Li-Ion battery testing and diagnostics device
Musil, Milan ; Novotný, Radovan (referee) ; Levek, Vladimír (advisor)
This thesis deals with the design of the device for diagnostics Li-Ion cells. The device is devided into a control module and a battery module. The control module provides communication with the user, communication with the computer and data backup to the SD card. The battery module is used for charging, discharging and measuring cells.
Společenstvo bentických organismů na dolním toku Ohře, Labe a jejich přítocích
MUSIL, Martin
The purpose of this work was to describe the current status of benthic communities on the main stream of Elbe River and Ohře River and their tributaries affected and non-affected by biological invasions - especially by round goby (Neogobius melanostomus) and spiny - cheek crayfish (Faxonius limosus). Sampling for this research took place from April 2018 to August 2018, while morphiologic survey of waterbodies was done in November 2017. Two tributaries of the Elbe River (Milešovský brook and Ploučnice River) and one tributary of the Ohře River (Čepel) were selected for this research. Two 100 m long sections (lower stretch potentially affected by invaders and upper stretch as referential) were monitored at each tributary. At the same time a 100 m long main flow section was monitored near the mouth of the tributaries. The following parameters were monitored: morphology of the stream and basic physical and chemical parameters of water, zoobenthos community, crayfish occurrence, and fish community. The benthic communities of the upper streams were less affected by biological invasions. The biodiversity of the benthic communities in the upper sections was richer compared to the lower sections. The occurrence of the round goby seemed to be factor affecting benthic and fish communities at the sites concerned. It was an eudominant species in the Elbe section in Děčín and becoming dominant in the lower section of Ploučnice River.
You cannot step into the same fishpond twice - an evolution of fishpond ecosystems to hypertrophy
Vrba, Jaroslav ; Benedová, Z. ; Jezberová, Jitka ; Matoušů, Anna ; Musil, M. ; Nedoma, Jiří ; Pechar, L. ; Potužák, J. ; Řeháková, Klára ; Šimek, Karel ; Šorf, M. ; Zemanová, J.
Shallow manmade fishponds in south Bohemia were used for fish production for centuries, however, their ecosystems have changed dramatically due to excessive nutrient loading and fish stocking. Preliminary results of ten sampled fishponds suggested their hypertrophic status at present, while their plankton structure and dynamics reflected the actual size/age class of fish stock consisting predominantly of common carp. Planktivorous fish (both young carp and whitefish) remarkably reduced abundance, size, and species diversity of crustacean zooplankton, in particular large daphnids, whereas larger carp itself did not cause such a strong top-down effect. All other plankton components, i.e. phytoplankton, bacteria, protists, and rotifers showed rather high abundance and diversity, and suggested a reasonable impact of various microbial processes and interactions in the recent hypertrophic ecosystems.
HDR Image Acquisition on Mobile Devices
Mik, Filip ; Musil, Martin (referee) ; Nosko, Svetozár (advisor)
This bachelor thesis deals with aquisition of high dynamic range images. The resulting HDR image is created by processing of LDR image sequence - by merging and then tone mapping. This thesis includes description of all issues related to the process of acquisition and displaying HDR image. Whole process is then implemented in form of Android application.
Development of Web-Based Computational Tool for Analysis of Microcalorimetry Data
Nedeljković, Sava ; Musil, Miloš (referee) ; Sumbalová, Lenka (advisor)
Proteins are organic molecules made up of amino acids which are present in all living organisms. They are the main building blocks of life. Study of protein stability has great application in pharmaceutical, biochemical and medical industries, which makes it in high demand. Stability of a protein and many other properties can be determined by observing its unfolding mechanisms. Differential Scanning Calorimetry (DSC) has proven to be a very precise method for this task. The main goal of this thesis is to improve functions of software CalFitter, which analyses data obtained from DSC experiments. The new functionality of the software enables it to automatically calculate initial parameters, which are needed for successful analyses.
System with RC Model Servos
Kutěj, Jaromír ; Nosko, Svetozár (referee) ; Musil, Martin (advisor)
This thesis addresses the design of a movable RC model with a use of servo motors. It describes both the analysis of suitable hardware and a realization of the project with an emphasis on microcomputer controlled devices and technologies communication technologies with said devices. Furthermore, an interaction a interfacing with user is discussed. Based on findings a system is then implemented in form of a model of a car built atop of microcomputer, controlled wirelessly using a mobile application. This system is then enhanced by proximity sensors that prevent collisions by halting movement of the car.
Machine Learning as a Tool for the Prediction of the Effect of Mutations on Protein Stability
Dúbrava, Juraj Ondrej ; Martínek, Tomáš (referee) ; Musil, Miloš (advisor)
The main focus of this thesis is the prediction of the effect of amino acid substitutions on protein stability. My goal was to develop a predictive tool for the classification of the effect of mutations by combining several machine learning techniques. The implemented predictor, which utilizes SVM and Random forest methods, has achieved higher accuracy than any of the integrated methods. The novel predictive tool was compared with the existing ones using independent testing dataset. The predictor has yield 67 % accuracy and MCC 0,3.
HDR Image Acquisition and Tone-Mapping
Guniš, Erik Anton ; Musil, Martin (referee) ; Nosko, Svetozár (advisor)
Bachelor thesis deals with HDR image acquisition. Describes and solves implementation of acquisition of low dynamic range images and creating of high dynamic range image. It also deals with problem of displaying high dynamic range image. This issue is solved by tone-mapping.
Design of a robotic workplace for the operation of injection molding machines with subsequent assembly and inspection
Musil, Marek ; Vetiška, Jan (referee) ; Bradáč, František (advisor)
The thesis deals with the design of a robotic workplace for the operation of injection moulding machines. It is concerned with the design of the workplace component deployment and the evaluation of the best variant using a multi-criteria assessment. In detail, attention is paid to the end effectors of industrial robots and the assembly workplace, where finishing operations take place. Finally, the risk analysis and technical and economic evaluation of the proposed workplace are carried out.
HDR Image Acquisition on Mobile Devices
Padyšák, Michal ; Nosko, Svetozár (referee) ; Musil, Martin (advisor)
This bachelor thesis deals with high dynamic range in digital photography. This problem is solved by composing multiple images with different time exposure of the same scene into single one including high dynamic range. Method is implemented as an application for Android operating system and the result can be shown on display of the device.
