Design of experimental apparatus for measuring of rolling resistance of cycle tyres
Matela, Milan ; Medlík, Jan (referee) ; Vrbka, Martin (advisor)
This bachelor´s thesis deals with construction solution for measurement station of rolling resistance of cycle tyres. It shortly explains what is the term rolling resistance and describes its definition. The thesis analysis existing methods measurements of rolling resistance. It chooses the most acceptable one and it describes design construction solution of measurement station.
Design of an axial segment bearing simulator
Sedlačík, Jan ; Medlík, Jan (referee) ; Svoboda, Petr (advisor)
The bachelor thesis deals with an engineering design of a hydrodynamic thrust bearing simulator. The experimental apparatus has been designed to study the oil-film thickness between the pad and the glass disc. The goal of this thesis is to approach real operating conditions. The repeatability of the experimental conditions is provided by using transducers, way of loading and lubrication. The bachelor thesis contains a summary of rigs designed and measuring methods used, designs of constructional variations and a description of the engineered apparatus are also included.
Mobile grinding modulusve
Lux, Martin ; Medlík, Jan (referee) ; Černý, Michal (advisor)
The basic aim of this bachelor’s thesis is design mobile grinding modulus facet for the cutting angle of non-standard edge.
Level scraping systems of settlement tanks
Bartoš, Pavel ; Medlík, Jan (referee) ; Brandejs, Jan (advisor)
This bachelor’s thesis contains survey of various ways to clean waste water, types of waste treatment plants and its components. The thesis above all adverts to two types of waste treatment tank bottom raking. It describes individual raking effects, advantages, disadvantages and convenience of use. Closing disserts on methods of sludge thickening with use of thickening tanks.
Possibilities of loading contact at tribological simulator.
Brada, Karel ; Koutný, Daniel (referee) ; Medlík, Jan (advisor)
In this bachelor thesis were discussed different possibilities of loading used by significant authors during the second half of the twentieth century in experimental studies of the elastohydrodynamic lubrication. Loading by weight through disc, weight through ball, spring, pneumatic, hydraulic, electrodynamic, and through the ball shaft has been described. Advantages and disadvantages of the loading possibilities were discussed along with their eventual application on the experimental apparatus situated at the Institute of Machine Design, Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, Brno University of Technology.
