New technologies in art

This thesis deals with an issue of new technologies in art. The thesis approaches the issue by dividing it in three parts: new technologies in art, new types of art and the effect of the internet on art. Each of these three parts are elaborated on by using at least one example from the real world. Virtual reality and its practical use for art will be the subject of the first part, the second part will feature video games and what could make them art, finally the third part will use reddit.com in order to examine the effect social media has on art, artists, and those who consume art.

Characteristic of ESP written communication

The goal of this bachelor thesis is to define what the English for Specific Purposes is, its styles and genres. This thesis is divided into three main parts. In the first part, ESP and its history briefly presented. The styles of ESP are brought up and their uses explained. In the second part I defined the genres of ESP, explained purpose of each and further division. In the third part, examples of the textbook and popular scientific article are extracted, presented, analyzed, and compared. The texts chosen for analysis are from the field of electrical engineering and medicine. The analysis and comparison are carried out in four categories: cohesion, deixis, signposting and hedging. Firstly, the styles in the same field are compared, and secondly the similarities and differences between the fields are presented. All the results are commented on.

Hodnocení a odměňování zaměstnanců v pohostinství

Cílem bakalářské práce je analýza systému hodnocení a odměňování zaměstnanců v pohostinství. Úvod teoretické části se zabývá teorií řízení lidských zdrojů v kontextu hodnocení a odměňování zaměstnanců. Dále teoretická část popisuje systém hodnocení a odměňování zaměstnanců, především principy, chyby, kritéria, metody hodnocení, formy a cíle hodnocení. Praktická část se zabývá prostředím organizací z pohledu managementu, strukturou zaměstnanců a systémem sebehodnocení a odměňování. Poukazuje na momentální problematiku a situaci v tomto sektoru práce. Výzkum probíhal pomocí dotazníkového šetření. Otázky byly zaměřeny na systém hodnocení a odměňování. Získaná data byla analyzována, vyhodnocena a porovnána. Bylo zahrnuto několik návrhů, jak zlepšit systém hodnocení a odměňování.

Výzkum a vývoj v oblasti výzkumných dat a disertací: Projekt Univerzity v Lille (Francie)

Příspěvek prezentuje výzkumný projekt D4Humanities vedený GERiiCO laboratoří na Univerzitě v Lille a zaměřený na management výzkumných dat (RDM). Popíše zejména vývoj zdejšího workfl ow pro odevzdávání výzkumných dat, které patří k doktorským dizertacím, napojení na národní infrastrukturu pro management výzkumných dat Huma-Num (ukládání, ochrana a zpřístupnění výzkumných dat prostřednictvím služby NAKALA) a také výukový program k managementu výzkumných dat pro studenty Ph.D. programu.

Od zpřístupnění elektronických kvalifikačních prací k jejich dlouhodobé archivaci

Závěrečné kvalifikační práce jsou archiváliemi s nespornou historickou hodnotou a jako s takovými by s nimi mělo být zacházeno. V roce 2016 Archiv Univerzity Karlovy inicioval změnu stávajících podmínek pro odevzdávání závěrečných prací. Důraz byl kladen zejména na použití formátů vhodných pro dlouhodobou archivaci (zejména formát PDF/A). Prezentace je zaměřena na historický vývoj sběru prací (včetně analýzy formátů prací odevzdaných mezi lety 2006–2016), na popis podmínek odevzdávání a na jejich implementaci do praxe.
