Slavíková, Lucie ; Chrpová, Jana ; Palicová, Jana ; Hanzalová, Alena ; Dumalasová, Veronika ; Ripl, Jan ; Jarošová, Jana ; Kumar, Jiban
The fungal and virus diseases are still very actual topics due to the high proportion of cereals in crop rotation and large cultivated area. The cereal crops often decimated by fungal diseases like eyespot, powdery mildew, smuts, rusts, Fusarium head blight and brown leaf spot diseases. The virus diseases include Barley yellow dwarf virus – BYDV, Wheat dwarf virus – WDV and Wheat streak mosaic virus – WSMV are also very important due to the epidemic incidence in some years. This methodology summarizes the current knowledge of these fungal and virus diseases, focuses on the description, symptoms, occurrence, field and laboratory diagnostics and possibilities of crop protection against these diseases. Individual diseases are ranked in the order of their occurrence in the agroecosystem. The methodology can serve the farming communities and agronomist as a key to identifying the diseases infecting wheat crop.

Participation
Slavíková, Lucie ; Říha, Jiří (advisor) ; Vokoun, Rudolf (referee)
Participation Abstract The submitted thesis analyzes the institute of participation in the broader sense in Czech criminal law, thus except for participation in the narrower sense it focuses also on complicity. Participation is one of the most complicated topics of the general part of the criminal law while being currently one of the most relevant topics, since the number of criminal offences committed in cooperation is increasing. The purpose of the thesis is to critically evaluate current legal regulation of participation in the Czech Criminal Code and to suggest possible solutions to some of the identified drawbacks. This goal should be fulfilled not only by the analysis of Czech expert literature and case law, but also by the comparison with French and Belgian legal regulations of participation and by the analysis of relevant French and Belgian expert literature and case law. Except for the introductory part and the conclusion the thesis is composed of four chapters, which are further divided. The first chapter focuses firstly on a criminal participation of more persons in the commission of criminal offences in general and the possibilities of their punishment. In this context the system of plurality of criminal offences and the system of unity of a criminal offence (also known as the dualistic and...

Slavíková, Lucie ; Vít, Radek (advisor) ; Synková, Klára (referee)
Title: The Use of Media in the EFL Classrooms at Secondary Schools in the 21st Century Author: Bc. Lucie Slavíková Department: Department of English Language and Literature Supervisor: PhDr. Radek Vít, Ph.D. Abstract The aim of this diploma thesis is to explore and compare various types of the old and the new media, which are commonly used in the EFL classrooms at the Czech secondary schools in the 21st century. The key question is to what extent are the new media implemented into the English lessons at the Czech grammar and secondary technical and vocational schools. The findings of the online questionnaire survey, which was conducted on the random sample of the Czech secondary school teachers of English and on the sample of the 15 or 16 years old first grade secondary school students of English proved that both the old and the new media are commonly used in the English lessons. However, despite the fact that the lives of the 21st century students are largely influenced by the new media, the English teachers use the old media more often. It is recommended that more initiatives and programmes should be directed at the promotion of the implementation of the new media into the English lessons and also at the training of the teachers in using them effectively. Key words English language teaching, media...

Wheat streak mosaic virus: an important disease in cereal crops
Kumar, Jiban ; Slavíková, Lucie ; Chalupníková, Jana
Wheat streak mosaic virus (WSMV) causes serious disease in cereal crops, particularly in wheat. The main symptoms caused by WSMV include chlorotic streak mosaic on leaf, which become necrotic and gradually dry form the top of the leaf. In severe infection plant stunting and spike become sterile. WSMV is transmitted by cereal curl mite Aceria tosichella, and in low level (up to 1.5%) also transmitted by seeds. WSMV was detected in first time in the former Czechoslovakia in early eighties. The incidence of the virus in recent years is growing in the Czech Republic and even severe occurrence and wide distribution in some wheat fields in different regions of the country was determinated. This methodology put together recent knowledge of WSMV and its vector, including the incidence and possibilities of control cereal crops against the virus.

The agricultural management impact on matter losses in the model catchment of the Stropnice river
SLAVÍKOVÁ, Lucie
The content of this thesis The agricultural management impact on matter losses in the model catchment of the Stropnice river was to observe the quality of surface water and matter losses in five small catchments of Stropnice river. The samples from physico-chemical analysis were medium values from 2001 to 2011. There were observed pH, conductivity and concentrations of main ions and carbon in the surface waters. The results were analysed with multivariate Measures Anova - Tukey HSD post- hoc analyse. For the selected parameters a correlation analysis of the closeness of relationships was performed. There were differences between in sulphates surface water chemism in the upper parts of five streams. In the lower parts of five streams were significant differences between arable soils and meadows. The results confirmed that occurs a positive relation between the chemism of surface water and land use.
The influence of agricultural activities on surface waters physico-chemical parameters in Novohradsko area
SLAVÍKOVÁ, Lucie
Agriculture is an activity that affects the landscape. The aim töf this work was to observe the quality of water in the Novohradsko area. These following water quality parameters were measured: pH, conductivity, nitrates, phosphates, sulphates, chlorides and alkalines cations. The parameters changes were analysed for the years 2005 - 2010. The values of conductivity on the upper profile Stropnice River exceed the value of 50 ?S.cm-1. The values of conductivity in the lower profile of the Stropnice River do not exceed 175 ?S.cm-1. The results confirmed that the farming has a significant influence on the water quality in the Stropnice River although it is an extensive farming.
