1 Veronika Kucrová: Proměna kulturní krajiny v zázemí hlavního města: Dolnobřežansko v 16. - 19. století Abstract Transformation of the cultural landscape in the vicinity of the capital city: Dolnobřežansko in 16th-19th century This study is dealing with the development of cultural landscape in the Dolní Břežany Estate in the early modern times, specifically from late 16th century to the middle of 19th century. The focal points of the study are three important elements: the development of the built-up areas of the selected villages, the monitoring of the transformation of the landscape out of the built-up and uninhabited areas (forests in particular), and finally the detection of agricultural and other objects in the landscape - the reason of their origin, use and potential downfall. The Dolní Břežany Estate is located 16 km south of Prague, it was established gradually starting in 14th century but its biggest growth was during the beginning of 17th century. Minor aristocratic owners were replaced by influential representatives of the Czech state (the Želínský family of Sebuzín, Michna of Vacínov) until the Prague Archbishopric became the new owner in 1713. This Bachelor's thesis deals with the development of the incorporated area172 of the municipality of Libeř in Central Bohemia from the 16th till the 19th century. The study used mainly the source material concerning the changes in possession of the individual farmsteads - the farmland books, registers, old land registers (Theresian Register, Josephinian Register, the so-called Stable Land Register), as well as archive maps, especially the so-called Indication Scheme173.
Libeř. Transformation of microsocial, agricultural, and ecological structure of the village in the Central Bohemia region in the Early modern period

This Thesis puts mind to population and natural development of village Libeř in Central Bohemia. The first part focuses on demography and follow nuptiality, natality and mortality from the end of 16th till the middle of 19th century. Selected developments are compared with similar and other locality. Fragments offers look to everydayness of Libeř's villagers - strategy of partners selection, choice of childern's names and godfathers, most frequent causes of death in individual age categories etc. The most important fountains for historical demography are church registers and old land registers. Confessional and memorial books are complementary to partial details to concrete people. In this chapter is short development of parishs, which partakes of spiritual government in Libeř. The 2.th. part of Thesis studies changes of natural territory and his usage, formation village borders and image of rural zone. Among monitored problems pertains patrimonial competency to parcels and changes, too. Base of documents are above all written and cartographic fountains - the old land registers, cadasters (Theresian Register, Josephinian Register) and memorial books.
