Plug-in for Eclipse environment
Zaytsev, Vsevolod ; Burget, Radim (referee) ; Sysel, Petr (advisor)
This bachelor’s thesis has a goal to design a new DLTK-based (Dynamic Languages Toolkit) plug-in for the Eclipse development environment. Theoretical part of the thesis engages on the architecture of the Eclipse and describes the possibility of its extension through its own plug-ins, particularly for support of the Octave script language. Practical part of the thesis describes the creation of new plug-in for the Eclipse development environment, it’s integration and activation.
Identification of Ink Cartridges of Industrial Printer
Galád, Dominik ; Sysel, Petr (referee) ; Číka, Petr (advisor)
This thesis deals with the identification of ink cartridges by the industrial printer TSjet. There are described the basic methods of identification of ink cartridges that are commonly used today. There is also described 1-Wire® bus and USART interface. In the second part the thesis deals with suitable security algorithms for data security stored on the identification chip. The practical part describes the design of the system for identification of the ink cartridge. The conclusion of the thesis summarizes the results of design testing in practice and the safety evaluation of the whole system.
Firmware for power line communicaiton system
Majer, Dominik ; Sysel, Petr (referee) ; Sláčik, Ján (advisor)
In this diploma thesis it was introduced the issue of power line communication and network architecture design with goal to create own concept of smart house system. Consequently, the necessary communication protocols are designed and described based on the concept. Further is described the implementation of the designs and testing of the realized system under laboratory conditions using the real communication devices. Summary of the achieved results is supported by demonstration of real functionality.
Hardware for Aurisation of Room Impulse Responses
Martin, Martin ; Sysel, Petr (referee) ; Schimmel, Jiří (advisor)
This work deals with acoustics of rooms for sound post-production activities and their simulations, in order to reduce the need for acoustic room treatment and specialized monitoring equipment to a hardware unit and headphones - specifcally by creating hardware product for auralization of rooms impulse resp
Signal processing in fiber optic sensing systems
Gardáš, Vít ; Sysel, Petr (referee) ; Münster, Petr (advisor)
This master’s thesis is focused on sensory systems and analysis of such signals. In the frst part, a theoretical analysis of each sensory system is conducted. Followingly, appropriate flters were used to process these signals. The last part of this thesis deals with the analysis of measured data.
Preparation of uniform superparamagnetic particles with polymer coating for biomedical applications
Patsula, Vitalii ; Horák, Daniel (advisor) ; Sysel, Petr (referee) ; Matějíček, Pavel (referee)
Aim of this thesis was to design and prepare polymer-coated monodisperse Fe3O4 nanoparticles as a safe and non-toxic contrast agent for magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) and heat mediator for hyperthermia. Uniform superparamagnetic Fe3O4 nanoparticles were synthesized by thermal decomposition of Fe(III) oleate, mandelate, or glucuronate in high- boiling solvents at temperature >285 řC. Size of the particles was controlled in the range of 8- 27 nm by changing reaction parameters, i.e., temperature, type of iron precursor, and concentration of stabilizer (oleic acid and/or oleylamine), while preserving uniformity of the nanoparticles. Because particles contained hydrophobic stabilizer on the surface, they were dispersible only in organic solvents. To ensure water dispersibility, oleic acid on the particle surface was replaced by hydrophilic and biocompatible methoxy-poly(ethylene glycol) (PEG) and poly(3-O-methacryloyl-α-D-glucopyranose) by ligand exchange. Polymers were previously terminated with anchoring-end groups (hydroxamic or phosphonic) to provide firm bonding to iron atoms on the particle surface. Fe3O4 nanoparticles were also hydrophilized by encapsulation into a silica shell by reverse microemulsion method. Tetramethyl orthosilicate was used to prepare Fe3O4@SiO2 nanoparticles, which were...

Device localization using BLE packets
Tsevelnyam, Amgalanbayar ; Číž, Radim (referee) ; Sysel, Petr (advisor)
Master’s thesis is about indoor localization of objects or persons using Bluetooth Low Energy. The outcome of this work is determining the accuracy of a localization method One Nearest Zone on density of the localization network, implementing the Trilateration method and also determining the accuracy of this localization method on density of the localization network.
Parallel implementation of Goertzel algorithm
Skulínek, Zdeněk ; Smékal, Zdeněk (referee) ; Sysel, Petr (advisor)
Technical problems make impossible steadily increase processor's clock frequency. Their power are currently growing due to increasing number of cores. It brings need for new approaches in programming such parallel systems. This thesis shows how to use paralelism in digital signal processing. As an example, it will be presented here implementation of the Geortzel's algorithm using the processing power of the graphics chip.
