Podnikatelský plán: založení baru ve Velké Británii

Bakalářská práce se zabývá tvorbou podnikatelského plánu ve formě baru se sídlem ve Velké Británii. Podnik je zaměřen na import surovin a nápojů z České republiky. V teoretické části je charakterizován podnikatelský plán, podnikání v ČR a VB, srovnání podnikání těchto dvou zemí, identifikování formy podnikání a také podmínky pro pořízení zboží v rámci EU. Praktická část se věnuje analýzám prostředí a návrhem samotného podnikatelského plánu. Výstupem práce je zhodnocení, zda tato vize má potenciál pro úspěch.

Právní úprava spotřebitelského úvěru ve vybraných jurisdikcích - abstrakt Tato diplomová práce představuje komparativní studii regulace spotřebitelského úvěru. Jeho právní úprava je v práci srovnávána ve třech různých zemích: České republice, Rusku a Spojeném království Velké Británie a Severního Irska. Předmětem zjišťování jsou odlišnosti od české úpravy, přičemž je vyhodnocována účelnost odlišných ustanovení. V závěru práce jsou shrnuta doporučení vedoucí k optimalizaci budoucí právní úpravy spotřebitelského úvěru. Vizuální reprezentace brexitu v britských online médiích

Diplomová práce zkoumá vizuální pokrytí brexitu,politické události, která ovlivnila život milionu Britů. Ostrovní země si v referendu v roce 2016 odhlasovala odchod z Evropské unie,čímž zásadně ovlivnila mediální diskurz domácího tisku.Brexit měl politické, ekonomické a sociální dopady, které se projevily různorodou tematickou agendou a vizuálním pokrytím. Obrazové pokrytí zahrnovalo nejen portréty politiků, ale i reklamní plakáty, reportážní fotografie nebo ilustrační snímky. Práce konkrétně zkoumá dva britské zpravodajské weby s dlouholetou tradicí, jimiž jsou The Guardian a The Daily Mail. Několik vybraných článků z obou médií je podrobeno kombinaci diskurzivní analýzy a kompoziční interpretace, jejichž pomocí se zjišťuje,jak vypadalo vizuální pokrytí tohoto období a jaké mělo vliv na mediální agendu. Součástí analýzy je i působení vizuálního a textového rámcování na diváka.

Geopolitický význam GIUK

Předkládaná diplomová práce se věnuje geopolitickému, ale i geostrategickému významu oblasti GIUK Gap. Kromě přehledu v samotné analýze využívaných realistických teorií mezinárodních vztahů práce obsahuje i část věnovanou historickému vývoji geopolitického a geostrategického významu GIUK Gap, ale především analýzu současného geopolitického a geostrategického významu zmiňované specifické oblasti severního Atlantiku. Analýza současného geopolitického stavu je psána s důrazem na zvyšující se význam oblasti pro NATO a Ruskou federaci, jejichž zájmy se v posledních letech, a to nejen v tomto regionu, čím dál častěji střetávají. Cílem práce je prokázat kauzální vztah mezi obecně zhoršujícími se vztahy NATO a Ruskou federací po anexi Krymu v roce 2014 a narůstajícím významem GIUK Gap.

Multidimensional Analysis of Security Concerns over Immigration: the Case of the United Kingdom

2 Abstract Building upon the Paris school of securitisation, this dissertation investigates the relationship between securitised migration and the perception of the European Union in the United Kingdom. Being among the first quantitative studies in the field of security, the work applies various data visualisation techniques and standard quantitative methods to study the phenomenon of migration securitisation in the UK between 2004 and 2018 based on the European Social Survey Data. Extensive exploratory analysis uncovers the existence of a distinct group of people in the UK who perceive both the EU and migration as threats. The analysis also finds stark regional and temporal differences that suggest a certain degree of securitisation of the migration issue in the run-up of the Brexit referendum, which disappears shortly after. Regression analysis using a fixed-effect model provides a reliable estimate of a strong and substantial effect of securitised migration on the perception of the EU. Effectiveness of Countering Violent Extremism and De-radicalisation Strategy: A comparative analysis between the United States and the United Kingdom

Different states have taken a significant number of countering violent extremism and de-radicalisation strategies all over the world. However, the effectiveness of these policies does not discuss so much. Sometimes governments claim success regarding their strategies. Nevertheless, these claims are questionable because of the lack of empirical evidence. The literature on CVE significantly highlights the importance of CVE campaigns with different programmes: de-radicalisation, disengagement, rehabilitation, and reintegration. However, the research on the evaluation of CVE and de- radicalisation programme around the world is limited. Therefore, this research has tried to contribute to this issue. This research has used the comparative case study method and selected the cases of the CVE and de-radicalisation strategies of the United States and the United Kingdom. This research finds that both US and UK CVE strategies predominantly focus on the Muslim, which stigmatised the Muslim community and reinforced Islamic stereotypes. Therefore, it creates 'Muslim' as a 'suspect community' that is alienating Muslims.
