Solar Energy in Wireless Sensor Applications
Červenák, Rastislav ; Botta, Miroslav (referee) ; Šimek, Milan (advisor)
The work is a summary of the issues MSP430 devices eZ430-RF2500H. It deals with the solution to the consumption of its individual parts and the issue of power modules using solar energy. The output of the measurement signal depending on the distance of wireless modules and RF-power.
Financial return of home photovoltaic power plant
Jančík, Josef ; Malý, Milan (referee) ; Mauder, Tomáš (advisor)
This thesis if focused on return on ivestment evaluation of a photovoltaic system of residential house. The calculation is made for photovoltaic system with and without accumulation and in combination with other alternative source – heat pump. The costs of instalation and working of new systems are then compared between each other and with the cost of working of a current system without photvoltaic.
Bus wiring systems for complex building management
Mokrý, Lukáš ; Macháček, Jan (referee) ; Bátora, Branislav (advisor)
The aim of my thesis is to examine current opportunities of bus wiring systems for complex building management, mainly its power and economic evaluation. It can be simply called intelligent electrical installation. I will examine two systems from INELS and ABB company. These systems contain functional components, mainly modules and controllers. By means of other materials, I’ll create a panel. Components will be placed there and electrically connected. After this, systems will be put into operation and programmed by means of their software. The next step is measuring of quatities during the various conditions of systems and consumption, which is one of the main aims of the thesis. Two apparatuses will be used for measuring. This thesis itself will contain theoretical analysis of systems, their description, using the way of operation and main advantages and disadvantages. Single components and complete process of measuring and working in laboratory will be described. An overall evaluation and comparison of the systems from various points of view, including the price, will be put together from results.
Electricity Consumption Progression Analysis
Kunc, Dominik ; Procházka, Jiří (referee) ; Bartošík, Tomáš (advisor)
The aim of this thesis is to briefly introduce the reader to the problem of development of the electricity consumption, to show the possibilities of its prediction, and provide an example of electricity consumption analysis, which may serve as a basis for long-term forecast. The first part of this work is devoted to brief overview of the development of consumption of electrical energy in the Czech Republic and factors associated with that development. The main events of Czech electrification history are outlined, as well as factors influencing the magnitude of the demand for electricity in the recent times. There are described the possibilities of the influence of foreign exchange and price of the electricity, net losses, GDP, the consumption of gas, the number of inhabitants, or the structure of the economy. This work further describes the development of the consumption of electric energy abroad and comparison of the electricity consumption in the Czech Republic to its neighboring countries, in which there are apparently influence by variety of factors that affect the consumption development trend. For more complex overview, the electricity consumption of most of European states is being noted, and near the end of the chapter the development in poorest countries and in quickly growing economies is shown. The fourth chapter mentions methods for short and middle-term prediction of consumption of electricity. There also is more consistent description of possibilities useful for long-term prediction, for which the use of the results of statistics analysis is possible. The description of observed data that are used to find the dependences of different factors is made in the following part. Further the approach of the statistics analysis used in this thesis is shown, and the key terms are explained. The dates concerning the consumption of Czech Republic are analyzed, followed by the states with similar trend of the consumption and finally other European states. Sixth chapter examines the possible uses of the outcomes of statistical analyses for long-term prediction of electricity consumption. The conclusion sums up the knowledge acquired during the research concerning problem of electricity consumption and my own analysis of data.
Analysis of influence of electromobiles and plug-in hybrids collective employment on distribution network
Přikryl, Ondřej ; Vetiška, Vojtěch (referee) ; Huzlík, Rostislav (advisor)
This work deals with the analysis of influence of electromobiles and plug-in hybrids collective employment into normal operations and its impact on the character of current distribution grid. It contains an analysis and evaluation of these vehicles within the current grid and the smart grid networks, and the calculations of deployment and the influence of electromobiles and plug-in hybrids.
Android app - Energy Monitor with Prediction
John, Tomáš ; Herout, Adam (referee) ; Szőke, Igor (advisor)
The thesis describes process of creation mobile application used for recording and processing data from consumption energy meters. Application targets on devices with operating system Android. The task was to study similar solutions and then design and implement own one. Enriched by the possibility of predict future energy consumption, using historical outdoor temperatures. Also bring the optional OCR (Optical Character Recognition) reading meter's values. Weather data obtain from internet weather service. And from stored data be able to make user- rendly charts and statistics showing energy consumption.
Automatization of Analysis of Performance and Power Consumption
Rudolf, Tomáš ; Jaroš, Jiří (referee) ; Nikl, Vojtěch (advisor)
This thesis deals with increasing efficiency of supercomputers. Higher efficiency can be achieved by reducing frequency of processor if the algorithm does not slow down significantly. This thesis presents set of scripts designed to monitor consumption of processor along with scripts that visualize these measured values. It also allows easy control of processor frequency. The created solution gives user a capability to measure given algorithm efficiency and optimize computing power of specific computer exactly for the algorithm. Due to this work the user will be informed about whether it is advantageous to run his algorithm on one or other frequency of the processor.
Use of statistical methods to evaluate activities in the language school Lingua Plus, ltd.
Krbková, Lenka ; MBA, Hana Neznalová, (referee) ; Kropáč, Jiří (advisor)
In my bachelor thesis I will analyse and evaluate work efficiency in the language school LinguaPlus, s.r.o. with the help of statistical methods. I will elaborate a model which would inform the company about its future activities development either under the same conditions, or after changing some characteristics. This model will be helpful for the company, will explain ineffective steps in the past, and precautions for the future.
Web Application for Monitoring of Elecric Energy Consumption
Režný, Jan ; Koutný, Martin (referee) ; Šimek, Milan (advisor)
Bachelor thesis called „Web Application for Monitoring of Elecric Energy Consumption“ focuses on receiving, processing and visualization of measured values from wireless sensor network, which is measuring the consumption of electrical devices. The aim is to create a applications for data receiving and proccessing and application which can manage connected power meters, user-defined devices and its association, export measured data and display reports, graphs and statistics obtained from these measured values.
Sector coupling and the future form of the electricity and gas sectors
Švéda, Miroslav ; MA, Martin Šik, (referee) ; Radil, Lukáš (advisor)
This thesis deals with Sector coupling problematics. First, it deals with the development and present situation in the generation and consumption of electric power and the development and present situation in the extraction and consumption of natural gas in the Czech Republic and in the European union. Further, the thesis deals with Sector coupling, this concept is explained, and it is adumbrated what questions it deals with. Then, the technologies that can be achieved in the future of Sector coupling are introduced. Pilot projects of these technologies are presented as part of the discussion about these technologies. Finally, a consideration of the future use of Sector coupling technologies in the Czech Republic is given.
