It has two main aims: - 1) to gather knowledge from ELT methodology and combine it with information from other source disciplines, e.g. special pedagogy, pedagogy, psychology, and linguistics to form a coherent basis of special systemic English language teaching methodology for learners with impaired hearing; - 2) to carry out a research project in the field of reading with deaf and hard-of-hearing learners at secondary schools since reading is the skill which is practised by all groups of learners with hearing impairment. The dissertation summarizes information on these learners, it describes their characteristics and needs. Main communication methods are presented, as well as some thoughts on the development of language and mind of the deaf. A substantial part of the work is devoted to motivation, emotional and personal development of deaf learners and to their practical communicative needs in the classroom. The work sums up the ELT methodology findings and comments on them from the perspective of a special school teacher. The research part reflects the project findings in the field of...

This thesis summarizes the general concepts regarding the High-level waste vitrification. It describes the one-stage and two-stage principles of vitrification and special method "cold crucible". There are summarized advantages and disadvantages of these methods. In this thesis are specific of vitrification facilities around the world. There are the general characteristics of glass used for immobilization High- level waste. Most countries use borosilicate glass, but only in Russia are used phosphate glass. There is shown the composition range of glass and compare their typical properties. This thesis ends with an example of the chemical composition of certain ending vitrification products.
Haplotyping of oak populations by chloroplast sequencing reveals origin and homogeneity of populations
Vlasák, Josef ; Cvrčková, H. ; Máchová, P.
The aim of this publication is to present new method of DNA isolation from young\noak leaves that enables efficient amplification of trnD-trnT region of chloroplast\nDNA and direct sequencing of crude PCR reaction mixture. Sequence data of trnDtrnT region have been used to examine Quercus robur and Q. petraea populations variability. High discrimination power of this method is demonstrated, comparable with previously used restriction analysis of four similar chloroplast DNA regions. Variable positions in trnT-trnD chloroplast DNA fragment are mapped and their use for oak haplotyping indicated. As an example, 20 Czech Republic oak populations were analyzed and their history, geografical origin and homo/heterogeneity were revealed.

Has a special position then the international program of the World Health Organization WHO Intersun that assesses and quantifies health risks and develop appropriate responses by issuing various directives, recommendations and dissemination of information, while providing practical advice and information to government health and environmental issues in UV radiation. Practical work logic device monitoring students' knowledge about the positive and negative effects of UV radiation on the body, while also monitoring their attitudes toward tanning , protection from sunlight and behavior in case of suspicious skin changes.

APPUCATION OF A SHORT-TIME HYDROPONICS FOR SELECTION OF APPROPRIATE DECIDUOUS WOODY PLANTS SPECIES FOR REMEDIATION PURPOSES
Malá, J. ; Cvrčková, H. ; Máchová, P. ; Dostál, J. ; Soudek, Petr ; Šíma, P.
A rapid trial of accumulation capacities for heavy metals Pb, Cd, and Cr of selected fast-growing deciduous woody plant species is presented. The Sorbus aucuparia, Populus tremula x P. tremuloides, Salix x blanda, S. viminalis, S. miyabeana, and S. elbursensiswere clonally micropropagated by induction of organogenesis. Samples of roots and aboveground parts from plantlets grown in aseptic conditions in agar semisolid substrate and hydroponics media supplemented by the heavy metal salts were taken at 2, 4, and 8 days of cultivation. The concentrations and distributions of the accumulated metals were determined using the ICP-OES method and verified by autoradiography. Practically, amounts of accumulated heavy metals increased linearly up to the end of the experiment and were higher in the roots than in aboveground parts in both, the agar cultures and hydroponics. It could be concluded that all tested species displayed a high efficacy of metal uptake and could represent prospective trees for phytoremediation of polluted soils.
