Security Analysis of Immersive Virtual Reality and Its Implications

Virtuální realita je v současné době využívána nejen pro zábavu, ale i pro práci a sociální interakci, kde má soukromí a důvěrnost informací vysokou prioritu. Avšak bohužel, bezpečnostní opatření uplatňovaná dodavateli softwaru často nejsou dostačující. Tato práce přináší rozsáhlou bezpečnostní analýzu populární aplikace Bigscreen pro virtuální realitu, která má více než 500 000 uživatelů. Byly využity techniky analýzy síťového provozu, penetračního testování, reverzního inženýrství a dokonce i metody pro application crippling. Výzkum vedl k odhalení kritických zranitelností, které přímo narušovaly soukromí uživatelů a umožnily útočníkovi plně převzít kontrolu nad počítačem oběti. Nalezené bezpečnostní chyby umožnily distribuci škodlivého softwaru a vytvoření botnetu pomocí počítačového červa šířícího se ve virtuálních prostředích. Byl vytvořen nový kybernetický útok ve virtální realitě nazvaný Man-in-the-Room. Dále byla objevena bezpečnostní chyba v Unity engine. Zodpovědné nahlášení objevených chyb pomohlo zmírnit rizika pro více než půl milionu uživatelů aplikace Bigscreen a uživatele všech dotčených aplikací v Unity po celém světě.
Nanoscale phases on surface Fe-6Si magnetic sheets

Analysis of the nanoscale phases which appear on the surface Fe-6Si samples were carried out after the various treatments – grinding and etching, annealing, and water jet abrasion. The basic information on structure, chemical and phase composition was obtained by X-Ray Powder Diffraction (XRD), Scanning Electron Microscopy with EDX, Glow Discharge Optical Emission Spectrometry (GDOES), Mössbauer Spectroscopy and X-ray Photoelectron Spectrometry (XPS). The results show high stability of the surface phase composition after the mechanical and heat treatments. Results obtained from the surface analysis in micrometer depth (XRD, EDX, GDOES) do not show any changes after the different treatments. Iron oxides were detected in XPS and conversion electron Mössbauer spectra (CEMS) which analyze the surface composition in a nanometer scale. In addition to, fine changes in atomic ordering on the surface can be observed after mechanical and heat treatments in the CEMS spectra.
The Possibilities of Using Computer Games for Improving Business Function

The study addresses gamification and the implementation of gamification in a company with the goal to improve the efficiency and motivation within the company. The purpose of this study is to introduce the topic of gamification, evaluate the current status and discuss its opportunities in terms of employee's efficiency. In order to do so, the characteristics of games and computer games specifically are defined, followed by an explanation of their main principles and mechanisms. Afterwards the author introduces the basic concepts of motivation and psychology, which are necessary for understanding the core characteristics of gamification. Based on these findings, the next chapter describes gamification, starting with its history, the evaluation of the current status and a discussion of opportunities and improvements for the future. Furthermore, the main characteristics and mechanisms of gamification are described and explained on specific business cases. Last but not least, an application for gamification is developed with the goal to increase the productivity and motivation of employees in a coffee shop. This application was developed solely for the purposes of this thesis.
Creating Plugins for NetBeans

The subject of this thesis is an analysis of plugin technology. The goal of the thesis is to characterization of basics of this technology in common and with focus on application on NetBeans platform and its integrated development environment and further demonstration of the technology in form developing exemplary NetBeans plugin. Opening part is dedicated to theoretical analysis of plugin principals, its purposes in soft-ware development and use cases for current software applications. The theoretical part follows by describing use cases of plugins for NetBeans platform and bringing thought for designing, developing and distributing new plugins. The subsequent part is dedicated to implementation of NetBeans plugin to demonstrate technology and methods described. The result of implementation is a NetBeans plugin allowing advanced editing of documentation commentary from Java source code inside WYSISYG HTML editor just from NetBeans environment. The resulting plugin, source codes and documentation is included attachment of this thesis. This thesis expands collection of theses dedicated to subject of NetBeans platform and those theses are referred in the text.
Automation of MitM Attack on WiFi Networks

