The theme of the thesis is the fall of the totalitarian regime and the roots of anti-communist opposition. The thesis is focused on the rise of civil resistance, which was initiated by the main protagonists of this society - wide revolutionary expansion. The courage of these three heroes of their age will be shown.
The authoritarian regime of the Second Republic and the Czech Catholic elite

The thesis deals with the authoritarian regime of the Second Czechoslovak Republic (1938-1939) in its Czech part, with the reasons of its origin, its description and its placement in the contemporary context. It shows the share of Catholic, politic and social elites in its creation as well as in efforts to enforce the Christian character of the new regime. It considers then critical stances against democracy of the Catholic Church, it compares authoritarian regime of the Second Republic with similiar regimes in then Europe and it tries to morally and ethically evaluate then stances of the Czech elites. The thesis also deals with anti-Jewish and anti-Gypsy measures of the Second Republic, and it tries to offer a valuable lesson from its development. This thesis will deal with the position of the church in people's democracies in Czechoslovakia, Poland, Hungary. How were these countries afected by this establishment and their settlement (compensation) after 1989. It also considers the ethical impact of the people's democrasy on the religious identity of the population of Bohemia after the Velvet Revolution.

The presented thesis deals with the basic premises of the common good and sustainable develompent the society. The thesis deals with the themes of freedom, fairness, trust, responsibility, morality, ethics and ekonomics tested on the specific phenomenon of the Global financial crisis in 2008. The attention is focused especially on the way of thinking and behavior of humans, which played a significant role, both on the part of institutions, politicians, economists, financiers and ordinary citizens. It reveals the key factors leading to the formation of crisis. In this context it suggests possible solutions to prevent similar crises in the future.
