Orlandin, Piero ; Stejskal, Vojtěch (advisor) ; Pokorný, Jiří (referee)
The legal principle of sustainable development in response to the climate change Abstract The ongoing climate change is a serious global problem of today's world. The impacts of this change on the environment and humankind together with the climatic sources of law on the international, EU and national level, were the objects of research of the first half of the introductory part of this master's thesis. The second half of the first part of the text introduces sustainable development as a sui generis solution, both as a general concept and as a legal principle according to the valid Czech law. Subsequently, the second part of the thesis conducts analysis of selected climate-sustainable institutes that respected the principles of sustainable development from the perspective of three different European countries. These specific approaches, which were demonstrated with the selected countries, subsequently serve as an inspiration for the synthesis in the final part of the thesis. In it, a recapitulation of the selected current climatic threats was undertaken, to which the author offers a solution through specific sustainable ways of functioning in the world's major socio-economic sectors. Subsequently, a similar analysis was performed on selected socio-economic sectors of the Czech Republic, which the author...

Majerák, Pavel ; Franková, Martina (advisor) ; Pokorný, Jiří (referee)
TITLE: Water reservoir in legal relations AUTHOR: Pavel Majerák DEPARTMENT: Department od Environmental Law SUPERVISOR: JUDr. Martina Franková, Ph.D. ABSTRACT: This diploma thesis deals with the analysis of the issues of legal relations of water reservoirs, namely as a specific water work or naturally originated,so called natural body of water. In relation to the absence of legal definition of the term of water reservoir it defines the term of water reservoir itself and it closer introduces its single forms which it subsequently introduces in single legal regulations of public and private law. Special attention is paid to water reservoirs in the concept of protection against the impacts of droughts and in realization of anti-flood arrangements. KEYWORDS: water reservoir, law, water work, flood, drought

Hardware accelerated data transfer using TLS protocol
Zugárek, Adam ; Pokorný, Jiří (referee) ; Smékal, David (advisor)
This paper describes implementation of the whole cryptographic protocol TLS including control logic and used cryptographic systems. The goal is to implement an application in the FPGA technology, so it could be used in hardware accelerated network card. The reason for this is new supported higher transmission speeds that Ethernet is able to operate on, and the absence of implementation of this protocol on FPGA. In the first half of this paper is described theory of cryptography followed by description of TLS protocol, its development, structure and operating workflow. The second half describes the implementation on the chosen technology that is also described here. It is used already existing solutions of given cryptographic systems for the implementation, or at least their parts that are modified if needed for TLS. It was implemented just several parts of whole protocol, such are RSA, Diffie-Hellman, SHA and part of AES. Based on these implementations and continuing studying in this matter it was made conclusion, that FPGA technology is inappropriate for implementation of TLS protocol and its control logic. Recommendation was also made to use FPGA only for making calculations of given cryptographic systems that are controlled by control logic from software implemented on standard processors.
Wireless communication analysis using software defined radio
Štrajt, Martin ; Štůsek, Martin (referee) ; Pokorný, Jiří (advisor)
The work deals with the use of software-defined radio as a probe for monitoring the operation of wireless communication according to the IEEE 802.11a/g standard. In the theoretical introduction, the concept of software-defined radio as a hardware device with software programmable circuits enabling the transmission or reception of signals in theoretically any frequency band is introduced. The introduction also contains adescription of selected devices and the IEEE 802.11 protocol with its most used additionsand modulations. In the first part of the practical part of the work, wireless communication is capturedusing a wireless network card in monitoring mode. The intercepted communication was decrypted and this decrypted traffic was compared with the data captured by the probe within the network. These results then served as acomparative basis for software-defined radio capturing. The focus of this work is to verify the capabilities of software-defined radio and its use for sniffing wireless communicationin the frequency band 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz. The attempt to use a software-defined radio here results from the scalability and adaptability that a wireless card cannot offer due to fixed hardware parameters. LimeSDR mini, LimeSDR and bladeRF 2.0 devices were used for capture. First, the configuration of the operating system, the installation of drivers and programs for control and work with selected devices are described. After verifying the functionality of the software-defined radio, a model of a signal decoder with the parameters of the IEEE 802.11g standard captured from the radio spectrum was put into operation. Finally, the data streams captured by the software-defined radio and the wireless network card were compared side by side. The results showed that the software-defined radio in the used configuration captures only a part of the total volume of transmitted frames.
