in der DDR. The work describes the functions of the techniques by a narratological and hermeneutical approach. The analysis is focused on the transformations of historical and subjective time in the specific time of narratives.
The Jewish community in Třebíč 1850-1930

This diploma thesis deals with development and changes of Jewish religious and political community in Třebíč. In the first part of thesis there are reminded basic historical facts of both the Jews and the town of Třebíč. These historical facts should point out to historical situation, in which and thanks to which the Jews lived. The thesis also presents overall characteristic of the Jewish community, it also outlines the self-government of this community. The thesis describes also religious, ethnic and national structure of inhabitants of the Jewish district. The thesis describes the Jews and their jobs according to the historical and religious realities and connections, as well. In the final part of this theses a partial insight into the life of the Jews of Třebíč is attempted, in connection with their changed position after the year 1848.Examples of irreconcilability of the non ? Jewish part of inhabitants are also included. At the end of the thesis a chapter about the architecture of the Jewish community is added.
