Civil building
Bartošová, Andrea ; Spáčilová, Jitka (referee) ; Spáčil, Miroslav (advisor)
Basic of this Diploma thesis is Civil construction in Kostelec nad Orlici, which is in a part of city, where is planning off-grid community housing. Part of off-grid community housing is considered a partially sistainable civil construction, serving both for cultural use through the club, for commercial purposes such as various salons (hairdresser, massage or shop), as well as for sports activities with the possibility of small refreshments, such as bouldering, climbing wall and exercise hall. Four sustainable (off-grid) familly houses, which aren´t the subject of this thesis, are considered. Object SO01 – Civil construction is designed as a partially basement, two floors. The shape of the object is designed as several blocks with different height levels. From a material point of view it is a wooden building from the system of large-format laminated wood panels (CLT). The basement is designed with a waterproof reinforced concrete so-called white tub and prefabricated ceiling panels SPIROLL. A facade is made of wooden cladding, cement-fiber boards or thin-layer silicone plaster. A roof of the object is partially flat (vegetation and walkable) and a shed roof with a slope of 5°. A dance hall and the rest of the club + exit is located in the basement. A sanitary facilities, a technical room and a main entry with reception is also located in the basement. Right in the middle of the building is a climbing wall that runs across all floors. To the right of the climbing wall is a shop, exercise hall and staircase. To the left side are a sanitary facilities, a boulder (low climbing wall) and separate staircase for a office space on the 2nd floor. Behind the climbing wall is a bistro with entry for a terrace and entry for the club. There are some establishments like a hairdresser, a cosmetic salon, a tattoo salon and a massage salon on the 2nd floor. There are an entrance to a terrace above the bistro and a staircase to an attic and to second terrace as well on the 2nd floo
Building for housing
Pešava, Petr ; Spáčilová, Jitka (referee) ; Spáčil, Miroslav (advisor)
The subject of the bachelor thesis is the processing of project documentation for the construction of a residential building in Dolní Břežany. It is a detached building with four above-ground floors and one underground floor. In the basement there are cellars, technical facilities and other common areas. There are a total of twenty housing units in the above-ground floors. The building is designed as a masonry system with cast-in-place reinforced concrete floor. Underground external loadbearing wall are made of concrete permanent formwork. The above-ground structures are made of clay masonry. The foundation of the building is carried out by means of foundation strips. The roof of the building is covered with a warm flat roof.
Revitalization of the object
Mík, Petr ; Spáčilová, Jitka (referee) ; Spáčil, Miroslav (advisor)
This master´s thesis called „Revitalization of object“ is compiled as a project documentation according to relevant technical regulations and norms. Object is designed as a four-story building including two below-ground stories and an attic. It is comprised of a brick wall system stemming from present stone foundations and a sloped framed roof. All ceilings are based on existing horizontal constructions. Object is newly laid out as a five-unit flat house with facilities included.
Hotel Aztec
Beránek, Tomáš ; Spáčilová, Jitka (referee) ; Sukopová, Dáša (advisor)
The aim of the thesis was to design a building named Hotel Aztec. The building will serve for accommodation and recreation. The restaurant is also part of the hotel. There is a car park near the hotel building. The hotel has four floors and basement. There are 26 suites, 2 of them are three bed rooms, 20 double or twin rooms and 4 single rooms. The south-facing orientation of the suites ensures sufficient insolation. In ground floor there is one twin room for disabled persons. In ground floor there is restaurant with kitchen connected with bar in basement. There is also wellness centre, mechanical rooms and storages. On the northeast side of the hotel there are offices and rooms for employees and training room. The loadbearing masonry is from sand-lime blocks and there are cast-in-place reinforced concrete slabs and concrete foundations. The external wall is insulated with ETICS. All roofs are warm flat, over the restaurant there is intensive green roof, The roof over the 2nd floor is walkable - roof terrace. Over the 3rd floor there is non-walkable flat roof. The building is heated by heat pumps and there is mechanical ventilation with heat recovery.
Administrative building
Smejkal, Petr ; Spáčilová, Jitka (referee) ; Sedláková, Markéta (advisor)
The subject of the diploma thesis is the elaboration of the project documentation of an administrative building in the south-eastern part of Brno. The building has seven above-ground floors, of which five above-ground floors will be used as office space, one above-ground floor will be used for commercial use and gastronomy. On the last floor, there will be an elevator lift range and a technical background for air conditioning. The support system is designed as a reinforced concrete skeleton based on a reinforced concrete slab and pilots. The façade is designed as lightly ventilated with facing bricks. For this object, a single-shell roof area is selected.
Retirement home
Kratochvíl, Jakub ; Spáčilová, Jitka (referee) ; Spáčil, Miroslav (advisor)
The topic of this thesis is a project documentation of a Retirement home located in Prague in Novodvorská street. The building is designed as a stand-alone building with five floors of a rectangular ground plan with a receding fifth storey. The retirement home is divided into a public section - a pharmacy and a part for clients - accommodation, leisure time including facilities - a restaurant with a kitchen, a laundry room. The construction system is designed as a reinforced concrete monolitic skeleton with rectanguplar columns and the filling structures are made of ceramic blocks. The building is based on reinforced concrete footings. A waterproof concrete is proposed for the lift shaft, and the foundation sills are designed for the perimeter masonry. Roofing of the 4th and 5th floor is a warm flat roof. In the 4th floor roofing section, the roof is made as a concrete tiles paving. The main entrance to the building is from southwest and the access to the building is from the northwest side where there is a parking lot for employees and clients.

On the first underground a above ground floor there is a café and on the second floor there are office spaces. The others floors are designed as residential. Structural sytem of building is cast in place concrete bearing wall system. Exterior building envelope is made of combination of contact thermal insulation system with ventilated facade with thermal insulation of mineral wool insulation. The roof of the building is designed as a nonwalkable warm flat roof.

Wooden buildings using natural thermal and acoustic insulation
Ambrožová, Elena ; Spáčilová, Jitka (referee) ; Myslín,, Jiří (referee) ; Solař,, Jaroslav (referee) ; Hirš, Jiří (referee) ; Spáčil, Miroslav (advisor)
Dissertation deals with the technical parameters of natural thermal insulation. In addition, there is a global trend in the construction of reducing energy consumption for heating, air conditioning, or with operating facilities in buildings and the use of perspective and efficient building materials with a negligible negative impact on the environment. Therefore, the attention not only professionals are increasingly turning to alternative materials, such as natural insulation, the material can be drawn from local sources and whose production is energy-saving and leaving a small ecological footprint. As part of the doctoral thesis were tested short term water absorption, measurements were made of the thermal conductivity and its change after the test short term water absorption. Was determined dependence of thermal conductivity on humidity and heat resistance was determined. Moreover a natural insulation applications in building construction with a comparison of the various technical parameters and environmental footprint. At the conclusion was made by acoustic insulation in timber construction and price analysis.
