Title: Case study of physiotherapy treatment of a patient with the dignosis Crohn's disease Objective: The aim of the bachelor thesis is theoretical processing of the diagnosis of Crohn's disease, physiotherapeutic examination and therapeutic methods and, of course, also the practical layout and application of therapy that is suitable to patient's medical condition. Methods: The bachelor thesis was elaborated on the basis of four-week practice, which took place in the Rheumatology Institute in Prague. The theoretical part of the thesis corresponds to the literature search of Czech and foreign professional publications and articles concerning the above- mentioned issue. This part contains not only theoretical knowledge about Crohn's disease, but also functional effects of damaged organs on the locomotor system and higher management levels. Examination and therapeutic methods related to the diagnosis and therapy of Crohn's disease and problems associated with it. The pieces of information were searched in local libraries, electronic resources, and some of them also correspond to the personal communication of experts in their field, with whom I had the privilege to meet. Title: The case study of physiotherapy treatment of a patient with the diagnosis of ankylosing spondylitis with rhizomelic disability and after left hip joint replacement surgery Author: Adéla Cvachová Summary: The bachelor thesis is focused on the issue of rehabilitation after rheumatic surgery of the left hip joint, indicated from rheumatic ankylosing spondylitis disease with rhizomelic disability. It consists of two parts - theoretical and practical. In the theoretical part, the thesis deals with the etiology of genesis, diagnosis clinical presentation, treatment options for ankylosing spondylitis and problematice of rheumatosurgery of the hip joint. The practical part is focused on physiotherapeutic treatment of the patient after total hip replacement with ankylosing spondylitis taken into account. The case study was based on four weeks praxis in the Rheumatology Institute in Prague in January 2019. Title: A case of physiotherapeutic care of patient with juvenile idiopathic arthritis Objectives: The major aim of this bacheor thesis is to highlight the role of physiotherapist in the diagnosis and therapy of juvenile idiopathic arthritis and to verify the effect of physiotherapeutic care chosen by the investigator in the therapy of the patient with this disease. Methods: This bachelor thesis was made as a part of continuos professional practise in the Institut of Rheumatology in Prague, which was in the period from 7. 1. 2019 to 1. 2. 2019 led by the head of the physiotherapy department Eva Taušová. The thesis is divided into two main parts. The first part, the general part contains theoretical informations about disease called juvenile idiopathic arthritis, its characteristic, description of its clinical symptoms, its diagnostics and its treatment options. The second part, special part contains detailed case of physiotherapeutic care of the patient with juvenile idiopathic arthritis. Results: A part of the special part is control kinesiological analysis, which demonstrates improvement in patient's clinical status. Title: Case study of physiotherapy treatment of a patient with the diagnosis of ankylosing spondylitis. Aim: The aim of this thesis is to introduce the issue of disease of ankylosing spondylitis, focusing on physiotherapy treatment in this disease. Furthermore the thesis is introducing a case study of a patient diagnosed with ankylosing spondylitis. Summary: This thesis is divided into two parts, general part and special part. General part introduces the issue of ankylosing spondylitis. The general part describes symptoms of the disease, its diagnostics and ways of treatment, focusing on physiotherapy and physical exercise in general, furthermore possibilities drug treatment and surgery is mentioned as well as other ways of treatment. Finally it describes the prognosis of the disease. Special part introduces a case study of a patient diagnosed with ankylosing spondylitis. Based on the initial biomechanical assessment the short-term and long-term rehabilitation plan is evaluated, the therapy carried out according to rehabilitation plan. By comparing both initial and final biomechanical assessment, the effect of therapy was concluded. Title Case study of physical therapy management of a patient with systemic scleroderma Summary The topic of this work is progressive disease called Systemic scleroderma. For this disease are typical fibrotic changes in connective tissue such as are in skin and in some organs. The first part of the work summarizes information about this disease. The second part of this work contains case study of physical management of a patient with this diagnosis. The case study includes initial examination, suggestion of therapies and implementation. After this part is a final examination. At the end of the second part is an evaluation of performed therapies. Results At the end of therapies there was an improvement in patient's health.
