Vladislav II. Jagiellonian as a founder and patron

The bachelor thesis focuses on Vladislav II. Jagiellonian and his founding and patronage activities in the territory of current Prague. In addition to the recostruction of Prague Castle, it focuses in detail on the description and historical development of four selected buildings, namely the Powder Gate, the Governor's Summer Palace in Bubeneč, the Church of the Virgin Mary and ST. Charlemagne in Prague in Charles and the Church of ST. Jindřich and Kunhuta in the New Town of Prague, during the Jagiellonian era. The aim of this work is describes the circumstances of the origin of these buildings and the king's connection to the foundations. The work also examines the meaning of the royal initial W in the already mentioned buildings.
Educational potential of the collection of ancient plaster casts at Duchcov Chateau

The diploma thesis focuses on the educational potential of the collection of plaster casts of ancient sculpture, which is exhibited at the chateau Duchcov in an exhibition entitled Enchanted by Antiquity. The theoretical part of the thesis is devoted to the introduction and history of the collection of plaster casts of ancient sculpture belonging to the Institute of Classical Archaeology of the Faculty of Arts of Charles University and its selected parallels abroad. In this part of the thesis the educational programs and events in these foreign institutions are also discussed. The second part of the thesis is devoted to the current state of education for the exhibition Enchanted by Antiquity and mainly to the analysis of the educational potential of this exhibition. It also includes a practical part devoted to the preparation, realization and evaluation of the pilot educational program entitled On Mount Olympus. Following the tracks of Greek myths and legends, which is intended for the 2nd grade of elementary school. Patterns of use of psilocybe mushrooms among students of art universities and its influence on artistic creation

Background: Psychedelics are substances that affect the nervous system and have the ability to influence thinking, perception and feelings of the user. In the Czech Republic, psilocybe mushrooms are the second most used psychedelic. 5.7% of the population over the age of 15 used them at least once in their lifetime, and over 70,000 people in the last 12 months. Research shows that this hallucinogen has potential uses in medicine and psychotherapy, especially in the treatment of depression, anxiety or PTSD. In the past, psychedelics were associated with the phenomenon of psychedelic art, in which artists were inspired in their works by psychedelic experiences they achieved under the influence of hallucinogenic substances, which entails significant risks. Patterns of magic mushroom use among artistic college students have not yet been adequately described. Objectives: The aim of the work is to find out the patterns of use of psychedelic mushrooms among university students with an artistic focus, to find out what effect the use has on their artistic creation and what is the motivation for using it. The Phenomenon of the Journey in Artistic Areation and in the Pedagogical Work

This thesis is focused on exploring aspects and visions of the journey and their meaning, both in concrete and metaphorical terms. In one perspective, the path is interpreted as a link between specific points, while in the other as a tool to reach a specific goal. In such a context, the journey becomes an integral part of the process towards achieving a particular goal, which can be anything from reaching a specific destination to fulfilling a life dream or mission. In this context, the interaction between the journey and the destination is crucial. The artistic component of the work is a personal diary, which contains fragments from various journeys, captured in watercolour. The diary is enriched with drawings and texts that reflect authentic travel experiences. This diary, as well as the theme of "The Phenomenon of Travel", has become an inspirational source for didactic projects that explore the concept of travel, whether in an artistic or pedagogical context. The aim of this thesis is to explore the different aspects and perspectives of the journey, both on a concrete and metaphorical level, and to translate them into didactic projects. The Art of doing Art - 5 interviews with Czech Artists

The Bachelor's thesis titled "The Art of doing Art: Five Interviews with Czech Artists" consists of a theoretical and practical part. The practical part is composed of journalistic interviews with five Czech female artists from various artistic disciplines. A brief profile of the interviewed artist is added to complete each interview. In the theoretical part, the interviews are contextualized and defined as a journalistic genre, and the author names its basic divisions. Separate subchapters introduce the reader to the history of the interview in the Czech Republic and abroad. The following subchapters describe recommendations from Czech and foreign journalists on how to prepare for and conduct an interview. The author then presents her reflection on the process of creating the interviews for this thesis. The aim of the thesis is to present the creative process and art of five Czech female artists from different disciplines through journalistic interviews and to approach this journalistic genre in the theoretical part.
Marketing Strategy Proposal of the Selected Artists

This diploma thesis deals with the development of a proposal to improve the marketing strategy of a selected visual artist, namely Klaudie Švrčková, active on the contemporary visual scene. The work is divided into four main parts. The theoretical part of the work is focused on clarifying the basic concepts related to marketing strategy, marketing mix, marketing tools and other concepts necessary for understanding and drafting a marketing strategy. The analytical part contains the introduction of the artist and the analysis of the current marketing strategy of the artist needed to obtain information for the practical part of the thesis. The analytical part is also supplemented by the marketing research carried out. The practical part of the work is devoted to the development of a proposal to improve Klaudie Švrčková's marketing strategy, which aims to increase the number of customers with the author's paintings and gain greater awareness of the artist and his work.
