Over the years, evry major city turns into a knot of intractable problems: overpopulation, traffic jams, declining of ecological situation. Some countries make a faster conversion from an industrial development to an information age, than the infrastructural changes take place. For example, in Asia change the situation in traditional ways is virtually impossible. Because of that it is a modern trend to build new cities almost in the open field. In 2010 in the city of Lisbon took place of the presentation of a new, this time “portuguese” eco-city project, called PlanIT Valley. According to the plans of the organizers the city will be a model of settlements of a new generation, which won’t pollute the environment, and will be almost completely autonomous.

Over the years, every major city turns into a knot of intractable problems: overpopulation, traffic jams, environmental degradation. Some countries make a faster conversion from an industrial development to an information growth phase, than the infrastructural changes take place. Therefore, environmental design and construction would not be short-termed, but rather will be the long-term targets for all the groups associated with the construction. The healthy living is one of the most important reasons to start a complicated long-term reconstruction of eco-cities. Successful ecological reconstitution requires a knowledge about already implemented exemplary solutions. For this purpose, the dissertation analyzes the basic ecological problems of settlements, analyzing the examples of approaches to improve the environmental performance of cities on the reference of foreign experience and creates criteria and principles for designing urban structures for healthy living in CR.

This thesis aims to design a modern innovative caravan. The main innovation of the proposal is seen in the new interior of motorhome class B for 4 persons with regard to minimal functional proportions. Independenc of energy. The main idea of the whole work is new compact interior designed according to ergonomy of person and with regard to main individual needs of user during their travelling and exterior, which brings a new face into motorhomes.Imterior brings several compromise solutions and several ideas for small spaces like multifunctional furniture. Small compact design for big travelling.

Utilization of renewable energy for heating

This bachelor's thesis, titled Alternative Heating Options, is divided into four parts. First, an overview of renewable energy sources available in Czech Republic is presented. Second part contains Czech energy policy and legislation and several grants related to renewable energy sources. Third part lists several projects constructed in Czech Republic including a description of a specific project on a residential house. Last part aims to design a heating system for a building using one of already referenced methods and to compare it with other heating systems. The returns of the design is also discussed.

Hodnocení celkového ekologického dopadu využití jednotlivých alternativních zdrojů v ČR

Cílem práce je zevrubné posouzení alternativních zdrojů energie nejen s ohledem na jejich ekologické dopady, ale také na jejich dopady na celou společnost. Projekt obsahuje: Posouzení ekologického dopadu využití jednotlivých alternativních zdrojů v ČR pomocí bilančního lineárního modelu GEMIS; Vzorce chování člověka – nároky na energii současné a budoucí společnosti, pokud bude probíhat vývoj jako „business as usual“; adaptace člověka na proměnné životní podmínky; Zhodnocení potřeby energie pro neplýtvavý, leč kvalitní život; cesty ke snížení energetické náročnosti, potenciál úspor (proces dematerializace); Politická strategie a priority – jak dosáhnout udržitelné hladiny spotřeby energie v ČR v dlouhodobém měřítku; Synergie a antagonismy jednotlivých obnovitelných a alternativních zdrojů energie - dopady ve vztahu k udržitelnému rozvoji; Globální rozdělení energetických zdrojů a nejlepší cesta pro ČR v získávání energie ve střednědobém měřítku; Energetické a jiné krize (přizpůsobení energetického systému krizím; krize, přežití a zaměstnanost; adaptace člověka na krize).
