School support for pupils suffering from the loss of relatives

This diploma thesis is dealing with the methods teachers and school psychologist may use to approach their pupils who have been affected by the death of their relative, particularly a family member. The theoretical part of the thesis is focusing on the existing research in the area of mourning of school-age children and pays special attention to the risks connected with insensitive approach of teachers in this matter. The thesis tries to introduce some principles of the teacher's sensitive approach during the lessons, while paying extra attention to the personal and moral development of the individual in the area of their perception of surroundings, specifically during Civic Education and Health Education. The next topic in the theoretical part is the cognitive development of pupils and their view on the death itself in general, as it is a part of life that we have to somehow prepare for and thus need to have some kind of knowledge about the difficulties that come with death. Burnout among teachers in special schools, working with students with multiple disabilities

The thesis deals with problems of burnout among special educators working in special primary schools with students with multiple disabilities. There are defined basic concepts in the theoretical part of the work - burn-out syndrome, its symptoms, causes and stages of development. Separate chapters are devoted to the diagnosis of burn-out syndrome and prevention. Furthermore, the concept of a special educator and a multiple disability is explained in the theoretical section and a special primary school is described here. The practical part focuses on quantitative research into burn-out syndrome in two selected groups - special educators in special primary schools and teachers in ordinary primary schools. The results of the investigation are then compared with each other.
The knowledge of burnout syndrome of final-year pupils in selected high schools in the Česká Lípa district

Burnout syndrome has recently been a frequently discussed term. Burnout is a state of emotional, mental and physical exhaustion as a result of excessive chronic stress. Burnout syndrome affects all people regardless of their age and occupation. The thesis is divided into a theoretical and a practical part. The theoretical part of this thesis defines burnout syndrome, explains its causes of origin and describes its phases, symptoms and risk factors for its occurrence. Furthermore, the thesis deals with prevention of burnout and distinguishes burnout from other negative phenomena. The practical part is realized through a quantitative research method - a questionnaire. Long-term foster care from the perspective of selected foster parents

This bachelor thesis is focused on the issue of long-term foster care in the Czech Republic, from the perspective of foster parents, who are an important part of the form of substitute family care. The work is classically divided into theoretical and practical part. The theoretical part of the work defines the substitute family care, mainly foster care with a focus on the long-term type, and explains the important aspects and concepts related to the given care are explained. In practical part, we can find an outline of the research, which is aimed at interpreting the identified data, we got thanks to structured interviews created with selected foster parents and comparing them, including a subsequent summary of the main findings briefly recorded in the results of this work. The main objective of this research and overall my bachelor's thesis is to gather up-to-date information on the whole issue of long-term foster care, from the perspective of the actors of long-term foster care, more precisely foster parents. The aim of this bachelor essay named "Views of pupils and students from a selected secondary school and a university on homosexuality, registered partnership and children adoption" is to discover how young people perceive this question. Introduction contains the author's reasoning why she has chosen this topic. The essay is then divided into two parts, theoretical and practical. In the theoretical part, the author deals with human sexuality as a whole, explains the grounds of homosexuality and its sources, introduces the history of homosexuality and defines terms related to it, for example "coming out". Further in this section, there is an analysis of registered partnership, its beginning and cessation, rights and obligations of partners, history of adoption of the law on registered partnership in the Czech Republic and possibilities for homosexual person parenting. In the practical part of this essay the author presents a quantitative research carried out through a questionnaire survey aimed at pupils and students of one selected secondary school and one university.