Tato bakalářská práce se zaměřuje na výzkum v oblasti bezpečnosti bezdrátových sítí. Práce přináší studii široce využívaných síťových technologií a principů zajištění bezpečnosti bezdrátových sítí. Analyzované technologie a způsoby zabezpečení trpí slabinami, které mohou být zneužity k provedení útoku MitM . Práce zahrnuje přehled dostupných nástrojů zaměřených na využití jednotlivých slabin. Výsledkem této práce je balíček wifimitm a CLI nástroj, oba implementované v jazyce Python. Balíček poskytuje funkcionalitu pro automatizovaný útok MitM a může být použit jako součást dalšího software. Nástroj wifimitmcli je schopen úspěšného provedení plně automatizovaného útoku bez jakéhokoli zásahu útočící osoby. Tento výzkum nachází využití v oblasti automatizovaných penetračních testů a forenzního vyšetřování.
Platform Unity 5 - characteristics and use in the development of 2D computer games

This thesis is aimed to describe the gaming development environment Unity, its accessi-bility to users, market position, advantages and possibilities for creating 2D games. The thesis focuses most on how to use tools to develop 2D games from the very beginning to various options of release them on platform Windows. Thesis describes tools for simulat-ing the physical laws such as gravity and collisions, as well as audio, camera, work with light effects, user interface, tools to create scenes, switching between scenes, as well as creating the game menu. These tools are shown on a project, which serves as a demonstration for how to use them. The thesis also describes the largest competitors in field of game engines, their ad-vantages and disadvantages. Furthermore, the history of Unity, the possibility of selecting a programming language as well as the advantages and disadvantages of their use in Uni-ty. From the available languages was selected language C#, in which projects were devel-oped.
Framework Unreal Editor – its properties and usage for creating a 2D game

This bachelor thesis describes the game engine Unreal Engine 4. First, it explains the con-cept of this increasingly popular software archetype and the chosen representative is placed in the context of similar alternatives. The reader is then introduced to its development envi-ronment, basic principles and the Blueprint programming language. Individual steps are demonstrated in the development of a simple 2D application, from foundation to export of a standalone game.
Platform Unity 5 – its properties and usage for development of 2D computer game

The purpose of this bachelor thesis is to focus on tools for game development support. This study is divided into two parts. The first part describes situation on the market with game engines, concretely it focuses on the analysis and description of the mentioned market. The subject of the second part is one concrete game engine, Unity. In this part its development environment is described and as well its GUI, basic components and functionalities. After this the functionalities are being demonstrated by the development of a simple 2D platform game. Results of this study are objective view on the situation on the market with game engines, the description of the Unity environment and the description of 2D game development with the 2D game itself.
The Concept and Application of the MonoGame Framework and the Farseer Physics Engine Library

This work is focused on the development of video games with three-dimensional graphics with utilization of a system for two-dimensional physical simulation. Instruments used are the MonoGame framework and the Farseer Physics Engine library. These designated instruments are analyzed and a method using their available functionalities is proposed to enable two-dimensional simulation based on the shapes created from bitmap projections of three-dimensional models. These three-dimensional models can then be rendered in three-dimensional space based on the result of simulation conducted in two-dimensional space. Attached is a sample video game demonstrating the practical implementation of discussed and proposed method.
Editor of mind map's text equivalent

The work analyzes the possibility of writing of mental maps in the text form and compares it with the classical creation of mental maps in graphical form. This work also tries to find the ideal solution of mental maps in the text form that fulfil the most functions possible as it is in the graphical version and at the same time it is a rival to the graphical version of mental maps thanks to its simplicity. Work then performs an analysis of the text editor of mental maps. It describes how and by what means we will achieve the desired result. The contribution of this work is a creation of text editor of mental maps. Editor is a plugin included with jEdit.
