Reality Show Survivor: Competition, or Conflict?

This thesis examines competition and conflict in the reality show Survivor. Its goal is to find out to what extent there are competitive and conflicting situations in the show, how they intertwine with each other, and how does this impact the final form of the show. In relation to this, the work also examines to what extent these interactions take place spontaneously, and to what extent they are constructed by the production of the show. It draws on academic literature on competition, conflict, and reality show, in order to backup the research with suitable theory. The research itself is done through the transcription of episodes of the reality show Survivor, which is then subjected to textual and contextual analysis. This enables subsequent interpretation of the findings. This interpretation shows that both competition and conflict have a central role in the show, and at the same time they are greatly interconnected. There is a lot of emphasis on competition in the show, which is especially noticeable during the challenges, where two tribes compete against each other. These challenges are bounded by rules, and they also offer a goal for which both tribes compete. To achieve this goal, it is neccessary to overcome the opponent's tribe. Cultural product based on examples from performing arts located in Prague 10

The topic of this bachelor thesis is cultural product based on examples from performing art. The aim of this work is the analysis of selected cultural products and their further evaluation. This work consists of two parts where the first one is theoretical and the second one practical. Theoretical part consists of three chapters all covering the subject of marketing, product and its marketing theory. Practical part then analyzes two cultural institutions in the field of performing arts. Both of these institutions are first presented in terms of their day to day operation . Later these institutions are examined for their cultural product and evaluated.
Product of cultural tourism in Hořice

The aim is to demonstrate the connection between tourism and culture as well as highlight their link to economic and social spheres. Another objective is to confirm or disprove the following two hypotheses. Hypothesis 1- Cultural product is the main motivating component to participate in tourism. Hypothesis 2- Cultural product develops potential of tourism. Objectives and hypotheses were evidence by research, statistical data, strategic document, internet sources and consultations with experts. The work is divided into theoretical and practical part. The practical part is focused on the cultural product in Hořice, where the situation of cultural tourism is mapped. The hypothesis were confirmed by practical example of cultural product in Hořice and through expert knowledge of research and literature and statistics.
