Development of small towns in the Posázaví region

The diploma thesis is concerned with the development of three small towns in the Posázaví region. Development preconditions are evaluated according to the project implementation and financing and the communication of the town council with the public. The aim of the thesis is to evaluate what projects the towns implemented during the monitored period and whether these projects contributed to the town development. In the theoretical part of the thesis are defined various types of functioning of public administration and development factors with the emphasis on human and social capital. Furthermore, the thesis discusses different approaches to strategic planning as a major tool for successful development. The chapter about the budget with the emphasis on subsidies is also included in the theoretical part. Two hypotheses emerged from the theoretical part. Following analyses try to answer these hypotheses. The practical part is gradually divided into primary and secondary analysis. In the secondary analysis, the internal development factors and the realized projects, which were divided into development and maintenance, were evaluated. Sport tourism in regional development

Title: Sport Tourism and its Influence on Development of Regions Objectives: The objective of the thesis is to introduce the sport tourism as a convenient tool for the regional development, to find out if the regions think about it in this way nowadays and how the sport tourism is incorporated in the strategic documents if so. The finding if the sport tourism is considered as a separate branch or if it is still divided into sport and tourism industry is also remarkable. This thesis sets the target to outline the different ways of the sport tourism application in a regional development and to determine certain recommendations as well. Methods: The methods used at research are qualitative content analysis and semi- structured interview. The analysis is used for the strategic documents of regions and the interviews are held with the regional representatives and the private institution agents chosen by a snowball sampling. Subsequently, a holistic analysis and an interpretation of discovered results are made. Results: I have revealed that sport and tourism are both part of the strategic documents of the regions, but no region uses the term 'sport tourism' in these documents. The role of territorial development actors in brownfields revitalization in Sušice

This thesis deals with the role of actors involved in brownfield revitalization in the town of Sušice. Specifically, it concerns the revitalization of the former Solo Sušice and former maternity hospital. These old unused buildings and lands necessarily need revitalize and find new functional uses. The role of actors can have a key influence on the regeneration of both monitored areas themselves. The work discusses mainly cooperation, communication and consensus between public administration, the private sector and the public. The theoretical part is focused on institutional theories, factors of territorial development, actors of spatial development, management of city administration and use of spatial development documents. In the empirical part, brownfields in Sušice are presented and the results obtained through interviews, questionnaire and development document analysis are presented. Research has shown a very different role for actors involved in revitalization. In Sušice, the most important role is played by the association My ze Sušice. Statements analysis of the municipal districts to the Prague Metropolitan plan

The bachelor thesis focuses mainly on the Metropolitan plan- the spatial plan of the capital city Prague. Especially, it deals with the statements from the municipal districts of Prague to the Metropolitan plan. In the theoretical introduction the broader concept of spatial planning and several approaches to it are explained. Further on, the thesis explains the organization of the public administration system and its four types and the connection between it, mainly because it is very important in the whole process of spatial planning. The second part of the thesis pays attention to the analysis of the municipal district. Individual statements are sorted into seven different categories, which covers mostly all of the topics of the territorial development. The influence of projects from Operational program "Podnikání a inovace" on the regional development of Tachov district The main goal of bachelor thesis is the research of influence of subsidies from operational program "Podnikání a inovace" on the regional development of Tachov district. The attention is engaged on description of peripheral Then there are promoted outlets of European regional policy including "operational programs" and their connection with czech developmental documents. Through impact of developmental projects on companies there is described influence of subsidies on local economy, particularly from standpoint of additional value. According to research there is described position of companies wthin value chains including influence of subsidies in upgrading of these positions. The main benefit of thesis is revelation of influence of research and development infrastructure on local economy and then, identification resources of another competitiveness. Factors for development of rural municipalities in Wallachia

The rural environment and its issues have become a center of interest in regional development quite recently. Due to its complex transformation over the last few decades, it must be cared for and developed further so that it can be enjoyed by future generations as well. Rural development should therefore be a complex process, focused on all the rural components that make it. To properly target rural development, it is necessary to identify the key factors that can make development possible. The identification of key development factors is closely related to development agents. Without development agents and their cooperation at all levels, it is very difficult to achieve effective and successful rural development. Development in municipalities is also influenced by the geographical location of municipalities and their distance from the regional center. The problems of municipalities are enhanced by its size. The smaller the village, the bigger the problem and the more complicated the development. For small municipalities it may be crucial to draw on development from their own resources, which are human and social capital. Factors of instability of local assembly in Czechia

Bachelor thesis deals with conditions influencing stability of local assembly in Czechia in 2014-2018. In this research dissolution of an assembly and following election announcement is considered as an expression of instability. The thesis follows two main goals. First is to find regularities in terms of area, size and demographic. Second is to find actual reasons of local assembly dissolutions. Analytical section aims to characterize municipalities in which extraordinary elections took place in 2014-2018. Regularities relating to the type of countryside, share of non-believers and natives were defined based on sectional quantitative analyses. The second goal was achieved by searching through news in local internet journals. Main reasons of local assembly dissolution were defined based on the found reports. Predominantly the reasons were personal disagreements, low interest in candidacy and disputes about the direction the municipality is heading. Clusters of municipalities where local assembly dissolution occurred and areas of highest occurrence of local assembly instability were also defined. The relationship between physical and strategic plan - case study of Třeboň, Jindřichův Hradec and Dačice

The bachelor thesis focuses on the relationship between physical planning and strategic planning. In the theoretical part, the thesis deals with the development of the municipality and the tools which can be used to achieve it. The thesis identifies physical and strategic plan as the two most important tools of local development. The both documents are briefly characterized, also their aims and differences are discussed. Theoretical models of mutual relations between documents are introduced separately. In the practical part, the bachelor thesis deals with evaluation of the relationship of the physical and strategic plan in three selected towns - Třeboň, Jindřichův Hradec and Dačice. The evaluation is realized by analysing and comparing documents according to determined criteria, which verify the rate of cooperation and general connection of documents. The thesis deals with the priorities determined in both documents, the connection of general content, the process of creation and approval of documents, the time sequence of both documents and the realization of the concrete intentions. The result of the thesis is confirmation of the interconnections of the documents and the determined hypotheses.
