An overview of available types of collaboration software was made. Semi-structured interviews were conducted in selected research groups on the basis of which the patterns and tools for collaboration were established. The grounded theory method was chosen to process the data collected from interviews and analyses. The result of the thesis is the research cycle with marked activities in which cooperation is taking place in the studied groups. This documents the state of usage of information and communication technology in research collaboration. It was found that information and communication technology does have an impact on research work in the whole scientific cycle in the studied research groups. Authenticity and Digital Information
Cubr, Ladislav ; Ivánek, Jiří (advisor) ; Sklenák, Vilém (referee) ; Hutař, Jan (referee)
The dissertation focuses on the authenticity of digitized books in the context of their life cycle (production, preservation, access). First the OIAS high-level conceptual framework for lifecycle management of digital documents maintained by organizations is introduced. Then the current situation of digitized books lifecycle management is described. This part is followed by an introducing to relevant conceptualizations of the authenticity of digital documents and these conceptualizations are analyzed and reviewed. Then framework for analysis of authenticity is established based on previous findings. This framework is then used to identify authenticity requirements for digitized books and to develop a domain-specific conceptualization of the authenticity of digitized books. This conceptualization deploys detailed analysis of risks threatening authenticity during lifecycle management of digitized books. The selected topics of this conceptualization are then the source for the next step, which is to develop a recommended practice for maintaining authenticity of digitized books. This practice is further specified for one partial solution to the problem of maintaining the authenticity of digital documents throughout their life cycle, which is a persistent identification system.

Bartlík, Jakub ; Sklenák, Vilém (advisor) ; Radváková, Věra (referee)
This bachelor thesis focuses on the system \LaTeX , which can be used for creating professional theses. It is a suitable, yet user-demanding, alternative to the ordinary text editors. The purpose of my thesis is to introduce the system \LaTeX , I will describe the operation of the system in a way that will allow the user to get to know how the system works, and create in the system \LaTeX ~their own professional document. Eventually a professionall thesis in accordance with the standards set out by the University of Economics in Prague. The aim of this thesis is to create templates, which could be used by students of the University of Economics for creating a professional dissertation document. The thesis is divided into two parts. The first part is theoretical, where I explain how to work with \LaTeX ~and what are the basic syntax. In the second - practical - part, I focus on making a professional thesis in the system \LaTeX . The templates designed for \LaTeX ~together suitable for the University of Economics students for creating a professional thesis was made based on the official formal adjustment requirements of the final thesis issued by the department of Information Technologies. This thesis itself follows these templates and so it is an example that these templates can be used for writting a professional thesis at the universities. Avalilability of different programs and editors is wide nowadays and students, who create professional thesis have a lot of options, that is why is good to know these options and be able to orientate oneself in them. On this count my thesis will be beneficial and can serve as a manual for future users of \LaTeX , one of these useful programs.
