This part of the thesis includes definition of basic terminology, describes forms of educational programs and ways, in which these programs are prepared. The practical part is based on the theoretical knowledge and compares educational programs in three museums. Selected museums are Regionální muzeum a galerie v Jičíně, Muzeum Mladoboleslavska and Městské muzeum Nová Paka. The aim of the comparison is to assess, whether the current situation in selected institutions is satisfactory and further to suggest changes, which would solve possible shortcomings.
Application of UAV for mapping and assessment of flood effects
Vacková, Tereza ; Langhammer, Jakub (advisor) ; Kliment, Zdeněk (referee)
The aim of this thesis is to devise a method for objective classification of floodplain based on spatially accurate data from UAV that allows identification of the fundamental features of floodplain and channel arising from or affecting by the floods activities. Background research is focused on floodplain forming processes; types of flood on our territory and its geomorphological effects, as well as a brief description unmanned aerial vehicle and their applicability in natural science and the flood. Proposed method was carried out on the test section - a part of meander of Javoří stream in Šumava Mountain - then was tested on complex meander belt of the same stream. Proposed method is based on applicability of standard objective classification. Elementary products from photogrammetric analysis - 2D orthophoto and 3D digital surface model - are used as basic input data. Another aim of theses is to discuss applicability of this method for assessment of fluvial form, its limits and potential development. The results indicated that success of classification will increase significantly the involvement of 3D data to classification, which from standard data from the UAV, despite the lack of absence multispectral bands doing a very valuable source of information for mapping and analysis, for example, the...
Biochemical changes accompanying the aging of red wine
Vacková, Tereza ; Hudeček, Jiří (advisor) ; Entlicher, Gustav (referee)
Flavonoids are plant secondary metabolites, which belong to several groups varying in their chemical structure. Anthocyanins and tannins are important flavonoid components of wine that are responsible for its color, taste and other sensory properties. The concentration of anthocyanins in wine is affected by grape variety, processing technology, and climatic conditions. In this Thesis, we studied the changes in color and in related chemical composition, using three non-commercial samples of red wine: Svatovavřinecké (year 2010 and 2012), and home-made wine (prepared without addition of SO2). These changes in color were determined using standard colorimetric method (CIELab) and also a simplified two-parametric spectrophotometric method (tint/color density). The content of anthocyanins was followed using analytical RP-HPLC method. In paralel, simplified oenologic methods for estimation of phenolic compounds were used. Generally the wine samples changed color to darker tint. Chemically, this was caused by polymerisation reactions between anthocyanins and phenolic compounds. This led to the formation of stable pigments characterised by a higher absorption maximum at longetr wavelength, hence a darker tint. Key words: anthocyanins, color, red wine, phenolic compounds, malvidin-3-glucosid, polymeric reactions,...
Applicability of distance data for hydromorphological assessment on the example of Elbe river
Vacková, Tereza ; Langhammer, Jakub (advisor) ; Hartvich, Filip (referee)
The aim of this thesis is to evaluate the applicability of distance data for hydromorphological assessment. Background research is focused on different types of distance data sources and selected hydromorphological methods. Applicability of distance data in hydromorphological assessment was tested on four selected sections of Elbe River, on which there was previously conducted field survey. Hydromorphological assessment was based on methodology HEM (Hydroecological monitoring). Results from the field survey were used as a reference resources for comparison with the own results achieved by the assessment with distance data using public available data sources. The results indicated that use of distance data for hydromorphological assessment can be regarded as an alternative to the field survey. At the same time the study pointed to clear limitations in assessment of some parameters, namely of river bottom, where the field survey cannot be replaced by any known distance data source. The results proved that the application of distance data can lead to the results comparable to the field survey while respecting uncertainty, given by impossibility to determine some of the parameters.
Tourism in the South Bohemian Area with Huge Amount of Ponds
Tourism is the livelihood of many people in the Czech Republic. It affects not only the people but the landscape, too. The South Bohemian area with huge amount of ponds was selected for this work. The first target of this work is to analyze what kinds of tourism are used in the selected area. This area is characterized by a huge amount of ponds and pure countryside which are attractive for tourism specially for fishing, cycling and hiking. Alternative types of tourism are also analysed, such as agrotourism and ekoagrotourism. Tourism affects the economy, culture, social life and the environment in the region. The second target is to evaluate positive and negative impacts of tourism. On the base of the obtained results, measures focusing on the sustainable development of tourism are designed.
Mutual duty between parents and children to support and maintain in theory and practice
Vacková, Tereza ; Radvanová, Senta (advisor) ; Frinta, Ondřej (referee)
Maintenance between parents and children Resumé My thesis deals with the mutual maintenance of parents and children in theory and in practice and the thesis consists of ten chapters. The topic of alimony is a very current topic. Our society is constantly changing and its relations in the families as well. The families which are functioning decrease so the needed family members have to seek for their rights. Each of us is a parent or a child, so this topic affects all of us. The first chapter defines the basic concepts of my thesis, such as the concept of maintenance obligations, the differences between different types of maintenance obligations, the definition of subjects of maintenance obligations and the differences between the Czech and the International legal system. The final part of the first chapter discusses the new regulations of maintenance obligations, which will come into effect with new Civil Code. The main chapters focus on alimony obligation of parents to children and on alimony obligation of children to parents. I discuss the basic concepts and I define them. In those chapters the newly created tables from the Ministry of Justice for calculating the alimony with its application in the practice of Czech courts, where also the latest judiciary decisions are mentioned, also are taken into...
The biochemical parameters of wine and their changes during ageing
Vacková, Tereza ; Hudeček, Jiří (advisor) ; Hodek, Petr (referee)
3. Abstract Wines marketed under the same brandname and designation may differ in color and other characteristic, as they may come from different batches. These differences may reflect different concentrations of individual components in wine, reflecting, for example, different compositions of individual cupages. We used the reagent set "Malá vinařská laboratoř" (supplied by the BS Vinařské závody, Velké Bílovice, ČR) to determine principal parameters of two samples of a white wine with the same brandname, differing in color. For comparison, one sample of red wine was studied with the same methods. After opening the wine, we followed the changes of selected parameters during ageing, for 14 days (keeping the wine in a cold place), and also in a short-term experiment under elevated temperature. Our laboratory data were complemented by a more detailed analysis of phenolics and other antioxidants, performed in a specialised laboratory (Mendel Agricultural University, Brno, ČR).
