Author: Martin Procházka Title: Objectification and differences of strength and speed in young elite soccer players Objective: The main aim of this bachelor thesis is to objectify and compare selected strength and speed abilities in young elite football players of the U16 category at AC Sparta Prague club. A sub-objective of this work is to compare the results within the tested group of players and provide an overall comparison of the measured data. Methods: The research sample consisted of 21 players. Laboratory testing included the diagnosis of body composition, measurement of thigh muscle strength, and testing explosive strength of the lower limbs. Field testing comprised a 5 m, 10 m, and 30 m sprint acceleration test, a 5-0-5 agility test, and a maximal 20 m linear sprint test. Results: The analysis of players showed significant disparities in the strenght of the anterior and posterior thigh muscles. Goalkeepers excelled in tests of explosive strenght in the lower limbs. In measurements of acceleration speed, forwards achieved the best times, while defenders exhibited slower results. Overall, there is a notable variability in the movement abilities of players depending on their positions on the field. Find out possible differences between players with different levels of motor coordination in the slalom test with a ball and in the speed test with a change of direction. Methods: We used the method of observation and measurement for data collection. We used a form of field testing for the observations. The research group consisted of 90 football players in the preparation categories (U6, U7, U8, U9, U10 a U11) in the football club SK Slavia Prague. The Körperkoordinationtest für Kinder (KTK) test battery was used to determine the level of motor coordination. This test battery contains 4 tests from which the motor quotient can be calculated. Comparison of the media image of Martin Fenin in the Czech Republic and Germany
Schuster, Michael ; Lukšů, David (advisor) ; Macková, Veronika (referee)
This bachelor thesis consists of two parts. The first part is the practical part, which deals with a comparison of the media image of football player Martin Fenin in the Czech Republic and Germany, the two countries where he spent the main parts of his career. The comparison is based on the print media and compares the Czech and German view between the tabloid newspapers Blesk and Bild, as well as between the quality media Mlada fronta Dnes and the German Die Welt. The practical part of the work is supplemented by interviews with experts from the Czech and German media scene. As a very talented player, Martin Fenin had the promise to become one of the best football players Czech football has ever had. Due to injuries, but also due to many scandals and activities incompatible with a career of a professional athlete, his steeply rising career gradually started to take a downward trend and his talent remained unfulfilled. Due to the ongoing scandals, he is perceived by part of the public as a tabloid celebrity rather than as a top athlete. The second part is the theoretical part, which is the basis for the practical part and understanding it is central to the practical part.

Bláža, Lukáš ; Zahálka, František (advisor) ; Buzek, Mario (referee)
Title: Selected parameters of fitness assesment of elite young soccer players Objectives: This work identifies selected parameters of the fitness readiness of young elite soccer players. Additionally, we describe terrain motor tests focusing on the metrics of speed, dexterity, and agility, amongst others. Finally, we describe the results of the tests and analyze the speed capabilities and individual indicators by using the motor terrain tests. Methods: Subjects were studied using field testing specific to soccer. Participants were elite soccer players under 16 years old who were in the national selection. The subjects attended a measurement at national level with artificial grass, the standard playing conditions. We investigated the speed capabilities of each player, followed by a statistical evaluation of the results using computer programs. Results: The individuals tested showed very good condition parameters, forming a homogeneous assemblage. An analysis of the players' motor test performances determined their speed abilities. It was found that at single speeds in various sections of a run, which the players achieve during a twenty meter run, the curve of acceleration rises and plateaus as they start to maintain their speed. Keywords: football, youth, tests, speed, agility

Kalous, Tomáš ; Ortová, Nina (advisor) ; Halada, Jan (referee)
This bachelor thesis examines the rebranding of SK Slavia Prague in 2022, with a focus on the opinions and perspectives of supporters on the new visual identity. Although the change of visual identity was positively welcomed by professionals, Slavia Praha did not publish any investigation to confirm or refute whether this was the same for the target group in the form of fans. This thesis consists of three parts - the theoretical background, branding of sports clubs and the research, which first provide an insight into brand management issues and then describe in more detail the branding of selected sports clubs from home and abroad, including rebranding of SK Slavia Prague in 2022 and its influence on marketing communication of the club. The research section presents a description of the research and a presentation of the analysis of the results, which were conducted using an open coding method after individual in-depth interviews. In the discussion, the author provides insight into the perception of the new identity by the primary target audience of the club's communication and also presents recommendations for further club communication. The research findings indicate that the target group received the rebranding positively and thus the rebranding met the club's stated objectives.
