Design of replicated production of the selected part using the technology Reverse Engineering and Rapid prototyping
Kolář, Jakub ; Jaroš, Aleš (referee) ; Slaný, Martin (advisor)
This study has been as a diploma project at BUT. Theoretical part describes the most used methods in Reverse engineering and Rapid Prototyping. Each method describes its characteristics, usability and pros and cons in general. Practical part of this study deals with application of these methods. Goal of this work has been to obtain a digital model of a winker from Škoda 1000 car using optical scanner ATOS, making a new master model in CATIA software, analyzing its dimensions compared to the scanned model and choosing a suitable manufacturing technology with emphasis on functional properties of this component.

The security of operating systems for mobile devices
Kolář, Jakub ; Babnič, Patrik (referee) ; Rosenberg, Martin (advisor)
This term paper explains the concepts related to security of mobile devices. The first chapter acquainted with how to develop mobile operating systems and what types are found on the market today. Then the work explains the basic types of attacks and security vulnerabilities. Further work is discussed in the most famous and most popular operating systems, from their basic descriptions, architecture, and then security. In the eighth chapter of this work is a basic description and explanation of the function code itself created by malicious applications. The chapter contains weaknesses of the Android operating system used by the application, opportunities spread of malware and protect against possible attack. In the last chapter is contained laboratory task that acquaints students with the Android operating system and focuses on knowledge inappropriately protocols used to communicate with the Internet applications.
Analysis of the influence of thermal effects on thermophotovoltaic system
Kolář, Jakub ; Vyroubal, Petr (referee) ; Šimonová, Lucie (advisor)
This semestral thesis focuses on the description of specific renewable resources in the form of thermophotovoltaic cells using selective radiators with micro/nano structures. This work deals with an introduction of renewable resources and specifically focuses on thermophotovoltaic. Thesis describes basic principles, but also influences affecting the proper functioning of these systems. It also focuses on selective radiators, which are created by mikro/nano structures, and factors that can affect their implementation or simulation. Part of the work are also examples of calculations of basic parameters of the structures, which will be used in the simulations. Next chapters are dealing with simulations which are analyzing thermal effects on termophotovoltaic system. Except the analysis itself there is also partial optimalization solving some of the negative thermal effects.
Mobile application for remote server management
Kolář, Jakub ; Pecinovský, Rudolf (advisor) ; Rais, Aziz (referee)
Thesis deals with remote servers specifically those for the Minecraft. These servers are divided into groups. The work examines the possibility of remote access to these servers on network protocols level, which are described briefly, and also at the level of the game itself. Describes the game options that can be influenced via remote management. Then analyzes the applications that are intended for this remote access, and identifies problems associated with them. Based on the issues that implied from this analysis, application that solves these problems is designed. The first chapter contains a brief description of the network protocols that can be used to remotely manage servers for the Minecraft and identifies the most appropriate protocol. The next chapter describes the Minecraft, and specifically those of its regions which can be influenced via remote management. The next chapter analyzes the applications that can be used to remotely manage Minecraft servers and based on the problems that this analysis identifies, an application that solves these problems is designed. The designed application is then implemented. The last part contains user documentation of created application.
IFRS 4 Insurance Contracts Phase II - Current Situation and Outlook
Ochman, Daniel ; Bokšová, Jiřina (advisor) ; Kolář, Jakub (referee)
This thesis deals with phase II of IFRS 4 Insurance contracts. The aim of the standard is to establish the principles that an entity should apply to report useful information to users of its financial statements about the nature, amount, timing and uncertainty of cash flows from insurance contracts, so that the financial statements of the entity are comparable with financial statements of other entities. Therefore IASB introduced building blocks measurement model, where an insurance contract is measured based on the present value of expected fulfillment cash flows, risk margin and contractual service margin. The building blocks model is based on making extensive judgments when measuring the insurance contracts. To explain the judgments, the standard requires the entity to disclose details about the judgments in the footnotes to the financial statements. The building blocks model is used mainly for life insurance contracts. For contracts that last one year or less (usually non-life insurance contracts) the standard allows the entities to use a simplified approach for measuring insurance contracts that is similar as the current practice of measuring non-life insurance contracts. Revenues from insurance contracts should depict the transfer of promised services arising from the insurance contract in an amount that reflects the consideration to which the entity expects to be entitled in exchange for those services (this approach is in line with the prepared IFRS 15 Revenue from Contracts with Customers).
