Piezoelectricity in technical practice
Škarabelová, Lenka ; Frk, Martin (referee) ; Kazelle, Jiří (advisor)
Bachelor's thesis is dedicated to the study of the principle and possibilities of use of the piezoelectric effect. Since the use of piezoelectric effect in electrical engineering is very extensive, the main focus is placed on the ability to exploit this effect in the field of ultrasonic and piezoelectric resonators. Next aim of this work is practically and theoretically to get acquainted with the measurement of small changes in weight, using electrochemical quartz crystal microbalance (EQCM), also with an ultrasonic equipment from company Olympus and ultrasonic defectoscopy for detection of possible imperfections in the material and their evaluation.
2D ultrasonic positioning
Junek, Jiří ; Šťastný, Ladislav (referee) ; Hynčica, Ondřej (advisor)
This thesis deals with the implementation and evaluation of measuring directional and omni-directional ultrasonic senzors. Control of ultrasonic senzors and computation of a distance is realized by using a microrontroller Arduino Duemilanove. The first part deals with the measurement of directional sensors, their wiring and subsequent processing of the measurement is performed in Matlab. The second part deals with solving of measuring and visualization 2D position omni-directional ultrasonic senzors, implementation trilateration algorithm for calculating x and y coordinates and comparison the used filters. At the end of this thesis also includes a comparison of directional and omni-directional ultrasound and evaluate their applicability for measuring 2D position.
Fast Reconstruction of Photoacoustic Images
Kukliš, Filip ; Dvořák, Václav (referee) ; Jaroš, Jiří (advisor)
The ability of reconstruction of photoacoustic images is important requirement to study soft tissues or vascular and lymphatic systems in high resulution but in small space. Today solution needs extensive computing power and it is noticeably time-consuming. In this study we would like to introduce a new solution which would be a way much faster and easy to use. My solution is up to 20x faster and needs forty percent less memory. This solution may be a better alternative for scietnist who study soft tissues by photoacoustic imaging.
New Areas of the Ultrasonic Application in Microelectronics Technology
Buršík, Martin ; Pietriková, Alena (referee) ; Králová,, Iva (referee) ; Szendiuch, Ivan (advisor)
Doctoral thesis deals with the deposition of special thixotropic materials for microelectronic technology. The aim of the work is the development of the new method optimizing the dosing process in order to achieve a print resolution of better than 100 microns. The work includes the development of a special dispensing head (UZD) using the influence of ultrasonic energy. These results demonstrate the possibility of a newly developed method that is able to print thixotropic materials with a resolution of 65 microns. Compared to other methods achieves these results with the commonly used materials for thick film technology with particle size up to 5 microns.
Presence monitoring by sensor network
Vician, Tomáš ; Kučera, Pavel (referee) ; Hynčica, Ondřej (advisor)
In project is described creation of aplication at base Presence monitoring by sensor network using a communication standard IEEE 802.15.4/ZigBee. Project requirements are low power consumption and fast data rate. Solution is provided for selection of suitable sensors for this project, creation of synchronization measurement, so as to not be affected by invididual sensors and transmitting data using wireless technology. In project is designed logical topology of sensor networks and applications have been developed that perform the functions of individua network elements.
Locating welds defects on cranes.
Zíka, Luboš ; Hála, Michal (referee) ; Kubíček, Jaroslav (advisor)
The diploma thesis deals with the problematics of weld defects of cranes localisation and check. The aim is to analyse non-destructive methods, monitor the occurence of defects and their form and also to suggest the procedure of correction. The work is divided into a theoretical and practical part. In the theoretical part, there is an analysis of individual methods of non-destructive testing that are used for weld check on a particular girder. There is also an analysis of welding technologies used when making a crane girder. The practical part deals with evaluation of weld defects using two methods of non-destructive testing. Furthermore, statistics of defects is realised. In conclusion, the statistics outcome is resumed and evaluated.
Non-destructive testing of gear-wheels
Krejčí, Martin ; Juliš, Martin (referee) ; Čech, Jaroslav (advisor)
This diploma thesis resolves aplication of particular non-destructive testing methods while producing castings of steel wheels and quality control of this process. There are described fundamentals of flaw detection, determination of flaw-generation cause and suggestions for optimalization of casting process and increasing of its quality.
The properties of ultrasonic equipment for directional messages transmission
Klíma, Martin ; Král, Michal (referee) ; Bajer, Arnošt (advisor)
In work are under examination properties of equipment for spatially selective propagation of acoustic signal with usage ultrasonic carrying frequency. Further is shown summary accessible informations about this problems. Part of work includes analysis of possibility low-cost realization of such equipment.
Experimental ultrasonic measurement using LabView
Baše, Michal ; Jiřík, Radovan (referee) ; Kolář, Radim (advisor)
This bachelor´s thesis deals with ultrasonic field, measurement of its attenuation and measurement using LabVIEW. There are explained basic parameters of ultrasonic transducers and the ultrasonic field. Two methods for measuring ultrasonic attenuation and modification of the second one were proposed. There are introduced two programs in the LabVIEW for attenuation measurement, first one generates continual signal, which is brought to transducer and second one generates pulse of a few periods of sine. At the end there are showed produce of measurement using these programs.
Mobile robot design
Uherek, Vítězslav ; Neužil, Tomáš (referee) ; Krištůfková Dvorská, Jolana (advisor)
This work deals with issues of construction and sensors used in mobile robots. At the start of this work are examples of mobile robots for all environments are introduced. The primary aim is to design autonomous mobile robot that is able to navigate from a starting point to a goal point, both given by data from GPS coordinates and data from sensors. Part of this work is a design, realization and optimal layout of sensors on RC model E-maxx.
