Monitoring the movement of people in an enclosed building via WiFi technology
Olmr, Martin ; Votruba, Zdeněk (advisor)
This thesis aims to draft technology and its practical verification for online monitoring of people in closed buildings (hospitals, hospices, ...). The technology will be based on WiFi triangulation and evaluated self-designed device. In the practical part will be tested reliability, accuracy and economic comparison with alternative technologies.
Integration assitive systems with IH&S
Čáslavková, Andrea ; Votruba, Zdeněk (advisor) ; Vaculík, Petr (referee)
The thesis is focused on the elderly population - seniors and their safe living in their own environment. The main target is to improve their quality of living, independence and self-sufficiency through assistive and security services. We will acquaint with the various organizations that deal with this issue. As an example we will show you a senior´s flat that is equipped with points and elements falling into these technologies and overall assessment.
Reliability of telephone dialer in I&HAS
Beneš, Petr ; Votruba, Zdeněk (advisor) ; Kolářík, Jaromír (referee)
The aim of this study is to evaluate and practically verify the reliability and safety of communicators from the perspective of a potential attack on the security system connected through a telephone line to the ARC (Alarm Receiving Centre). The Intruder and Hold-up Alarm System (I&HAS) itself without being connected to the ACR, is actually an acoustical optical signaling device which does not deal with the comprehensive protection of property and may not fully discourage a potential offender from entering a guarded object. The theoretical part describes the individual transmission paths of the access telephone network, the principles of communication between the I&HAS and ARC, the connection systems and their signaling. The pitfalls of the transmission paths and the possibility of their attack are also defined. The practical part describes the implementation of one of the possible techniques of attack in detail.
Integration CCTV system in IB via Fibaro system
Pípal, Lukáš ; Votruba, Zdeněk (advisor) ; Sander, Jan (referee)
The object of this thesis is to practical verification of functionality of the certified CCTV integrated into the system of intelligent buildings, which is realized by the system Fibaro. In the thesis are given analyses of the functions of intelligent building, legislation and standards, which deal with CCTV. Furthermore, there is a description of the system Fibaro and its elements. On this basis is done practical testing of the system Fibaro with a focus on the possibilities of integration of the CCTV. Based on the test results, there are several suggested solutions, for which it is done price evaluation, and also the evaluation of whether they are in accordance with the relevant standard.
Optimalization of data center projects
Hruša, Petr ; Votruba, Zdeněk (advisor) ; Libich, Ladislav (referee)
The aim of this thesis is to standardize project design of data centers and to define the critical points in its implementation. The introduction describes the types of data centers . The next part describes the legislation and standards, which are needed to follow in the implementation of the data centers. It is also designed topology of the data center, which is divided into TIER I -IV in relation to the availability of services . The next section defines and describes the critical points in the implementation of data centers (energy center, cooling system, fire protection system etc.). On the basis of standards and critical points have been proposed general methodology for dealing with design data centers. The proposed methodology is demonstrated on already constructed and operated commercial data centers.
Expert system for design and project I&HAS
Matějka, Pavel ; Votruba, Zdeněk (advisor) ; Hart, Jan (referee)
This thesis solves realization of expert system design I&HAS. It described the issue of security system design according to applicable standards and common procedures. On this basis, the proposed algorithmic procedure. Subsequently, this procedure is transformed into an expert system.
Comparison of performance parameters of passive network components in relation to their price
Anděl, Jakub ; Votruba, Zdeněk (advisor) ; Libich, Ladislav (referee)
The objective of this bachelor thesis is to describe properties and usage of passive elements used for these-says computer networks. Another goal is to compare their performance parameters considering their price for which they can be purchased and then make a recommendation based on specifics elements matching the types of comuter networks. It conclusion there'll be some examples, how to build a network, depending on parameters and sizes for what price could be the passive elements of those networks bought.
Connecting the .NET Framework application with database MySQL.
Řezníček, Vít ; Neděla, René (advisor) ; Votruba, Zdeněk (referee)
In this thesis the main goal is to familiarize with means of connecting .NET platform to MySQL database system. In the thesis is depicted historical development of .NET platform, its components and inner workings. There are also briefly described application development tools working with this platform. A part of the thesis dedicated to MySQL describes architecture of the system, individual components and associated programs. Further there are pointed out possible programming choices to connect to databases, related .NET common libraries and also MySQL tools providing specific connection libraries. In the last part the thesis focuses on practical use of acquired knowledge about means of connection in exemplary database application.
Object-oriented software development
Maier, Stanislav ; Merunka, Vojtěch (advisor) ; Votruba, Zdeněk (referee)
The goal of my thesis was to develop an application in the selected object environment as firmware for single-chip computer. I created prototype of monitoring unit for greenhouses, with two controlled outputs, that would be accessible over the local network. Prototype was based on Arduino platform and from freely available components. Theoretical part of thesis describes the Arduino platform, Wiring language and environment and other used programing languages and communication standards. Practical part of thesis describes prototype of the monitoring unit with it's program code and client side web interface. At the end of thesis is the economic comparison of the developed prototype and existing equivalents on the market.
