The main aim of this bachelor‘s thesis is utilize consice summary of history of civil aviation between year 1970 to 2000 and compare their performance. This era is typical with out-set of airplanes with large capacity and new construction solutions. This thesis is focused on planes for long distance with large capacity, but also on planes for middle and short distances too. Thesis is divided by range of airplanes and special charter is about supersonic civil planes.

Rights and Duties of Passengers in Public Transport The topic of this thesis is the issue of passenger's rights and duties in public transport. Despite the fact that contract of carriage passengers belongs to one of the most commonly stipulated contract types, governed by the provisions of the Act No. 89/2012 Coll., the Civil Code, as amended, and also rights of passengers arising out of entering into this contract are - as one of the branches of the customer law - the subject of considerable European union legislation, the contract of carriage passengers and its related issues remains unaddressed in the legal doctrine. The aim of the thesis is to analyse the rights and duties of passengers arising out of the contract of carriage in the most common types of public transport in The Czech republic, and also to categorize and include them into the legal context, because - as mentioned above - this undoubtedly live issue has not been completely discussed. With regard to complexity of the thesis are also mentioned rules of International and European law, focusing on directly applied secondary european legislation. The thesis is composed of introduction, four chapters divided into subchapters of two different levels, and summary, whereas the principal focus of the thesis is from chapter two to four....

Its aim is to determine what is the current position of the consumer in rail transport, i.e. which rights and obligations belong to consumers, and based on the established facts confirm the following hypothesis: 1. Current legislative setting in consumer protection in rail transport is sufficient. 2. Competition in rail transport is beneficial for consumers.

Operations and services of Václav Havel Airpot: The Master´s thesis derals with operations and services of the largest and busiest airport in the Czech Republic, situated in its capital city. The main goals of the thesis are a detailed description of the services the airport offers to travellers and an evaluation of the airport´s operations with regards to its 2016 record season. The theoretical section of the thesis deals with the airport´s history, its premises and its range of operations and services. The analytical section aims to map which of tis services are most widely used with regards to travellerś gender and age.

Consumer protection in air transport

The master thesis is dealing with the consumer protection in air transport. The legislation is primarily stipulated in the European Parliament and the Council of the European Union regulation, to whom is dedicated the beggining of this thesis. In next step the study is devoted to operating irregulariarities followed by problems concerning luggage that could potentially occur during transportation. The end of the theoretical part is discussing the companies that assist passengers in receiving their compensations from air carriers if they are entitled to it. The second section is mainly analytical and it is supported by the theory from the first part of the thesis. Research is done within this part via method of questioning. The aim of the thesis is checking the awareness of passengers about their rights whilst using air transport. The thesis also contains subgoal which is a summary of a basic overview of consumer protection legislation. The conclusion is devoted towards proposals for addressing any identified deficiencies.
