Zajdák, Jiří ; Smrčka, Aleš (referee) ; Peringer, Petr (advisor)
Goal of the project is the creation of the simple window manager for X Window System. At first there are explained the principles of work of the graphic applications then the design of window manager and its implementation in the text. The window manager decorates the top-level windows of applications frames which contain functional buttons. For an easily operating are supported virtual screens and hot keys. The panel intended for graphic of plugins, which are implemented as shared libraries, is set in the bottom part of the screen The application place emphasis on minimal memory requirement.
Really Off-Line RSS Reading
Dresto, Erik ; Schwarz, Petr (referee) ; Smrž, Pavel (advisor)
This work deals with the problem of reading RSS articles without active internet connection. The goal of this work was to obtain information about ways of reading RSS articles, to get knowledge about RSS format, get to know its structure and history. Also to find existing solutions of RSS readers, review their advantages and disadvantages from point of expandability, actualization, and possibility to back port on mobile devices. This work also contains brief description of technologies, which are used in work with RSS channels. The reasons of using RSS for reading online articles are given in this work, thereafter the scheme of the application for reading RSS articles without active internet connection, and finally description of its implementation is worked out in it. The result of this work is an application called OfflineRSS Reader created in Java programming language.
Intelligent RSS Reader
Žouželka, Martin ; Schmidt, Marek (referee) ; Šperka, Svatopluk (advisor)
This work is especially aimed at technologies for publication and extracting web content like for example RSS and Atom. The main goal was creation of an application that makes use of these services in order to download, treat and present required messages to user. The result of this work is full-valued RSS reader implemented in Java language which provides many interesting functions.

Project Management Risks Visualization
Hřib, Dalibor ; Zámečníková, Eva (referee) ; Kreslíková, Jitka (advisor)
The aim of this master's thesis is to present risk management and methods used in risk management. The thesis is based on the ATOM methodology, which was developed for practical risk management. The thesis is focused on methods of the visualization that should present risks at IT projects with an intuitive and understandable form. It also concerns with different options of the visualization and their use at risk management. The visualization could be like a table, a graph, or another form. The thesis also contains requirements specification for risk visualization application created due to found information. The design and implementation of the project management risk visualization application is based on requirements specification. The benefits of the thesis and possible extensions are proposed at the end.
Optimization of data representation for target tracking using sensor network
Cabalová, Klára ; Veselý, Vítězslav (referee) ; Rajmic, Pavel (advisor)
The aim of this bachelor thesis is to find optimal data representation for target tracking using sensor network. There is described a model of decentralized sensor network and also the application of so called dictionary to represent the measured data. Also, there is theoretically introduced the K-SVD algorithm that is used for dictionary learning and there are learnt dictionaries for data representation based on the model signals. These dictionaries are compared with each other.
OpenGL Molecules Visualization
Hort, Pavel ; Zuzaňák, Jiří (referee) ; Kubíček, Radek (advisor)
This thesis considers atom`s attributes, which affects shape of molecules. It describes rules that are basic for molecule creation. This text features basic attributes and rules, which affects the final shape of molecule. Next part of this text explains several ways to display molecule. Following parts of this thesis describes several ways how to store and represent atom and molecules in computer technology along with solution of these problems that are used for this thesis.
Web Application for Formal Language and Compiler Teaching
Brychta, Filip ; Lukáš, Roman (referee) ; Techet, Jiří (advisor)
This thesis deals with the development of a web application used for teaching of formal languages and compilers. The application is implemented partly as an content management system and partly as a data store. Its main purpose is to simplify the access to the related materials for the public. It enables a simple distribution of information both in the textual form (comments, discussions, news) and also by upload/download of documents.
Antenna catalogue for Matlab toolbox
Maluš, Miroslav ; Šeděnka, Vladimír (referee) ; Kadlec, Petr (advisor)
This Bachelor thesis is about creation of an antenna catalog for a toolbox in the MATLAB. Basic parameterized mathematical description is created for selected basic types of wired and microstrip antennas. A function visualizing antenna parameters is created for each antenna. To enter individual parameters for the selected antenna, there is a graphical user interface. To enter individual parameters for the selected antenna, there is a graphical user interface. This thesis also offers a comparative study with competitors and shows the possibilities of the other tools.
